Good Components at Affordable Prices. I like the fact that I can order modern components in unit quantity, though I buy in pairs in case of future need. This enables me to fix equipment with a track record for reliable service and simplify the original designs. The order process and delivery is extremely efficient. My only caveat is that the design specs do not really provide the detail I would like in terms of full dimension data and an example circuit for me to be sure the component is suitable for the purpose I have in mind.

I purchased an item that was advertised as being in stock. It took several days before I was contacted by the business to be inform me that there was no stock. I was asked whether I would like to keep the (paid) order open or wait (for an undisclosed amount of time) for the item to be available or cancel my order. A credible business does not advertise products in as being stock unless it's readily available for dispatch. Nor do they wait until they discover they can't source it either, before contacting the customer. I reserve 1 star ratings for businesses which fail to issue a refund, in which case I open a dispute case with a third party, eg PayPal. So, this is a two stars rating, only because they refunded the amount I had paid without longer delays.

Thanks for the review. A little harsh perhaps! When we come to the end of a stock line there can be items that are lost or damaged. You ordered on Friday pm, problem was identified on Monday and passed to me. Tuesday was the first day I could let you know due to sickness. You were refunded within an hour or so of your answer to us. These are now back in stock but we refunded you as made it clear you were not prepared to wait.

Excellent delivery time no instructions

Excellent delivery time but NVR switch arrived with no wiring instructions whatsoever. I could not find any instructions for the product on their website and had to revert to YouTube.

The item description does not match the photo

After searching for this item I came across the Sinotec website which had a photo of the exact item I needed, sticker ledgends with white symbols on a black background. When I received the order, the item sent was white symbols on a clear background. I checked the website to find that the item description did not match the photo, my fault for not noticing this which was in quite small lettering when viewed on a mobile phone screen. I feel this was misleading however, and I’m disappointed that I’ve wasted 8 quid on something I’m not going to be able to use

Hi. Sorry to hear you are not satisfied. We had to take the picture on a black background in order to show the images as they cannot be seen on a white background. These are intended for use only with our marine rocker switches which are black. I’m afraid I really can’t think of any other way we can shoot these images. We state in the text that these are white on a clear background.

I ordered a couple of bulbholders, and sadly they were incorrect, my fault, and so asked for a refund. But hadn't realised they were made to order items, as on the page they showed a number in stock, so assumed it was a standard item and so therefore fine for refunds. Think this needs to be made clearer for the customer to avoid confusion

Très déçu, des frais de douane non annoncés sur le site ! En effet, un achat de 4€ + frais de port 6,45€ ok mais + des frais de douane en plus, ce n'est pas honnête ! Par principe j'ai refusé de payer les frais. Je demande le remboursement de ma commande ! Pascal B

I’m sorry that you feel this way. We are a small shop and this situation is the result of BREXIT. We are too small to provide any other service to Europe. Most of our customers are businesses so they accept this situation. We only have 2-3 small orders to Europe each month. The only alternative is for us to stop all sales to Europe as many other small shops have had to do.

Expensive postage costs

Product price was good but sadly overshadowed by expensive postage costs especially on small quantity orders.

Hi. Sorry to disappoint. We have one shipping cost for all orders under £30 and the rate charged covers the average cost of shipping, packing materials and picking costs for the order. Orders over £30 have free shipping.

Hi. Sorry to hear this, but this is only 5 working days after shipment for an international order sent on a standard shipping method by post. This timescale is normal as the goods need to pass through customs before reaching you. I hope you receive the delivery soon, but, depending on the speed of customs this could take several more days.

Thank you for the review. Your order arrived shortly after making this review so all is resolved now. The order took 7 days to arrive with Royal Mail. I do apologise for the slow service from Royal Mail.
