Quick delivery from Meaco, very impressed. Good little fan, nice and quiet as advertised and works really well in my toddlers bedrooms to keep them cool but not awake! I initially thought I should have gone for the next size up considering the price difference however, after a week's use, am content with my purchase and hope they will last a long time.

Bought a new Meaco MC 10000 air conditioner without heating function. Received dirty, bloodied used one with heating function. Returned, still waiting for refund. Would never buy direct from them again!

Still haven't had my order. 6 days late

Website states a free cover with every 1056 fan. What it does not say is this does not include the 1056p. I have contacted them to ask for a 1056 bag so that the fan will be protected from dust when not in use as the 1056 and 1056p have the same body dimensions. They will not send one. The fan was cheaper elsewhere I only purchased direct because of the offer of the free storage bag. Customer service is poor.

Quick delivery from Meaco.com. The fan itself is really good, really does shift the air around the room creating a lovely gentle breeze making everyone feel cooler. Very energy efficient DC motor in fan, almost imperceptible energy usage measured on the smart meter after one day. Very quiet operation, just sounds like a strong breeze on higher speeds or eco mode, however my fan has developed a slight rattle/vibration noise when oscillating after one day's use, mildly annoying that sounds like my old conventional fan. Not sure if this is a fault or normal, maybe I'm just being fussy. The remote control for the fan is reasonably well made, but very poor in operation, very limited range, when the fan is oscillating the base (containing the infrared receiver) turns side to side so you have to wait for it to face you before operating the remote and even then it's a bit hit and miss. Quicker to get up and use the control panel on the fan, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a remote , a better quality infrared transmitter and receiver/or receiver location could have been used like the ones used in decent quality TVs etc, instead it's very similar to the remote for my £5 fairy lights, disappointing remote at this price point . I like that the remote can be stowed on the front of the fan, just wish it was actually useable. If you're after a fan that genuinely makes the room feel cooler, is very quiet and costs very little to run thanks to the much more efficient DC motor, then this is it, however if you intend to use the remote regularly or need to operate the fan remotely because of limited mobility etc, I would look elsewhere. Hopefully the remote issues will be fixed in future versions, as this is the fans only real letdown. The pedestal version of this fan has a few extra modes available, it would be nice to see those modes on this version, especially if like me you didn't realise those modes weren't included on this one, not a deal breaker, just confusing. Was quoted £20 to send some filters to NI, when this is free elsewhere. £20 is acceptable when sending a machine but not for some filters. I contacted customer services regarding this but there was no flexibility shown or acceptance that the charge was excessive. This is an issue which should be reviewed by Meaco (regarding small items) as these items are part of the ongoing customer experience and use of the machines. I'm happy with my machine but think Meaco can really do better in this regard.

Works well but noisy but it does the job worth the money

The product looks good and although I didn't buy this for the heating but it seems like there is a slight flaw in the design is hosepipe needs to be attached and a bucket to collect water before using this option is not of good design. Hopefully I have read the instructions wrong

Packaging. Boxing items properly to avoid damages to the parts. This will minimise customer's stress caused as a result of this.

Product was great and exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. The only issue that I had was the correspondence from Meaco regarding delivery and the actual delivery itself. I ordered the product with next day delivery. I then received an email from Meaco saying that the product was out of stock and would be sent within 10 working days! I wasn't best pleased about that but there was no option to get my money back or query anything, the email just said thanks for your patience! I then received another email saying that email was sent in error but DPD had not collected my parcel so it would be delivered on the Saturday (it was being delivered to a work address and we do not open Saturday's!) I tried to change the collection with DPD but was unable to so ended up having to go to work on my day off to wait for a parcel to be delivered!
