I'm still a loyal customer regardless of the things you have change on the website which, in my opinion, have been changed for the worse. For instance, now to book a flight the choice states the price as "from £..." and when you click it's a lot more expensive than you thought it was. Then, in order to look for the real price you have to go one by one instead of having the whole selection by date and real price at once of almost the whole month as it used to be. Also, now it's more confusing with the choice of light, standard and flex. If you go by the price and click on light, it tells you you cannot buy luggage at this point so you don't know how much it's going to cost you afterwards. By then, you change your first choice and look for another date or price. If you change your mind and try to go back to the first choice, invariable it is more expensive than the first time you clicked on it. I don't think you are really trying to get the best service for the customer but you do manage to confuse and alienate them.

The webpage for paying via Visa debit wouldn't load properly, so had to pay via PayPal for which there is a charge. Also, my partner booked her ticket on the App and was quoted a cheaper price than my online booking for exactly the same date and trip, how is this fair!

We were refused to board the flight at Heathrow to Johannesburg despite being at the airport 2 hours early. We had checked in and everything so it was in your system that we showed up. Despite that your system was showing we didn't show up and blocked us from booking the next flight to Paris. This was not a holiday, we were going to a funeral of my brother who died unexpectedly and is a loved father, son and brother. You have the most evil supervisors/manager at Heathrow. I am going to make sure the world knows how you treat your customers.

I never travelled to Congo Kinshasa , the Embassy did not issue me a visa,the requested £510.00 for visa, £135.00 for visa, £250.00 for having British passport and not born in Congo, £25.00 for one day visa and £100.00 for a cover up of a stamp was missing on one of the death certificate, they delayed all process to another two weeks then couldn't travel again, I then applied for cancellation and money being reimbursed up to now ......airfrance has not done it yet. I'm still waiting for the money to be reimbursed.

While Boarding

While booking, no information was given about having a visit visa of connecting flight. I was travelling from UK to Morocco and the connecting flight was via France. They didn’t let me go through and told me that can’t even take the France connecting flight without France visa. I wasn’t interested in coming out of France airport but they said that even for connecting flights, I need the connecting country visa. It cost me £500 and none was refunded. All the blame was put on me that I have to check rules.

Horrible experience and will take a train before i ever purchase another Air France ticket. I will row to my destination before flying with Air France. Sitting on the plan le with no update just for them to cancel the flight. When we got off there was no one around to tell any of the passengers where to go . They then booked me on a flight the following day that was no longer direct (even though my initial flight was direct). No hotel voucher only a voucher for airport food .. horrible

Very delayed flight, so we missed our connecting flight. Stod in line 1,5 hours (10.30 p.m.) to get a hotel voucher, and got a hotel 40 minuts away in taxi. Got bus vouchers, they wouldn't give us a taxi voucher, but no buses went to the hotel, so we had to get a taxi anyway, and pay 90€ each way. Got 4 hours sleep, before we had to leave for the airport again, to get to the flight they had rebooked for us.

Air France and KLM Rip off

Having been given a discount code by AF and another by KLM, only the day before booking, only to be told neither was now valid, makes a mockery of this airline's trustworthiness. During the booking process, the fare went up, went down and went up yet again, all while the site was failing to complete the booking. If I really want to feel valued, it will not be through booking with AF/KLM Dreadful service

So the app wouldn’t allow me to pay for my flight with a credit card. I was able to pay with a debit card which i wouldn’t do! I then rang and the man on phone couldn’t honour the price on the app and I just had to keep trying it go onto your site via safari. That did work but then within the space of 1 he the flight price went up by £100!! Absolutely disappointed with the terrible customer service.

Technology issues

Website wouldn't load multiple times and kept crashing and rebooting at the payment stage. Called the helpline as advised, was talking to an advisor who was very helpful but then got disconnected. Called the number multiple times and was constantly waiting in a queue and then disconnected again. Luckily the website was up a few days later but very frustrating and bad initial opinion.

Your booking team could not book the flights I had on line (which I had a price for) They told me the Ncl-Paris flight didn’t exist even though it does, I was booking a multi city ticket. We ended up ha ing to change dates and pay more. Your contact thought Guadeloupe was part of french mainland!!! No idea of geography and English poor. I am disgusted at the level of service

Bonjour je suis très déçu de air France car j' ai eu trop de retard sur mon vol allée comme retour 3h à l allée et 2h au retour en plus je suis allé sur le site de air France prendre mon billet d'avion au point d avoir une assistante en ligne mais pour un billet de 680€ je suis retrouvé a payer 100€ en plus et je trouve que c est de l arnaque merci cordialement

It is a disgrace to have to pay extra to ensure your family can travel together. Many families cannot pay the exorbitant charge that would add up to. Leaves families stressed … when a trip should be enjoyed… waiting up until the open seating time to sit together. I’ll just let the stewardesses take care of the kids.

Overpriced

I could not have enough time to complete my booking therefore price went up 10 pounds each time I had to start a session again . This happen within 30 minutes.I find this no ethical to take advantage of a customer who is just taking its time to book by charging more and more when fees are already high

I started the booking process for a ticket costing €165 and then the process will stack at the payment option and not go further. Restart the process again and the price increase to €195, go the payment option and then stop again. Third attempt with a new price of€225 and finally it worked !!!

Your system wouldn’t allow me a name change. I paid about £588.00 for the two tickets. I had to cancel and get a refund. I then got the tickets elsewhere for £388.00. So your company lost out on £588 and I got it cheaper elsewhere. Simply because you couldn’t change the name on the booking.

Been travelling for business to Paris recently and opted for Air France for the reputation. However, on one occasion I was 2kg over limit within the economy and I was asked to 55euros . I found this not fair or paragmatic fro your side given I paid nearly£ 400 for the trip

Email confirmation arived with so little info as reservation number. No flight number, time and dates, passager names etc. When i try to see my book in your site, it simply doesnt found it. And when i try to get help you somply doesnt respond (by whatsapp or chat any way)

Better customer service because I am waiting for a fecund of my previous booking with air france . I was informed that I will receive my refund within 3 to 4 weeks but it's more then 6 months and I have not received anything untill today .

Flights cancelled with 1-2 hours of making the booking

I Booked a flight to Paris CDG on route to Rennes and within 1-2 hours they had cancelled it and rebooked me to a flight I could not use as I had already booked train tickets to match the flight that did not show up as air/rail options

Air France refuse to refund me for flights it cancelled

Air France cancelled a flight and gave me a voucher which they said could be refunded if not used. We did not use it but now they say it's not refundable. By law they have to refund us as they cancelled the flight, not us.
