Absolutely awful experience. My mower arrived with missing parts. I contacted them immediately via phone, was advised to email in, followed their instructions. They ignored emails, were difficult to get hold of on the phone, didn't take any of the action they said they were going to. After nearly a week of waiting for them to send the missing parts they still hadn't so I decided to return. Again no communication, didn't acknowledge the return, and didn't refund despite stating they would. Had to go through PayPal disputes to get my money back. Avoid these lot at all costs and go to literally any other supplier!

Competitive price but very slow delivery and lack of status updates

Almost 4 weeks from order to eventual delivery due to a catalogue of issues including 'damaged in transit', tracking number system malfunction, missed carrier SLA and poor customer service/communication. Required 4-5 phonecalls to establish latest situation on an ongoing basis and was then finally told to speak to the carrier direct when the item had shipped and the 48 hour delivery SLA had been missed (eventually by 4 days).

Customer care is shocking, I emailed and called a number of times try to find out where my mower was, The email received had a subject line saying order dispatched and I should expect to receive my item in 4-5 working days, when it didn’t arrive I emailed and got no answer and then called and was promised a call back that didn’t come, I called again and was told my mower was not in stock and it would be another 3weeks. If I hadn’t chased it up I would never have known any of this. The mower finally arrived after 4weeks. Great product just awful customer service.

Half a loaf is better than none.

I ordered a wheel assembly. Just to check that this came with a new hub, washers and split pin I called the organisation. A recorded message said that they do not take calls in relation to parts and that I had to email. My gardener said "it must come with them, it's an assembly". I took the risk and got a wheel in a box, that fortunately had the tyre on it. Luckily, I rang another supplier who sent me the items immediately to enable me to fit the tyre the next day.

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The product description does clearly state "Wheel and Tyre Assembly" and as you say that is exactly what you received. There is no mention of a new hub, washers or split pin on our description as these parts are specific to the various models of mower that this wheel assembly fits and need to be purchased separately. Poor communication over delivery

Ordering was very easy on line and I am looking forward to getting my new mower however apart from an order conformation have heard nothing from them, which is a bit concerting, when you have paid a lot of money. I emailed them to get an ETA for delivery and was told it takes between 1-4 days and I would get a dispatch and tracking email. These times scales have now passed and despite a follow up email t them I haven't heard anything back from them so still no mower

No oil received with mower

As part of the order there was a bottle of oil included in the price. I reported that this was NOT included when mower was delivered. I have since communicated several times via email to explain that the oil has still not been received. The response so far from the sales team is that it is always posted separately. Once again I have let them know nothing has been received. I also note I am not the only customer to raise this complaint. What I would like is for the oil to be received or a refund for the same.

Overall I scored it good, but gave one star less due to one item not being sent at the same time as the other two with all 3 items being on the same order. If something is on back order that's fair enough but there wasn't any communication to advise me which lead to me emailing them. Not a major issue but something I thought I'd messed up. Overall though, good pricing, genuine parts so would definitely give them my business in the future.

Delivery issues

I’ve had to give only three stars because we had so much trouble with your delivery provider - DX. The mower was scheduled for delivery on a Thursday but did not arrive until the following Monday, and even then not at the time we were promised. We spent a number of days in the house, waiting for deliveries that never came. We had to phone DX to find out what was going on.

Mountfield MTF 66 MQ-827M

Item arrived in the suggested time scale but would liked to have had more updates on order progress. The battery charger that arrived with it is unusable as it has not got a 3pin plug it has a 2 pin round plug. Satisfied with the product apart from the incorrect charger.

Wide variety of mowers. I felt communication could be better because there was a delay in my order and the responses I got were different each time I phoned. Once the problems at Mowers Online were resolved, what ever they were, I received my mower very quickly

Lack of communication

Once placed order never heard anything for several days, I called them and they said it’d be with me in a couple of days, still nothing then chased again. Finally arrived.

The petrol can was not delivered with the mower! You really do need to be able to obtain petrol with a petrol lawnmower. Just saying!!

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. You ordered a lawn mower and starter kit from us and as you will appreciate both these items come in large boxes. Unfortunately during delivery these boxes can sometimes be separated in the carrier network and arrive on different days. We could put everything into one huge box but that would require a huge amount of additional cardboard to be used (not very environmentally friendly) and it would add significant additional cost to the product which most customers won't pay for.
