I have bought many, many items from Peter Hahn and enjoyed wearing them very much. Much of their stock is above my price range but careful searching through the Sale pages is often rewarding. It's been particularly good of late when an extra 30% was being deducted from the sale price. But now I learn that the firm is no longer to trade in GB and clothingI'm quite devastated by this

I would usually give five stars but recently I ordered 3 pairs of jeans. The website said that all were in stock. After some time waiting, I made a call and was told they were waiting for one pair. I hadn’t asked for them to be sent together so asked that the two in stock pairs be sent immediately. I waited another couple of weeks, nothing. I called again. They were still waiting for one pair but the two in stock had still not been sent. I cancelled the whole order. Something seems to be happening, we were unable to track the status of orders online. It will be a while before I order anything again

Some of your telephone ladies are incredibly and genuinely warm and helpful. Some of the men are helpful. P Hahn is reliable and trustworthy and I love some of the offers. Some clothing has become bizarre. They have constant catalogues and are looking for new ideas. At 5 feet 11 inches I should prefer more 36 inch skirts and dresses. The nylon tape around your cardboard packaging invariably cuts into the box and distorts it and can leave it partially open

Nice shoes, terrible delivery service.

A few days after I placed my order, I received an email saying that, due to 'system changeover ', my order was delayed. It eventually arrived nearly 3 weeks after I ordered. I was offered 'compensation ' in the form of a voucher for £20 off a full-priced item over £75, but I was not inclined to give them any more of my money; a refund of the £4.95 postage charge would have been much more appropriate.

The clothes are fabulous but…

The clothes are fabulous, well made and well designed, especially for a tall woman. However, the website is not wonderful with issues over card payments not being accepted, without it being clear what had happened. In addition their communication is poor, far more email updates would resolve apparent lack of progress. Also, returns take a long time to process and the wait for refunds is very lengthy.

Ordered two sweaters mid April. As they had not arrived by the beginning of June I phoned to see what had happened. The member of staff was extremely helpful, explaining there had been a fault with the computer system. I received one sweater a few days later but no explanation about the other item. Peter Hahn’s clothing is very good quality but the customer service could be better.

Their delivery timescale is poor, much poorer than others selling similar goods. They need to improve upon these timescales or be much more upfront with their service delivery capabilities. From researching their 'feedback', they obviously have a major problem with 'customer perception', which does not instil confidence in their ability to timeous deliver their products.

Mixed views

The clothing is of excellent quality. Unfortunately the time taken to receive the goods is far too long & I often feel that I want to cancel the order. I have currently ordered things to be worn on particular occasions & have been most disappointed not to receive them on time, I am still waiting to receive an item which was ordered in May.

Delivery is too slow purchases can take up to two weeks or more. Your on line redeeming code claimed so far never worked I am having to ask by email for refund. Only to be told by rerun email that I was too late and will be refunded if I keep the goods. How by emailing again to inform you that I am keeping the goods? Not a good system.

My wife is a great fan of all the fashion especially her latest purchase of a twinset along with her other items over a number of years and will continue to do so. Very good quality. On the trouser level 28" does not suit petite it should be around 27" to suit smaller person. Keep up good work. Thanks Alex.

Peter Hahn has an excellent website & is incredibly efficient once an order is made. Most items are actually out of my price range but there are frequent opportunities to grab something nice. I especially appreciate having such stylish items in bigger sizes -- many ranges only go to 18 max.

Improve delivery times and communication relating to orders placed especially if there's a delay. an example is an order Ive had since August and whilst instructed it may be out of stock but to pre order if it becomes available have never heard anything.Would be good & helpful to know

Good quality clothes, but my goodness takes approximately two weeks for delivery and if the goods are returned the refund takes for ever!! Certainly put me off buying from them especially when other retailers are much quicker in delivery and refunds.

Could get no reply when phoning to place order. Tried on 3 consecutive days. Explanation was changes in system! Previous order for jacket never arrived on phoning told it was on way but item never delivered with no explanation.

They need to improve customers recording of purchases online. More reference to purchases made. Also the need to swap an item for a different size in the same transaction i.e. return and exchange at the same time.

Disappointed that I had to go back to find out about my order 3 weeks on. Email thereafter telling me it would be into January as out of stock. 3 days later the order appeared.

Discount offered on next purchase not this one.

I don’t like apps and online stores that offer you a discount and then move the voucher to your next purchase, knowing there is less chance of actually having to honour it.

Returns look too formal

I gave this 3 stars because the item I purchase was a bad fit for me and the returns policy looked extremely formal and as if there was doubt about getting my money back. It is in very legal jargon regarding a contract I entered into with them etc etc. Certainly not User friendly and would make me hesitate to order from them again. At the moment I do not know if I have got my money back.

Too many delays!

I ordered items on June 1 2023 and as yet they have not been received although they “were in stock” at time of ordering. Such delays are not uncommon with this company although this is the longest I have experienced. The company have still given no date of delivery. Pity because the goods are usually of good quality but the delays mean I tend now not to order goods from it.

I placed my last order on 18 June. The website said delivery by 23 June ( I was a little surprised by the short delivery time). When nothing arrived during the first week in July I called PH only to be told that my order wasn’t even in stock and there was no chance of me receiving it. Not much of an apology but rather blaming a new computer system being installed.
