As a first time customer I found the site user friendly , clear and easy to navigate.
I changed my plans to be available for DHL delivery slot as a signature is required. I received a mobile message stating delivery had been made. I saw the van driver drive off, without ringing my doorbell or leaving any message. I eventually got through to DHL on my 3rd attempt, then discovered my wine dumped at the side of my house. Not impressed.
I ordered 2 bottles of port. One, Maynard's 1992, had a seized cork which crumbled at the first attempt to remove it. I then managed to extract it bit by bit, in about 30 pieces altogether, and having to push in the final part. I have tried filtering the emails but small particles of cork still appear in the port. I have photos.
Rejected my order as nothing in optional county field. Took my discount code VWP10 and applied but did not discount cost of goods

Dear Richard,
A fragile cork is very common with older bottles, where the liquid has been in contact with cork for a long period of time. We recommend that the pieces of cork should be strained as part of the decanting process, this can be done using a muslin cloth which will not allow any small fragments or sediment through. These recommendations are reiterated inside the booklet that comes with the bottle.

After ordering, I heard nothing from the team, until I searched for the tracking. then I learned that delivery was attempted but since No one was home the package was returned to the depot. There is no way to contact the Shipper? I asked the team for help and have yet to hear anything.

Thank you for your comments, and I am sorry to read you did not see the email we sent on Monday the 20th of May (three working days after your order was placed) with your tracking details. We can see delivery was attempted to your address in the United States on the 22nd of May and, as you say, no one was home to sign for the delivery and the parcel was returned to the depot. You emailed us on Friday the 24th of May after working hours and as it was the Bank Holiday weekend in the UK we have just got back into the office. I can the team has replied to your query this morning and contacted the depot on your behalf, we now await their response.

No problem at all with the product or service. Very good. I had paid extra to have the gift delivered specifically on my Son's birthday though and the company were let down badly by DHL who actually delivered it 3 days late.

Bottle labelling.
The bottle supplied which was a 1978 vintage port was a gift for a friend. the bottle looked totally different to what was ordered from the website and looked really tacky compared to what was pictured.

We are sorry that the gift box arrived damaged and we were unable to ship a replacement box to arrive the next day as our courier had already collected the outgoing parcels. Instead, we action a refund for the gift box, the only option in this situation. We do hope the recipient enjoys their lovely Graham's Port.
