We live in North Yorkshire and found this wonderful furniture store whilst visiting Bath…….what a find ! An amazing selection of traditional and contemporary furniture, displayed beautifully over many floors. Sally, a most pleasant sales lady, helped us to make our choice of table, chairs and sideboard - her extensive knowledge of all the ranges was so helpful and her input most valuable and welcome. Delivery was arranged by Stuart ( of dispatch)…..so lovely to speak to an actual person - who was charming and most accommodating. Our furniture arrived yesterday, transported and delivered by Sam and Jake who were most pleasant and helpful…… even though the trip took them almost 5 hours , they assembled the table and demonstrated how it extends and then positioned everything as I requested- nothing was too much trouble and we are delighted with our new furniture…..it looks perfect in our new kitchen diner. Many thanks to the whole Hays team…….it has been a joy to shop with a company where customer service is their priority……..we'll definitely be returning soon !
Our ordered bed settee was originally due to be delivered at beginning of Dec. 2023. It was delayed by the manufacturer until late Jan this year. but I was only informed of this when I phoned Hayes to obtain a specific day in early Dec. I was told then that I would be informed immediately it came in in Jan. and would be delivered on the first delivery day for our area. Again that did not happen!
However I must give full credit to Frank and Rob our delivery team who took every possible care to ensure the item and our newly decorated rooms were not damaged. They took time to explain the bed settee mechanism and were both very polite
I have been buying from T R Hayes for 25 years plus! They are my number one destination when I need to replace furniture.
The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Always happy to answer questions and advise.
Delivery was made by arrangement with a personal call from the warehouse manager , and a time slot was advised on the day of delivery, so no hanging about all day. The delivery team also called me to let me know that they were on the way to me. My furniture was carefully offloaded, all packaging removed and taken away.
The delivery team were very helpful and respectful of my home.

Excellent service today from Marcus & Phil.
Had Marcus and Phil deliver our new 3-piece suite today. It was not easy to get it in through the front door. They persevered and eventually succeeded. Not once did they complain, in fact, they were both reassuring and professional throughout. I can thoroughly recommend the excellent service I experienced during this (awkward) delivery. I really hope T R Hayes and their delivery manager, if there is such a position, fully appreciate these two young men, they are a credit to your company. Please relay my thanks to them both, yours sincerely, Mr Tony Spurrell.

Like: good service in store from Ben though did not keep in touch about progress. To be competitive the company should incentivise free delivery.
Very liked: Great delivery guys ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Steve and Paul - they were incredible with my young puppy. Great service.
Don’t like: planning and organisation of the delivery. Stuart was more concerned about being overwhelmed and less concerned about what worked for the customer. I had to take two days off work because of miscommunication. Perhaps he needs some support. Though he did refund our delivery charge.

Excellent service from the time we walked in the door Will served us very helpful,friendly, and efficient couldn't ask for better service. Stuart the despatch manager rang us on the exact week they were expecting delivery with confirmation the sofas had arrived and to arrange delivery to us again very efficient and friendly was delivered on the day and time arranged by Paul and Marcus who again were very helpful, friendly and very professional. All the staff we encountered were a credit to the company would definitely recommend to anyone

TR Hayes staff were all exceptionally helpful in the sales department of the contemporary store and in the bed sales area. They have an amazing, interesting and varied range of furniture.
The delivery team of Steve and Paul went above and beyond with a particularly difficult instalment of the super king size bed. Steve was amazing and if it hadn’t been for his sheer grit and determination the mattress would have never got up the stairs. Unfortunately he hurt his back in the process and we hope he makes a speedy and full recovery

New bed ordered and delivered by TR Hayes.
When we visited the bed department to try to decide on our next bed we received fantastic knowledgeable, attentive and patient support from Rebecca. Finnaly we choose a Mammoth bed.
Just had delivery from Steve and Paul who contacted us week before to confirm time period on chosen day and then on the morning of delivery another call from Steve saying will arrive in about an hour. They moved and fitted bed swiftly, politely and moved it into our preferred position. All packaging was removed and no trace of their visit!

Outstanding service from purchasing to delivery
It's an absolute pleasure shopping here. Ben in the Contemporary Showroom is nothing short of fantastic. He was so understanding and helpful when my flat purchase was delayed and kindly helped to change my delivery date. Julia in the Bed Department was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and Paul and Nate who delivered my beds and dining table took time and trouble with getting the pieces into place. And they also called when they said they were going to! Very happy with great service.

Great Service
Over the last 10 years we have purchased at least eight pieces of bedroom furniture from our favourite Bath store, all with matching handles.
Unfortunately two of these handles snapped in half recently and we visited TR Hayes to establish where we could source replacements.
Simon at the Store took responsibility for finding additional handles, ordering them and ensuring they were posted direct to ourselves.
So pleased yet again, as my family and friends have always been with Hayes.

Exceptional care, value and service
We purchased a lift/recline chair for my mother, Steve B took us through all the options and gave great and friendly advice and information on fit, size and function, with no hurry or pressure leading to Mum purchasing the perfect chair for her needs. Subsequent delivery to the house by Steve and Paul was on time, courteous and efficient, spending time to ensure Mum understood the functions and carefully placing the furniture in the living room. Great customer service, thank you!

Our original order of floor lamps was unavailable. Ben found a replacement.
The floor lamps were delivered an assembled by Sam & Paul. I had received a call to say they would be arriving in 20 minutes, perfect timing for me to pop home from work. Sam & Paul were very polite, efficient and said if we have any problems just to give a call. Also discovered they deliver all over the country, not just in the Bath area. Lovely guys and a pleasure to have deliver our lamps.

Excellent service both in the shop and afterwards
When we were choosing a new bed Julia took us through all the options in a calm and relaxed way and answered all our questions. We felt under no pressure to make a purchase. The bed was delivered by Paul and Nate in a very professional manner. They were excellent at working out how to get the bed base round the corner at the bottom of the stairs. They even moved plants and pictures to ensure no damage was done. We will certainly be choosing Hayes again.

We needed a replacement mattress and the assistant,Sally, identified our needs, advised us on what would suit us and found a range of mattresses to choose from. She was patient, friendly and extremely helpful. We thought we would have to wait several weeks for delivery but the one we chose was found to be in stock. It was delivered today by Steve and Paul who took away the old mattress and installed the new one efficiently and in a friendly manner.

Great experience
Phil the salesperson was very helpful, ordering samples and generally knowledgeable about the suite we were interested in. He was not at all pushy, no pressure to buy the suite, and no attempt to sell us any extras.
Steve and Kris, the delivery team were great. They carefully removed our old suite and then similarly carefully bought in and assembled our new suite. Both very pleasant, professional and friendly.

As ever, a pleasant and professional experience in the showroom. We quickly but confidently found the bed which suited our needs and purse. Thank you Phill. The predicted wait for delivery was accurate. A quick phone call before hand calmed our concerns over removal of the old kit. Steve and Paul, cheerful and helpful, carried the old furniture and stored it in the garage safely to await collection from the council at a later date.

We had excellent service from your sales consultant Julia. Nothing was too much trouble she went above and beyond to ensure we chose the furniture most suited to our needs offering a range of products and she was very knowledgable.
Sam and Jake delivered our items with the utmost care and were very polite and pleasant.
These people are an asset to your company. I would highly recommend your store based on the service I received.
Without doubt the best furniture establishment in Bath and indeed the west of England, with a wonderful range of high quality items across the whole range of home furnishing. Our order recently delivered, went without a hitch, and and the delivery service (in our case carried out by Sam & Paul) was exceptional they were careful, courteous, and friendly and a real asset to the company, whom we cannot praise highly enough.....

Fantastic service all round from TR Hayes
Phil was very knowledgeble about the mattresses we were looking at, and he went out of his way to make sure we were happy with every detail, when ordering. We were also very happy with the friendly, professional service provided by Kris and Jake who delivered the mattresses, and had to carry them up to the top floor of the house. The mattresses are top quality and extremly comfortable. Brilliant serivice all round.

Great experience from start to finish
Lucy was so helpful and patient from first contact right through to order, providing us every bit of information and plenty of photographs as we dithered about our choice! Steve & Kris were professional, careful and friendly as they installed the furniture, providing useful advice as they did. We've bought furniture from Hayes for many years and will again in the future.

A pleasant and straightforward purchase.
On entering the store I was asked if I needed any help. I had looked at the Camborne furniture on line and the lady took me to see it. I would probably still be there without help. Nothing was too much trouble and we looked at a couple of alternatives. However in the end I decided on the Camborne. We then went downstairs and completed the purchase. I was told that completion would be between 10 and 11 weeks.
