I’ve ordered three sets of plates in the last eight months from this company and paid for adhesive pads in my three orders. Not one set of adhesive pads turned up even though I paid for them. The plates are as expected.

I’ve been waiting over 15 days for a refund. Multiple lies told on email on when i’ll receive my refund, and now my emails are being ignored. As my emails are being ignored and they have no contact phone number, I will be requesting a chargeback via bank.

You supplied illegal plates. With no spacing between the letters and numbers of a 3 x 3.

Number plate letters started to crack, my fault!! Apparently not supposed to drill plates!!? Done this for 25+ years never had a problem, wouldn't replace " not under warranty" used these guys for years, all good up until now, won't use again.

They show a picture on their website AND on the order acknowledgement of one type of plate and then supply a different one. They also do not have a phone number available. A bunch of losers, so beware!

Delivery options were provided at different prices, 2day was selected due to arrive Friday. Did not arrive the Monday, this caused major disruption the weekend plans as the car could not be driven. Contacted supplier and they accepted no responsibility. Unreliable supplier - will not use again.

Absolutely awful. Plates arrived damaged & have already began to fade. I've had issue with Plates For Cars in the past and have been emailing them for two years. Still no reply. PLEASE READ TRUSTPILOT REVIEWS as these reviews on TrustedShops are filtered

I was caught out by unclear delivery timing when placing the order. Expecting a delivery by a certain day then to get an invoice minutes after placing the order showing 2 days after my expected date. I immediately tried to cancel the order but was told it was too late? Be aware...The plates are shipped from Eire so need to go through customs. No doubt however about the quality of the plate: very good. But sadly I had to get a plate from elsewhere due to a MOT schedule.

The goods were excellent quality , the postage was included but probably expensive and the company dealing DPD were abysmal and the tracking as bad. As these are car registration plates maybe try a different postal option

Ordered a set of plates and ticked the box requesting a legal font. Although I ordered a shorter plate due to the length of my private reg I expected and assumed the size of the letters was legal. I ordered a new plate and asked for a refund for the illegal plate. So far they haven’t bothered to replay so I am out of pocket, as well has having the hassle of dealing with a Defect Rectification notice from the Police.

I paid for £17 for a next day delivery, It was delivered to the incorrect address after 4 days i received the parcel i requested a refund for the deliver of £17 there said they will speak to DHL STILL WAITING

Plates delivered but colours not as ordered. Company said due to distortion in backing. No warnings on site this effect.

Plates good, delivery time not so good. Bought on 9th didn’t arrive until 15th.

I placed the order online for my car plate, but my neighbour found my plate in the evening; I wrote to notify the company to cancel the deal and ask for a refund. All these things happened during weekends; no one supported me for a refund. On Monday, I wrote another message about a refund, but no one responded until I received the plate on the third day.

Order received with incorrect coloured details, have contacted platesforcars by email with photos of number plate showing WRONG COLOUR and have tried telephoning 2 numbers and it is always engaged, even at 3am, NO RESPONCE AT ALL. Do not even think of buying anything from these scoundrels! 14 days money-back guarantee? - PHAH; absolute SH1TE.

Plates are second to none and of excellent quality but are very expensive when you add postage, vat etc. I can purchase he same plates from a local plate maker for much less, but I have the hassle of providing the necessary paperwork and of course the spacing of the numbers / letters is not negotiable.....
