The footstool is great, although slightly lower than I anticipated. It was really frustrating trying to fill it with the beans though, it took many attempts to get them in and many ended up on the floor. It would have been easier to do with another person, or even better still if it had arrived already filled. I wouldn't have wanted to pay double for it, the offer said it was half price and it was the absolute maximum that I think it is worth. I've a feeling it will look a bit deflated within a short time, but for now it is doing the job.

The item was not as described. Not enough filling provided & even after buying more filling, bean bag looked nothing like picture on website. Received 10% refund

Provide more filling - had to go to customer services and request another box as what was supplied wasnt enough. They did this quickly and without any fuss.

For this price to have to fill ourselves? With tiny balls that are rolling away the moment you look at them? If you can prefill Plastic bags, why can't you refill chair itself? 1*. However if it would come prefilled, I'd give 4*. Comfy, I like the material. Colour selection could be a bit wider. And for a 1.80m tall guy, back rest could be a bit taller

Size not as advertised and filling not as expected

love the quality of the corduroy material hate the fact that it is virtually impossible to get the polystyrene balls inside ! wouldn't buy it again because of that

The ordering and delivery experience were good. The product is very poor. It is not easily noted that the bean bag has to be filled up by the customer. The polystyrene tiny balls go absolutely everywhere even with following the instructions to the letter. They are static and stick to everything. Took over 3 hours to gather them all up and put them into the bean bag cover. The bean bag does not retain it's shape and the photos on the website are misleading. We bought one to see how it was and we had intended to buy 4 more. We bought the additional bean bags from a competitor where they arrive pre filled. I would not recommend and would not purchase again from Big Bertha.

The sofa didn't look as described. When i added the beans it was so saggy. They did provide another bag of beans which has helpful but the arms are still quite floppy and the sofa can take anymore beans. It's also not as comfortable as expected.

Was nothing like it looked in picture. It cost too much, was not aware you had to put polystyrene balls into the beanbag yourself as it does not mention this on original Posting about the product.....its flimsy, now I'm stuck with it, as not allowed to return. Its awful! Do not buy! False information and pictures provided. Not happy

While the product is well made, it is one big space inside and so the beans just spread out everywhere leaving you sitting on the floor and the sofa falling backwards. I was told by big Bertha that it appears to be fully filled when I asked about it. And the size is more appropriate for a child. I have now made this the most expensive dog bed in the world as I cannot sit on it.

Not what was advertised, will be calling soon to talk about this. £200 is excessive for what I have received quite disappointing. I suggest you change the image in your website. It’s a misrepresentation of the product

Don’t buy unless you are a masochist who loves cleaning and have a choking death wish for your 3 year old. You have to put the “beans” in the chair yourself. This is stated on the site - but buried in at the very very end of the description and just says “assembling required”. Not only do you have to put the beans in, they are made from polystyrene and come contained in a plastic bag. Whoever came up with this idea obviously didn’t pay attention in school physics - since any attempt to remove said beans from the plastic bag automatically charges the beans with so much static that they literally physically escape your hands as the static causes them to be repelled. This makes filling the chair (even after watching the instructional video) without the majority of the balls spilling everywhere next to impossible. I also bought the chair for 3 year olds plus - anyone with a small young child will likely know have that having tiny statically charged polystyrene balls floating around the floor in your house is probably the most dangerous health hazard for a 3 year old. Do not buy for a young child. Get a pre-filled one from Amazon instead.
