I particulrly like the idea of knowing what could be causing symptoms and putting the information given within the report into effect by following exclusion diet ( for short length of time ) = well worth it ... I have tried and been helped and am faithful to periodic testing because of my very sensitive system. All thanks to everyone and I must add that the Customer Service team are way Above and Beyond being willingly help~full. Thank and Praise.

After ordering my test, following the instructions provided and sending it back, I received an email stating there had been an error with the test in the lab, and I had to re-do the test. I waited three weeks for the test to arrive but didn't receive nothing, and on following up on emails, I had no responce (that made me feel that I had been scammed as a customer). On my third follow up, I finally got a responce and requested a refund, but was still left out of pocket as I had to originally pay for the test to be sent back Tracked and Signed for (£6.90). Very disappointed in this service, I hope no-one has to go through what I did.

Satisfied with the service but query the results

Satisfied with the service, ease of submitting hair sample, quick results and communication, also liked the detailed breakdown of results but I don’t believe in the validity of test results. Items I know I am intolerant to were not flagged at all which I find strange, meaning I didn’t trust the other results.

4 weeks and still no results or communication

I have ordered mid January and have still not received my results. Once I received confirmation that my test has arrived it took 7 days to get an email to inform me that there was an error with my sample. The error was implied to not have enough blood to test, however, the sample card was supplied as requested. I was offered a replacement kit directly from the lab, however, I had to chase them three times to get confirmation on said replacement. Customer service from Test Your Intolerance wasn't helpful and have only "highlighted" this with the lab itself. Another week of back and forth, I received confirmation that the replacement kit "will be sent off soon", which took nearly another week to arrive, and offered fast-track testing - once my sample has arrived. The replacement kit, assuming as it came from the lab and not Test Your Intolerance, was slightly different and did not come with a pre-paid envelope, meaning I actually had to pay extra to send the new sample off. I have sent a new sample off on a Monday as recommended and have yet to hear if it has even arrived - it is now Sunday. I am now on week 4 of waiting for results with poor communication and customer service and still none the wiser. While I appreciate this problem seems to be mostly with the lab itself, communication between the lab and Test Your Intolerance seems to be non-existing as I had to sort everything out myself. Considering the price I expect better customer service.

Absolute nonsense. Shows intolerance and allergy to everything I was consuming few days prior to taking the test. Did not pick up in actual intolerances I have confirmed previously through proper blood tests. A joke not a test: Exactly same thing happened to my friend.

I’ve had no help about how to do the samples except a rubbish email from support it’s not explained I still need a plastic bag to be able to provide it I don’t know where to get one this is so specific it’s useless

Need help to decipher properly

I suffer with Fibromyalgia and my cognitive skills are not good and it’s taken me a while to get a GP appt. I want to go over your findings with a nutritionist so I can be guided how to get the best out of it. I have serious gut problems with IBS, Diverticulitis and Lactose Intolerance that I know of so find it difficult eating the right stuff. Hopefully once I can get the nutritionist’s help this will have been invaluable

There was too much information. It showed I had an intolerance to many many things. When I first read the details I felt shocked and wondered if I should stop eating all those things about 90% but then realised that was impossible.

A dissatisfied customer service experience

Whilst the test results provide some interesting information I will need to spend time understanding exactly what they are saying. The labelling of the results are not that clear to me in some cases e.g. Green beans. Does this mean all types of green beans? The main reason the low rating is that; There was no return envelope in my pack and it took several days to receive a reply to my online contact asking about the return. I was advised to send further information so it could be recorded as a non-conforming pack. I did this but at no time was an offer made to send me the missing envelope which resulted in me having to pay £1:50 to track the return. I then had to contact yourselves again as my results had not been received. They were apparently stuck in the system! At this time I said about the tracking cost too and an apology was made and a refund has been processed. It was not a good customer experience.

Our envelopes contained in the test kits at the time of purchase were not pre-paid and this £1.50 return postage charge was the purchaser's responsibility. waste of money tests are not accurate at all which is absolutely pointless sure you’d get different results if you sent it 2 samples at the same time under a different name

I am pleased to confirm our blood testing is completed using the medically recognised ELISA method of testing for IgE allergies. Repeatability for this method of testing and our blood IgE testing is >99% and samples sent at the same time for the same person would produce the same test results provided as long as the samples were taken at the same time and no dietary or medication changes had been made between the taking of the two samples. On 13th September you reached out to our 24/7 website LiveChat to discuss your test results. Unfortunately, our LiveChat team is unable to discuss your test results in detail and they escalated this to our senior support team after you expressed an interest in a 30-minute consultation with our nutritional therapists. Our senior support team contacted you within 48 hours and supplied more information on purchasing a 30-minute consultation to discuss your test results, as you did not purchase this as part of your order. We have not yet received a response to our email ticket. Despite several messages, my account still says " awaiting hair sample" from 19th Sept even thought my results arrived shortly after. Also, the " Healthy stuff " app which you get access to is not available.

Good service but I’m not sure about the results… The test was sent in good time and the directions for completing it was clear. Unfortunately I was not aware that I should stop taking piriton for 5 days before the test. So I think my results were skewed.

While we do recommend stopping antihistamines and certain types of other medications prior to taking your sample, in the case of antihistamines, this is just a precation. The test kit was unusable due to missing elements. I would also suggest that the instructions for use are reviewed as the current leaflet requires a medical degree to understand them.
