The delivery was in good time considering it was over the weekend, the guild was informative enough, I'm very thankful for the comments area which gave tips along the way where I guide had missed the odd bit of information and as nice little sweetener, I think you for the little packet of haribo sweets, I didn't expect that.
Overall my valve index is now fixed and working and I feel I've learn something from doing it myself.

A bottle of solvent with a nozzle is included in the kit, and I have the impression from online sources that this has been substituted for a syringe. I would urge ifixit to restore the syringe. It is necessary to cut the tip off the solvent bottle and if a clean cut and narrow opening are not created solvent drips down the nozzle when the bottle is placed upright after use. When the bottle is inverted again, solvent drips off the exterior of the nozzle and bottle onto internal components. I feared I had ruined my computer despite taking care. Otherwise, the kit was as expected, and having the requisite screwdrivers was extremely helpful.

The difference between ifixit parts and cheap ones found elsewhere are massive. The quality is better, the fit is perfect and it comes with all the accessories you need. I bought an iPad digitiser and an iPhone battery - both with toolkits included and they are well thought out with even the packaging doubling as a work tray for all the screws. Parts may seem expensive at first compared to others but they are worth every last penny over poorly made substitutes I’ve used in the past from eBay and Amazon.

Great quality products supported by excellent guides - both online and video. Each are clear to follow and use. Some parts can be a bit fiddly and need to take care that don't drop tiny screws/fittings else will never find them. Magnetic matt was a real help! Thank you iFixit
