From order to delivery of the MeacoDry Arete One 10L dehumidifier was less than 24 hours - fantastic. I was particularly pleased that there was no delivery charge. The unit looks good, is very quiet and easy to use, and collected impressive amounts of water in our large cold rooms during recent dank weather. We appreciated the helpful booklet - so many manufacturers these days just refer you to websites for instructions. Not so with Meaco. Another great feature is the ease of use of the company's website, where I registered the product to confirm our warranty. My final positive comment about the website relates to the background and values of this UK company. The feature "Our Story" details this, and allows you to understand why Meaco has won so many awards for its products. Why go to a distributor when you can buy direct with such a quality of service?

I purchased 2 rather expensive dehumidifiers for our home use, they are rather heavy to lift and move about because the caster wheel feet don’t come with the product and you have to purchase them separately at another expense to me , the cost being £49.98 for 2 sets for the 2 dehumidifiers I’d purchased, I think I’m being rather generous giving 3 stars when realistically 1 star would have also be to higher score, shall we say the stars are for the product and not the fact that your company sponged another £49.98 for something that should come with the product complete, I’m guessing that i wont be the only person to mention this in a review, do the right thing and refund the cost of the casters, regards Len Aaron

Product (dehumidifier) very good but...
Product (dehumidifier) very good. Required urgently following a flood. Product promised AM next day but not received until the Monday (ordered Friday). No service from meaco over the weekend (they are closed) and all we got was "not our problem, dpd are responsible ". Not good enough. Meaco promise delivery next day, dpd are working for them not us! Also might have been nice to have the extra £5 for next day AM delivery refunded !

It’s legit, but.. you cannot log in to see invoices, order history etc. they are answering your emails in more than 24-48 h ( they say in 10 working days). When you order a product you don’t receive a receipt/ invoice/ proof of purchase it’s better to spend 10-20 more and buy from amazon.In that way you will have a free return within a month and an invoice.

Not clear on website which HEPA filters are for which dehumidifier. There should be a link on the dehumidifier page. I bought the wrong ones but they are unreturnable as I opened the packet before realising they were wrong.

Very disappointed!!
Unknowingly ordered the wrong item,not realising this I'd opened the bag,after emailing meaco was told I could not return it!! Correctly ordered the correct item and now £29.99 out of pocket.

For health and safety reasons this product cannot be returned if the plastic bag around the HEPA filters has been opened.

The dehumidifiers do the job, but they tend not to last more than a couple of years - although admittedly we run the pretty constantly.
Spare parts service for replacement water trays was prompt and efficient.

When buying graded saves you nothing!
The graded dehumidifier was £10 cheaper than brand new, a very small amount. So, I was disappointed to find that Meaco do not send the graded unit out with a hepa filter which you get as standard with a brand new one. To buy filters from Meaco costs almost £10 each so I am mystified how buying a graded appliance from Meaco makes you any savings at all. If I had known this I would not have bought from Meaco direct.

Product is great.
Ordered before the 5pm deadline on Friday and paid extra for Saturday delivery. Arrived Sunday. Full day wasted waiting for delivery. Yes I was able track it but assumed something wrong with tracking status as it didn't change till Sunday

Meaco unable to supply parts
Contacted Meaco due to my desktop 360 fan USB connector breaking, asked if i could purchase a replacement part and they do not stock them. £70 fan is now destine for the scrap heap because I cannot repair it. It’s only a couple of years old. Would be nice to be able to repair now it’s just plastic waste.

Using DPD as courier a VERY BAD IDEA! I was out when they delivered and instead of leaving the filter in a safe place they dropped it off to *their* collection point which was a petrol station two miles away in the next village! Even when my son took the card to collect they asked for a QR code (not everyone has a smart phone) and asked for ID to collect. Worse delivery experience ever :-( Free delivery not worth the time and hassle. Good company and good product let down by appalling courier.

There was a lot of firms to fill in before I could return my faulty product.
Item was dealt with very promptly once returned and was told a report on the machine would be forwarded to me. This has never been received.
