The order I made was despatched quickly and collected by the couriers you use and it arrived in the UK alright but everything has gone wrong from there. UPS the UK side of the delivery are totally useless. They have not delivered the package yet and it has been in their hands since 08/08/2023. They are blaming a Customs hold up in the release of my delivery. They have so far sent me 14 stupid messages telling me that the package will be delivered the next day but nothing happens. It appears that the UPS staff in the UK and their computer system are totally useless. Do not use UPS UK for anything. I have made 2 phone calls to them and the staff in the UPS office just keep telling me that the package needs Customs clearance for a £14 lens hood!

Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Firstly our first order with the company does not show in our account, having been assured it would be fixed straight away, it still does not show. The items arrived and so far seem ok, so we made another purchase giving them the benefit of the doubt. BIG MISTAKE. Having identified our email address had been added incorrectly and not being able to update it via the website, we were told they would fix it straight away, we are now locked out of our account. The second order we made got stuck in customs, it was very clear from the UPS tracker this had happened, having contacted Photospecialist the first day it did not arrive we were told they would fix it straight away. The next day the same thing happened, it was clear the item was still stuck in customs. We contacted their support again and after around half an hour wasted time found out not only had the previous support agent not even bothered to contact UPS, they were refusing to speak to us and refusing to give UPS a telephone call. The person responsible was hiding behind one of the girls who was speaking to me (Who we thank for trying her best) they were literally refusing to speak to us and sending messages to and from via this poor girl who was landed in the middle of all this. Our emails regarding this subject were all ignored and we received no written response regarding the issue. We were told we would be called back in two hours with a solution, when that call happened we were told they still had not contacted UPS. We went back and forth for over an hour trying to get the person dealing with this speak to us, who continued to refuse, and trying to get them to agree to pick up the phone and contact UPS. We were continually told it was impossible for them to call UPS, a straight out lie. I informed them multiple times all they need to do is pick up the phone and call them, they continued to refuse to do that, and the person responsible continued to refuse to speak to me. Bearing in mind this is how they treat customers that have spent nearly 1000 GBP with them in the last 3 weeks. We contacted UPS ourselves, and within 5 minutes had found out the item was indeed stuck at customs, and that it should be arriving tomorrow. Instead of Photospecialist picking up the phone to try and resolve this, it took two days of being messed around before we finally got the answer ourselves. Photospecialist gained and lost a customer within the space of 3 weeks due to their pathetic customer service (Aside from the girl we spoke to). Do not buy with this company, their company, website and customer support is an absolute joke.

A nightmare but it was resolved. Ordered the Sony A6700 dispatched in a day and ups tracking said arrived in the UK 🇬🇧. Then the problems started for 2 weeks issues with customs eventually it sorted its self out and it arrived with the lens. Very well packaged and the customer service was a little slow due having to wait for reply’s from UPS. I’ve ordered multiple orders from here before and this is my first issue.

The web site gives confused descriptions.

The web site gives descriptions partly in Dutch and partly in English!!! The currency is not displayed. Stirling or Euros? Queries are never thoroughly read. Product depictions need to be from all directions. Just the manufacturers view from the front is not enough. It needs to be possible to search by manufacturers code alone. Prices are generally but not always competitive. Delivery is usually prompt.

Good website and product selection, poor delivery service.

The website and product selection was great. I wanted to purchase a large printer as a surprise Christmas present for my partner as she had wanted the printer for a few months but had held off buying one until the new year to see if they would be reduced in price at all. Dispatch was quick from Photospecialist and I was notified who the carrier was and when it would be delivered. Awesome service so far. This is where the great service ended though. UPS were the chosen carrier through which I have had things delivered before and they've been great, this time though, not so much. I was informed by UPS that I couldn't change the delivery day until the 1st attempt and someone would have to be in to sign for the package, fine. Or they would attempt to deliver to a neighbour, again fine. If my neighbour wasn't home I was going to rearrange delivery for a day I would be home later that week. During the morning of the delivery day I received an email to say the item had been delivered to my address, which was a surprise. And the surprise continued when I looked at the picture of the delivery and it was left on my doorstep for the world to see. Not only had UPS left the very large printer on display for everyone to see, but Photospecialist hadn't bothered putting the item in another box and so you could see exactly what it was. And this is where yet more fun continues. My partner finished work before me for the first time in a long while and of course she got home to be greeted by her Christmas surprise. The most annoying thing about it all, is that we have a cupboard literally right next to the front door, in which there was more than enough room for UPS to have left it out of sight. Awesome work UPS and Photospecialist, I won't be using your services again.

Great Product, Delivery was Iffy

I ordered a Canon G650 printer from Photospecialist, which works great, very happy with the quality and it was the cheapest price for it that I found online. Two negatives however: The order was delivered by UPS, and their customer service is terrible. The website linked in the email I received from Photospecialist took me to the US site, which meant for ages I couldn't figure out why the tracking wasn't working. UPS has no way of rescheduling delivery, which meant that I was really worried they would try to deliver to my house and just leave it outside on my busy street as I wasn't in on that day. Fortunately they reattempted delivery the following day instead but then that delivery just left it outside before I could answer the door! They also left it on its side, not the right way round, which can be fatal for a printer! Please please change your delivery supplier away from UPS, they are dreadful. Secondly the product arrived with an EU plug (not UK), which I hadn't realised would happen. It would be nice if they warned you of this, given that its a .co.uk website (though I presume the company is European?). Printer is great though.

Not an UK company.

Not an UK company and it shews. Many product descriptions are mixed language. Disaster. It is normal for multidirection pin sharp product shots in the 21st C. Bizarre for a photographic retailer with access to photo stacking gear. Ideally, dimensions and weight should also be included. As is common, no-one really read my initial complaint. "Speed reading" is a mistaken vogue from the 60s/70s. Leave it there. Yes, my previous teams included technical writers. The best were Dutch! If someone sees fit to describe a problem, apologize and fix it. Don't skate over it or try bribery. This is a common problem. I am still awaiting a response to two further questions! Prices are good, service not to my standards

Prices are good and the product was well packaged but I wouldn't ever order from them again. Shipping to UK was £9.99 and I was given a delivery date which I waited in all day for. By 7pm the item hadn't come and all I could get was a chatbot, which said the item was still due to arrive. It didn't come and when I emailed Photospecialist the next day I felt the response was not helpful. Due to the weekend, I had to wait until the next week with no clear info on why the original delivery did not arrive when I checked UPS tracking. I felt a lack of interest from the person who replied by email from Photospecialist, and after wasting a day waiting for the delivery, I would not recommend them

Overall a good experience

Despite concerns over some negative reviews I personally found the experience very good apart from one thing which was the way you enter your home address on the website. The address selection web source is a bit flakey and should allow the user to manually enter their address because the customer knows the correct format for their country. But the delivery company had no problems and successfully delivered. The goods were fine and new and at a better price that all other suppliers showing that the goods can be sold more competitively. I would use them again

How nice to read that you wanted to give us a chance. We are aware that entering the house number on the website is not ideal, That's because the address details are made more for Europe. I ordered a printer online

I ordered online, but when I tried to add a different delivery address from the billing address. The system repeatedly tried to put in a Birmingham address that I had never heard of. Finally deciding that the address was this time correct, I continued with to order, only to find in the. Confirmation that it had substituted the Birmingham address. After contacting and getting conflicting messages from customer services this was eventually sorted out and the printer delivered to me within a week of ordering..

After buying the item on the website I started reading online reviews of Kamera Express which got me pretty freaked out. I saw a lot of comments calling the shop a scam etc. At least in my case everything went quite smoothly. I got the product within the time specified and it was as described. The downside was that there was no email confirmation of purchase or tracking info.

Delivery Issues

Need to make it clear where items will be shipped from. It seems that my item came from abroad (USA?). Received confirmation of shipping on the Friday, UPS advised delivery would be Wednesday - didn’t arrive. Went to UPS tracking which said it was being “relocated”. Parcel finally arrived on the Friday afternoon, unfortunately after we had left for our holiday.

Late, late, late

Order due to be delivered on Wednesday (delivery firm web site); didn't arrive, changed to Thursday. Thursday: didn't arrive, changed to Friday. Friday: didn't arrive, changed to "we'll let you know" when we can be bothered. ** update ** On reading my review, the firm has refunded my delivery charge. It may be that they're decent, let down by a rogue unhelpful employee and poor delivery.

Great price but poor communication. Item did not arrive as specified. You responded quickly to my 'where is it' query with reason and that I would receive tracking info when dispatched. Item was delivered 3 days later but there was no dispatch or shipping info sent. No real problem, just would have been helpful to know it would be late. Item as advertised and I am happy with it thx

In spite of a few negative reviews, the price was just too good to ignore. The item was showing out of stock but I was still able to place the order. I received the invoice on an email, and received the package after about 10 days. My only criticism is that I didn’t receive any communication that the item was dispatched, but it arrived well packaged and was exactly as described.

Almost 5 stars

My only reason for four stars is that the info on UK customs fees was wrong on the website (I.e. the website said UK customs would apply when in fact they didn’t). Obviously this is good news for UK residents, but it took a couple of calls to the retailer to find out that the online info was wrong. Otherwise a really good experience, good pricing and fast shipping.

Poor shopping experience and delivery

First of all, the website is very slow and placing an order takes a lot of time. You would also need to pay extra for delivery and unfortunately, the delivery was two days late and the packaging was extremely poor. The package arrived damaged as pictured. Overall, shopping from photospecialist was a very poor experience. Update: The customer service was outstanding.

They helped me add an additional item to my previously placed order thereby avoiding extra shipping costs. I received projected despatch info on 9 Dec but no further update until I chased the order on 14 Dec; goods still not despatched at this time. With the delay in customs I only received the goods on 20 Dec nearly missing the Christmas deadline for this gift.

Please review your shipping methods/partner. Besides the fact the camera wasn't packaged very well, DHL was too lazy to ring my doorbell and brought it to a pickup point. When I got there, the shop keeper only asked for my first name and grabbed my £900+ parcel off the top of a stack of boxes (pic attached) in the middle of the store, there for anyone to grab.

Excellent product and price but a bit disappointed

Excellent product and price. Just a bit disappointed with delivery dates (it took nearly 2 weeks from order to arrive in the UK but I guess due to black Friday sales and issues with UPS clearing customs it took longer than expected. Also the item didn't come in a sealed box, I could see a couple of very little marks as if someone had opened the box before.
