Limbo products were recommended to me by the hospital after breaking my wrist and being in plaster. I found the ordering process easy, the products arrived within 3 days of placing the order and the product was fantastic.
I have since recommended them to my brother for use over his dressings on his leg and he has also found the product to be effective.
What I like is the range of options around sizing. My brother is over 6ft and big, the sizing chart on the website catered for what he needed and he uses the half leg cover everyday.
I also found the product easy to put on and made life much easier when having a shower. My brother has carers who assist him and they find it easy to use too.
Having used the products for many years I now notice that the black elastic seal breaks quite quickly and the seams split near the top of the product, why I do not know but never had this ossue before but this seems to be happing more
The plastic sleeve allows you to shower with a plaster on. Great. Although it is very robust and keeps the plaster dry, my husband can’t squeeze shower gel using it. It’s thick plastic so not very flexible.

It was easy to use, although does feel a little wierd to start with, i.e. it felt like water was incoming, but always a surprise to find the wound dressing dry.

Very good product with prompt delivery and a good service team. Maybe me but they don’t seem to last as long as they used to before splitting along the seam.

Very good product, it definitely works well in the shower. It's a bit expensive though, many families would probably consider this an unaffordable item. Shame it's not available free, or more cheaply, through the NHS. It's a bit tricky to remove too but that's testament to how secure the seal is. We will try to donate it to school once his arm is healed in case others could make use of it.

Half arm protection
I ordered this late afternoon after having the cast fitted. It arrived the following afternoon - impressive delivery service. Used it as directed and worked well. Not easy to dry yourself before removing it so would have liked a softer or more rubbery material - couldn't use the hand inside the protector.

The Limbo waterproof protector is an effective solution to the difficulties of showering with a compression bandage for gravitational leg ulcers. The elastic cuff is comfortable and, for me, completely stopped any water leaking down my leg.
The company provides excellent and prompt service with the dispatch of the product.
The 12 week guarantee seems spot-on. The seam on my first Limbo failed three days after its expiry.

Arm limbo
You definitely need someone else to help you get it on and off (mine is the half arm Limbo) but it was great to be able to get into a deeper bath without having to hold my arm in the air wrapped in a towel! I was worried that it would fill with water so I was hesitant at first about letting my arm go in the water but it was great.

Pleased with the product but disappointed that it didn’t arrive by the guaranteed time of 9 am as I paid extra to have it delivered by that time as I was in a wheelchair and unable to get to the front door and arranged for my son to be at home to take delivery.

Works well to kept arm dry in shower
I have a PICC line in and this was recommended by hospital staff
You do have to be careful putting in on or taking it off to not catch line
I would say that this is a must have device .

I broke my ankle and ordered the stocking for my shower,it says order before 4 p.m and receive it the same day, I ordered it on the Monday and didn’t receive it until the Wednesday, I was a bit disappointed,when I used it,it was excellent.

Item arrived guaranteed next day delivered as ordered my royal mail. My waterproof foot cover fitted ok apart it wasn't quite totally waterproof as top of my dressing was damp. I will use some cling film to stop this happening again
