Very pleased with mower, ease of purchasing and speedy delivery by DPD.
This mower was not the cheapest option but I read various reviews from different places and it came out on top. I hope it will prove as reliable as my last small electric mower (Flymo but the same model was no longer available anywhere. Time will tell. That is the problem with reviews isn't it? Performance of things like this and longevity can only be reviewed after say a year and NOT at the point of purchase!!!
Absolutely awful experience. My mower arrived with missing parts. I contacted them immediately via phone, was advised to email in, followed their instructions. They ignored emails, were difficult to get hold of on the phone, didn't take any of the action they said they were going to. After nearly a week of waiting for them to send the missing parts they still hadn't so I decided to return. Again no communication, didn't acknowledge the return, and didn't refund despite stating they would. Had to go through PayPal disputes to get my money back. Avoid these lot at all costs and go to literally any other supplier!
Would have been 5 but it was covered in oil because the delivery driver damaged the box and broke the bottle of oil in the box

Scratches on a new lawn mower
The Mountfield mower was delivered with several scratches, when I reported this I was asked ‘which panels are damaged’, we will send replacements - not ‘please return the mower and we will rectify’. Mowers-on-line blamed the courier, yet there were no marks on the packaging and the positions of the scratches led me to believe that they were not due to movement in transit. I was told that all machines were given a PDI before dispatch - this I very much doubt, as the damage was clearly visible. Finally, there was a grey moulding in the box with the mower, an image of which was in the instructions, but no information as to what it was or if it had to be fitted, then where and how to fit it.

Held my payment for weeks.
Told me that the mower was on its way from their warehouse.
When it didn’t arrive on the delivery day I called them and was told that they didn’t have any.
Then had to wait 5 days for a refund.

Absolutely terrible. Said had in stock and that it was sent, got an email saying it was not in stock, now three weeks later, not had anything, will never use again. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

Gave up and went out and purchased SAE30 oil.

We need to point out that we have already sent you two replacement bottles of oil and very strangely both have not been delivered to you. As a result we have raised a complaint with Royal Mail and asked them to investigate.

Wrong cable supplied, asked if they could supply the correct one. No sorry was the answer we can not source one! If they had looked on their own ebay listing there is the exact cable. Just a bit lazy imo. Good comms, good delivery, Item supplied was great but wrong. Shame really but that is my true view of this seller.

Mower arrived quickly after sales very poor
Mower arrived the following day good delivery found one of the books was missing also the start button was sticking phoned Mowers on line and spoke to the receptionist she said that they were out of stock and would send one when the new stock arrived , I asked about the sticking start button and would like to speak to one of the service engineers she said that he was out and would phone me on Monday I did not get a phone call so I phoned late Monday morning but could not get a reply phoned mid afternoon got no reply that was a week ago think that they could improve on there after sale

They need to improve communication.
Things I didn’t like
They need to improve communication, it’s very poor, no replies to emails, no dispatch emails the item just turns up at your door, with it being large deliveries you should be informed of delivery date and time so you can make sure someone is in. I rang up and kept getting cut off when selecting the option I needed to chase up collection to a faulty mower so I rang from a different phone and got straight through. They said they were waiting for Cobra to arrange collection and estimated the next week. I rang Cobra myself and they collected the next day.
Things I liked
Delivery was super quick.
When you got through to staff they were pleasant and polite.
I ordered a totally different mower via mowers online but still awaiting the refund of the original faulty mower.

The garden tractor arrived in good condition, there was no communication whatsoever though. I received my receipt once purchased, I had to email them 5 days later to see when delivery would be, was informed that Cobra would be in touch with delivery times which did not happen. Received a call from my wife saying a truck had just arrived out of the blue with it. Communication was very poor.

Easy to order on line but obviously issues with their chosen delivery company. Poor communication from the delivery company and let down on 2 occasions.
Not sure if Mower has had a pre delivery inspection as no sheet enclosed so unsure if the mower is OK to use. Tried calling(waste of time) and emailing(still waiting for a response.)
Overall great price but poor after that.

MOL used a third party to supply direct to me. They did not chase up the supplier and did not communicate that the supplier did not ship the product. I had to chase them each time. Finally received my order after 16 days.
Faster response times for customer correspondence and following through where the orders are direct from the manufacturer or distributor.
I ordered two items, an EGO multi tool Head and a hedge cutting tool to go with it. The hedge cutter arrived within two days which was excellent but the multi tool head which powers it still hasn’t arrived after ordering it on the 30th of July, it’s now the 13th August. Payment was taken at the that time. No mention was made of it not being in stock.

Errors and Contact
A mower was supplied with a smaller battery than ordered (and that was £70 cheaper). Contact has been difficult (e-mail not answered, long wait times on phone) and have promised to rectify the overcharge - so far after 8 days, still waiting.

Speedy delivery however part delivered not correct even with images of model/serial number sent. Correct part sent out quickly however still awaiting refund for first part ordered. Would still use confidently.
