Really pleased with the Arete 10L, perfect for my 1-bed Annex. I’m not good with following instructions, but they were easy to follow and it was soon up and running. Laundry mode is really effective. I love the design of it, particularly the handle! I put the castors on and it moves around easily and not too heavy to lift if needed. Only suggested improvement is the font size in the instruction manual could be bigger, otherwise 10/10!

Speedy delivery. Used for a week to try to reduce damp on a bedroom wall. Easy to set up and working well so far. Recommended by family member.

Dehumidifier arrive promptly and is an amazing bit of kit. Clothes are dried really quickly and the water tank is designed so that it's easy to get out, doesn't spill a drop as you transfer it to the sink and then you just tip it up and it empties.

Really good advice from my two calls to advisors firstly about the best machine to buy and secondly about the running of the machine. We are also extremely impressed with the performance of the unit. We like the fact that it purifies the air as it draws out the excess water. It is quieter in operation than other dehumidifiers I’ve had even from Meaco. From this experience I would definitely buy from Meaco again.

We’ve had the Arete 12L for about a week now; our previous Ecoair having given up after about 15 years of good service. Can I say, delivery was exceptionally fast, thank you, it arrived the next day. Wow. So far, so good. Like: The led display showing the current %rh although I might be becoming slightly obsessed… It’s as quiet (or noisy) as our previous dehumidifier. We’re glass half-full people. I have slept with it in my bedroom once and it didn’t keep me awake as it’s a low hum…white noise? You can turn the lights off so no glow at night. It’s on castors so it’s easy to roll on hard floors. It’s not a tall thing so even with the handle up you’d not want to be wheeling it very far. The on-board cord storage. Hurrah! We do tend to run it in specific rooms rather than leave it running 24/7 as at the first sight or dry weather we open the windows. So far, so good at extracting litres of water pretty quickly. My only negative comment is the weight of it, it’s heavy ish for me…it won’t be for others so this a purely personal comment. If you’re planning to leave it on in one place, then not a problem. Oh, and the castors are hidden in the water tank…it took us a few minutes to work out ‘bucket’ is the water tank and then prise the lid off 😂
