From order to delivery of the MeacoDry Arete One 10L dehumidifier was less than 24 hours - fantastic. I was particularly pleased that there was no delivery charge. The unit looks good, is very quiet and easy to use, and collected impressive amounts of water in our large cold rooms during recent dank weather. We appreciated the helpful booklet - so many manufacturers these days just refer you to websites for instructions. Not so with Meaco. Another great feature is the ease of use of the company's website, where I registered the product to confirm our warranty. My final positive comment about the website relates to the background and values of this UK company. The feature "Our Story" details this, and allows you to understand why Meaco has won so many awards for its products. Why go to a distributor when you can buy direct with such a quality of service?

I purchased 2 rather expensive dehumidifiers for our home use, they are rather heavy to lift and move about because the caster wheel feet don’t come with the product and you have to purchase them separately at another expense to me , the cost being £49.98 for 2 sets for the 2 dehumidifiers I’d purchased, I think I’m being rather generous giving 3 stars when realistically 1 star would have also be to higher score, shall we say the stars are for the product and not the fact that your company sponged another £49.98 for something that should come with the product complete, I’m guessing that i wont be the only person to mention this in a review, do the right thing and refund the cost of the casters, regards Len Aaron

The Amazing.... MeacoDry Arete® One 25L
Amazing, Excellent, Fantastic...Much better than I hoped it would be.
Amazing.....Had really bad condensation problems with the North Facing windows. Using in 5 Bed 3 Floor House, it is left to run overnight in the Hallway (Ground floor) no condensation on any of the windows in the morning. Does not even need to run all night, as only turns on as required.
Excellent....Indoor Drying is incredible, with the 25l version a full 12kg washing load dried in a smallish room with door closed in 4 Hours.
Wow, just wow (undies, socks, t-shirts, etc in 1-2 hours) clothes actually feel better than outside line dried.
Fantastic...Have definitely noticed that when I have to turn on the C/H, that the house actually gets warmer faster than it did before and it stays warmer for longer after it goes off.
Buy one now before they are sold out.....oops
Buy one when they are back in stock.

Excellent purchase! The dehumidifier arrived the next day and was extremely easy to use. I have placed it in my hallway as it’s the most central place in my home (2 bed detached 30 year old bungalow). In 5 days it has brought down humidity levels by 10% and I’ve noticed the difference in air temperature all around my home, and a really annoying draught I had seems to have gone. It’s plugged in 24/7 and is constantly working. I’d say it’s costing about £1 a day to run at the moment, however once it’s got humidity levels under control I expect this to lessen. I’d recommend this product.
