Excellent rapid service, all items safely packed and in perfect condition. I've tried some wines, cider and beer. I find the beers and cider the best substitutes. The wines could do with more description to allow comparison with ordinary wines - eg the sweetness rating on whites, tannin levels on red etc. Some are ok, but others rather like inferior grape juice. All a bit of a stab in the dark, I'd have been more selective with a bit more foreknowledge. However, will try again soon.

I’ve bought beer & single bottles of red wine from Dry Drinker before. This was the first time I bought a mixed case of wine at £15 a bottle. The first white we opened with guests was disgusting. It tasted of sherry vinegar. Customer services first response, albeit very prompt, I’ll give them that, was - send it back yourself, tell us when to expect it & when it comes in we’ll refund you. At that price point it’s simply not good enough. Very very disappointing, I’m afraid, from a company I used to respect for doing something different.

I did 3 stars as my husband liked the beers. However they are supposed to be gluten free. I tried 1/2 can of Athletic and 1/2 can of Infinite both say gluten free and within 24hours I had a coeliac rash, my daughter tried some she had a very upset stomach. I was torn to drink these as wheat is in the ingredients but it’s says GF. The Free Damm, does not have wheat and I’ve drunk many times and had no symptoms. I would not want any other coeliacs or people with GF /wheat intolerances to try these beers. It’s not good for our health as coeliac disease is an auto immune disease!

Thank you for your message - I wanted to assure you, all our Gluten Free beers have been certified as per UK requirements, meaning they dont contain more than 20 mg/kg (ppm) of gluten outlined by the European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 41/2009 This regulation ensures that products marketed as 'gluten-free' are safe for those with coeliac disease and gluten intolerance to consume. Delivery fee is high. I also thought I’d ordered some different beers to the ones I received - perhaps the website silently replaces the chosen beers if you choose more than 12?

Non alcohol wine is still dull.

I’m really not convinced by non-alcoholic wine. Brought a sample case of seven bottles. Tried two so far - dull dull dull. Stick to water, cola, ginger beer, and non alcohol beer - which is decent these days. Plus Dry Drinker isn’t the cheapest.

Wrong beer delivered with dodgy ingredients

I ordered a low carb beer as a gift. I have just visited the person who received my order and it's the wrong beer! Not low carb, and worse, it's a beer containing ingredients that are potentially unsafe eg rhodiola. I would never have ordered this! About to contact Dry drinker myself.

So far the white wine tastes like apple juice and the red wine is like a berry cordial that has a bit of a fizz to it!

Great idea but I found the site difficult to navigate around adding more than one item to send as a gift. I scrapped order but send a gift voucher instead

Price and delivery

Items are far cheaper elsewhere, and offers at drydrinker don't always make much of a difference. Better value would be a huge improvement. Delivery is fast but too often my boxes are dropped down at the doorstep in a way that scares me for the bottles inside.

Very disappointing

We have drunk alcohol free drinks for the past five years. Our introduction to our delivery of our selection from Dry Drinker is very disappointing and hard to describe them as wine.

Bought a whisky substitute, tasted like very sweet apple juice with a hot pepper added, bit sickly, went down the sink. Nice bottle.
