The delivery was in good time considering it was over the weekend, the guild was informative enough, I'm very thankful for the comments area which gave tips along the way where I guide had missed the odd bit of information and as nice little sweetener, I think you for the little packet of haribo sweets, I didn't expect that.
Overall my valve index is now fixed and working and I feel I've learn something from doing it myself.

A bottle of solvent with a nozzle is included in the kit, and I have the impression from online sources that this has been substituted for a syringe. I would urge ifixit to restore the syringe. It is necessary to cut the tip off the solvent bottle and if a clean cut and narrow opening are not created solvent drips down the nozzle when the bottle is placed upright after use. When the bottle is inverted again, solvent drips off the exterior of the nozzle and bottle onto internal components. I feared I had ruined my computer despite taking care. Otherwise, the kit was as expected, and having the requisite screwdrivers was extremely helpful.
The fan isn't quiet, it's noisy. The PS5 gets way to warm after just 1 hour of gameplay with this replacement fan this however never happened with my OG 17 blades nidec fan after clocking up atleast 3 hours of gameplay in one session. The fan is either faulty or its just a poor quality fan that's overpriced.
I got the service kit to fix a Microsoft Surface Pro 5 - the tool bits provided were unsuitable for the job. Lucky I had some from another tool kit.

The parcel was dropped off with a neighbour even though I had specifically asked not to do that. They are not home often and now I have to spend a few days getting the parcel back

Bring back the syringe!

1st gen iPhone SE battery purchase: literally everything went wrong.
Wrong item supplied initially.
Tracking information not updated online, so package arrived without warning (fortunately I was in).
Took two emails to get a response after reporting that the wrong item was delivered.
No email or tracking information for the replacement: if it had arrived 20 minutes earlier I WOULDN'T have been in.
Clumsy and inconvenient process for returning the item that had been incorrectly sent in the first place.
And, to add insult to injury, the iFixit price for this particular item (1st gen iPhone SE battery) much higher than alternative suppliers (that are here in the UK so there wouldn't have been the delay of getting things shipped from Germany).

Did not tell me I would need separate adhesive. I assumed this was part of the screen package.
