The customer service is great. When DPD failed to deliver and refused to provide a contact number, Moonlight was able to get the delivery re-organised within 24 hours (when DPD had initially offered to try again in 5 days time. Their products are lovely as well. I wouldn't shop anywhere else for lighting.

Ordered a lamp. You sent an email stating it was out of stock and would be delivered in November. 2 days later I receive an email stating my lamp has been delivered but it's only the shade, not the lamp! Apparently my account is now closed.... nope. A £100 pound lamp has not been delivered just a shade so I want the base or a refund!

Apparently my account is now closed.... nope. A £100 pound lamp has not been delivered just a shade so I want the base or a refund!

We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the missing lamp base. As discussed over the phone with you this morning, we were unaware that the manufacturer had dispatched just the shade on its own. We are raising this issue with them immediately and will keep you updated on the resolution. Rest assured, we are committed to providing you with the complete product as soon as possible.

Some criticism of the product shipped

Delivery was good although no notification from Moonlight was received. Although the web site specifically asked for the variant requirement (long or short pin) the opposite variant was received. One of the bulbs had a white powdery deposit on both surfaces of the plate - although seemed to function as expected.

Thank you for your feedback. We are keen to resolve the issues mentioned and would like to apologise for the missing dispatch notification. This sadly, was due to technical problems with our supplier's warehouse (which have since been rectified). Regarding the LED pin length, can you confirm which size you received? We'll ensure you get the correct ones. The white deposit you referred to is likely "thermal paste" used with replacement chips. Please kindly respond to our recent email so that we can resolve this matter for you.

Light Damage

Light delivered with slight damage to fitting cup. Product looks good and was delivered on time. Just the disappointment in receiving a product which has been damaged.

If you believe this to be a fault with the product, please email us with images of the suspected fault for us to investigate. Regarding returns on un-damaged, non-faulty items, it's outlined in our terms & conditions that we do not offer free returns. This allows us to keep our products affordable.
