Trade furniture – what a fantastic company. From start to finish. Their website is full of excellent sustainable furniture. I recently bought a cube table – mango and it was delivered within 5 days from order. Not only that, the delivery man, Steve Halligan was absolutely brilliant. He was polite, respectful, and helpful, an excellent agent for the company. I then decided to buy the leather roll back chairs later on, rather than at the same time as I wanted to colour match the table first. Wow. The gorgeous, comfortable, antique brown leather chairs arrived, fully assembled, super quality. I would definitely recommend this company. Everything was labelled with the fire precaution signs, bubble wrapped on arrival. Just perfect. The company itself, if you have any questions, are always willing to answer and respond very quickly. A first class service.

The website that I ordered the furniture from gave a delivery date which was one week. We paid the delivery charge and the transaction went through. The next day we were informed the goods were out of stock. We offered other goods that we did not want. We are waiting for the shipment to arrive from India. We should have been informed before the order went through that the goods were out of stock.

Salsa dining chairs.

Ordered 6 dining chairs which on arrival were nothing like what I'd ordered from the pictures and description on the Website, however, they insisted that they were the correct chairs even after I'd sent pictures. Plus side, got refunded for delivery and not charged return fee. I've seen other chairs on their Website but won't be ordering again for fear of more hassle. You could improve by not sticking the customer out that they were the correct chairs when they were clearly not. An apology would be more well received. I know the difference between warm dark brown legs and black gloss!

I am sorry that you were unhappy with the colour of the chairs hence us offering a free return and full refund, customer service is very important to us and we were more than happy to collect from you and refund for you and I can see that you were offered an immediate apology via e-mail as you stated the legs were not as expected. The legs are dark Brown and not Black which I think is where there may have been some confusion as the sales team have informed you that the chairs that were delivered were the correct ones ordered with the dark Brown leg though the legs were darker than expected. Our Rattan chairs come with either a light wood or dark wood leg as they sit with many of our wooden tables in a variation of colours and as you do know that you can easily return items so if you would like to re order with us please give us a call and we will be happy to chat through available for you.

I am sorry that the item you ordered has been delayed by a few weeks, it was expected on the 30th May and due to shipping delays beyond our control it will now be arriving on the 13th June. We do have live stock status on the website and we do update customers as soon as we are aware of any further delays as we did in your case. Good customer care, when I had a damaged item… in addition I noticed a day after delivery after I threw boxes away a lot of minor cracks/splits on furniture but hoping it won’t get any worse…check furniture before delivery as you don’t except returns without packaging

I can see that you have contacted us about this and we are arranging an exchange for you. We do charge a re stocking fee for items returned without the box but this would not apply for an exchange or faulty item as in your case. We do also send a delivery guide and there is a sticker on the box to ensure customers are aware to keep the box in case of return. Our furniture has a 12 month guarantee so please rest assured that you can contact us should you have any further issues or concerns.

Would have given more stars, as service was very good. Unfortunately the quality wasn't quite as expected. Once in situ, fault isn't evident. So our decision was keep the cabinet. The overall effect is very good.

Not good so far

I drove a significant distance to the address listed on Google as open to find it closed. Upon calling the number I was told they're only a warehouse and not open at the weekend, but I could revisit in the week. I asked if there was any discount available if i was to revisit to buy the item, due to the incorrect information listed and the distance I'd travelled. I was offered free delivery. I accepted despite the fact I would now not see the item in person before buying. Advised the item would arrive mid Feb, OK fair enough, 6 weeks wait. Unfortunately I've now been told it won't be until mid May.

I am sorry that the item you wanted is out of stock, terrorist activity as you may be aware of in the News currently is causing delays to shipping and therefore a backlog of orders, we have sent you alternative products that are in stock should you wish to change your order and you have free delivery and a cash order so no payment has been processed, we are doing everything we can to resolve supply chain issues caused by this activity. Beautiful high quality furniture

Furniture beautiful, always well packaged for safe delivery. Ordering on the website and tracking problem free and delivery is always prompt. Friendly and helpful delivery guy. As mentioned following previous orders where this drops a star is that the company is not licensed to take furniture to an upstairs room which if you live on your own or are elderly or disabled this may be problematic. The other reason I couldn't justify giving 5 stars is that the unwrap service is not value for money and I wouldn't recommend it as it's a 2 man job for anything big so you end up assisting the delivery man and you're not licenced to take away the packaging which would be the greatest value for this service when purchasing a number of large items. Other than that I would highly recommend based on quality of products.

Thank you for your feedback which is greatly valued. In order to keep delivery costs as low as possible for our customers we offer a standard maximum delivery charge of just £19.95 which means that we operate each run at a loss hence not being possible to operate a 2 man delivery service without increasing the delivery charge by a significant amount. As most customers prefer a lower delivery charge we only offer a single man delivery service though I do understand this can be problematic due to the weight of the solid wood furniture, as we offer a 2-3 hour delivery window this gives our customers the chance to arrange for help to be on hand if required and our drivers can assist in getting items upstairs if there is adequate help and we are aware in advance so we can allocate additional delivery time. Our packaging can be flattened and disposed of in household recycling bins as we use recyclable packaging. I am glad you are happy with the furniture and we do constantly evaluate our service and cost to try to get the best possible balance between service and cost.

Always buy my furniture here. Website is easy to navigate, they supply wood samples to give you an idea of finishes/colour. Ordering and delivery is hassle free and always get a friendly courier. I would give a 5* but the downside is they don't deliver to toom of choice, only to your door so I've had to rely on friends to move stuff to where I need it. Otherwise would definitely recommend.

Hi, Our drivers should always deliver to a ground floor room of your choice unless there are access restrictions that prevent them from manoeuvring throughout the property, we are not insured to take furniture upstairs hence the ground floor delivery. If our driver did not do this for you then I am really sorry as a doorstep delivery is certainly not what we promote. I will investigate this matter and speak to the driver concerned to ensure that we always deliver to a ground floor room of choice for every customer.

Gorgeous furniture! I'm absolutely delighted with them. 4 stars,because I've requested 2 men for delivery, as I have lots of spiral stairs and won't be able to help. Only one turned up and I ended up helping the man to deliver to the room of choice. Being a small built woman it was very hard for me to do that. That was my only disappointment.

Hi, Thank you for your review and I am so glad you love the furniture. As advised on the website and on the order confirmation and subsequent e-mail we operate a single man delivery service in order to keep the delivery charge as low as possible so as advised there is no option for a 2 man delivery service though our drivers will place the furniture in a ground floor room of your choice and if you select unwrap the driver will unwrap and place in position for you.

The quality was good. I thought it came assembled but only the legs had to be screwed on. One of the screws turns and doesn't tighten but not a problem.one leg does not quite align. Having said that it is exactly what we wanted including the colour. Brilliantly packed.

Certain items such as dining tables, benches and a few items with slim legs require the legs to be attached at the time of delivery to avoid damage in transit but we do send a delivery guide to advise how to assemble such items. If there is an issue with a leg we would be more than happy to resolve this for you so please contact us and we will advise of the options available for you.

Hi, The highest standard delivery charge is £19.95 regardless of how many items you order so as long as you check out all your items on one order you will never pay more than £19.95 for a standard delivery. We have also reduced our delivery costs in recent years despite rising fuel costs so hopefully our customers will still see the delivery fee as good value but thank you kindly for your feedback which we always value.

Received a damaged wine rack. Only offered a 10% refund or replacement. 10% is not an appropriate refund for damaged goods. My son (birthday present for him) wanted to keep the item as it had nice grain on the doors. I asked for a filler and was directed to B&Q! Cost of filler would be most of the 10% discount.

Hi, I am really sorry that there was a small cosmetic flaw on one of the wine rack sections, the items are all QC checked by a team in India and as such issues like this are rare. We offered you every possible option in this event, exchange for another one which would be unwrapped and checked for you prior to delivery, collect for a refund or take a discount and you opted for a discount, the e-mail trail was very pleasant with no indication that you were unhappy with any option offered. We do not stock or sell wood filler so in response to your query about wood filler we offered advice that it can be bought from high street retailers very cheaply, I have found a natural colour wood filler for £4 at this retailer so significantly less than the 10% refund received. If you are still unhappy we are more than happy to extend the offer to exchange or refund the item for you so please get in touch if you want another option as it is really important to us that every customer is really happy with their purchase.

Hi, I am not sure if our e-mails have been filtered to your spam as all customers receive an automated e-mail immediately after ordering and then a personal update from the sales team, your order was placed on the 20th May at 16.08 and our personal e-mail update was sent out on the 20th March at 17.02 by Georgia. You have then received a text and an e-mail from the delivery team on the 28th May offering you a delivery slot well within the 10 working days we quote for delivery. I hope you are able to check your junk/spam and see our communication.
