For this price to have to fill ourselves? With tiny balls that are rolling away the moment you look at them? If you can prefill Plastic bags, why can't you refill chair itself? 1*. However if it would come prefilled, I'd give 4*. Comfy, I like the material. Colour selection could be a bit wider. And for a 1.80m tall guy, back rest could be a bit taller

love the quality of the corduroy material hate the fact that it is virtually impossible to get the polystyrene balls inside ! wouldn't buy it again because of that

The ordering and delivery experience were good. The product is very poor. It is not easily noted that the bean bag has to be filled up by the customer. The polystyrene tiny balls go absolutely everywhere even with following the instructions to the letter. They are static and stick to everything. Took over 3 hours to gather them all up and put them into the bean bag cover. The bean bag does not retain it's shape and the photos on the website are misleading. We bought one to see how it was and we had intended to buy 4 more. We bought the additional bean bags from a competitor where they arrive pre filled. I would not recommend and would not purchase again from Big Bertha.

Was nothing like it looked in picture. It cost too much, was not aware you had to put polystyrene balls into the beanbag yourself as it does not mention this on original Posting about the product.....its flimsy, now I'm stuck with it, as not allowed to return. Its awful! Do not buy! False information and pictures provided. Not happy

While the product is well made, it is one big space inside and so the beans just spread out everywhere leaving you sitting on the floor and the sofa falling backwards. I was told by big Bertha that it appears to be fully filled when I asked about it. And the size is more appropriate for a child. I have now made this the most expensive dog bed in the world as I cannot sit on it.

Don’t buy unless you are a masochist who loves cleaning and have a choking death wish for your 3 year old. You have to put the “beans” in the chair yourself. This is stated on the site - but buried in at the very very end of the description and just says “assembling required”. Not only do you have to put the beans in, they are made from polystyrene and come contained in a plastic bag. Whoever came up with this idea obviously didn’t pay attention in school physics - since any attempt to remove said beans from the plastic bag automatically charges the beans with so much static that they literally physically escape your hands as the static causes them to be repelled. This makes filling the chair (even after watching the instructional video) without the majority of the balls spilling everywhere next to impossible. I also bought the chair for 3 year olds plus - anyone with a small young child will likely know have that having tiny statically charged polystyrene balls floating around the floor in your house is probably the most dangerous health hazard for a 3 year old. Do not buy for a young child. Get a pre-filled one from Amazon instead.

Appalling choice of delivery partner. I wouldn’t pay DPD in chocolate buttons. Would never buy from Big Bertha again while ever they use DPD. Also, not enough beans……the amount you put in should be a choice based on preference, not a cheap base amount. The bag itself is good! Generally disappointed.

The beans don't stay in any of the right places so it ends up like a blob which my daughter struggles to get into.

Did not realize you had to fill your own bag with the beads supplied! What a mess with beads all over house. Should have been filled at warehouse not in customer's home.

I received this product and was immediately disappointed with the presentation as the beanbag needs to be ‘assembled’. The polystyrene balls is in a separate bag to the casing, and despite best efforts, it is a very messy exercise as the filling goes everywhere. At this price, I would have expected the bean bag to come ready for use. The material of the casing was also quite poor and does not have the quality I would expect for >£100. I had then decided to return for a refund, but have received no correspondence after nearly 2 weeks. VERY disappointing!

You have to fill the bean bag yourself!!!! Been trying for an hour now and still not done, tiny polystyrene balls everywhere. An absolute nightmare product. Would never have bought if I had known!
