I loved the fact that the results guided real changes in my diet. And these changes helped me to solve long lasting health problems, like a chronic diarrhea. I received the results super quickly and they are easy to interpret. It was great to have insights about deficiencies and even metal intolerance (I have a lot of body piercings and it will definitely help in future purchases). It would help if there was a clear note that the list of items in the results are ONLY those items I am sensitive to, as at first sight it gave me the impression that I was intolerant to everything that was tested. Also, an initial email making it clear that well not receive anything in our address, we should just go ahead and send the hair to the address - I saw some customers complaining they never received their kits, so making it a bit clearer that there’s no kit to be received would help

I did my first sensitivity check one year ago, I took on board what it said and made a few changes, spent a fortune on supplements it suggested I was low on. One year on and I retook the test, and maybe due to my own lack of understanding everything had changed. A new set of vitamin deficiencies, different foods I am sensitive too and last time I had a sensitivity to budgerigar’s and this year I don’t but do to wasps 🤷🏻‍♀️ surely you are either sensitive to things or not, otherwise how are you ever meant to conquer these things. I get it’s just a hair strand test, and not overly priced but even so how can everything be different?

Good experience so far

My wife, daughter and myself did the test and are following the guidance fairly strictly. It’s only been a month but so far so good. My daughters bloating has stopped and myself and the missus have great energy levels at the moment. I was particularly impressed with the comprehensive nature of the report. What could be improved is communication. Only my daughter got notified that her hair sample had been received and this was 3 weeks after posting the samples. For a while, I was sure if I had been scammed or not.

True or false information still fun to know.

I liked how quick the results were back to myself. I liked how it broke down every that could potentially cause reaction. Was not happy with some of the results as I have always ate or drank the item without any reactions for irritations. It did not pick up some of my problems I have in my health, but I guess not everything can be tested from hair strands... even my partner had the same result for gut biome test and digestive health results.

All possible allergies in the report but I suffered from pollen this year and put it down to silver birch not the tree mentioned in my report which I had never heard of and had to look up… never seen in the uk by the way! I have severe arthritis so am doing the slow process of eliminating the foods that make it worse and will retest later. Really easy to send a hair sample and get results all through email so definitely recommend this company

The test picked up my lactose intolerance and highlighted a few others that I had not been aware. These others, however, I am not sure have an effect on my day to day living. I have reduced my exposure to these over the past few weeks and intend to reintroduce them one by one to see the results. In addition my daughter has reduced her lactose exposure after her test and her headaches have all but disappeared.

Thank you for your review. Please be aware, our testing cannot test fro lactose intolerance. Our test is a sensitivity test and lactose intolerance, despite the name, is a deficiency in lactase to digest the lactose rather than a food sensitivity. Lactose intolerance requires a blood sugar test or a hydrogen breath test to diagnose, and will not be diagnosed on a hair sensitivity test or an intolerance blood test. Very easy to do the test and quick response time. It took me a while to take in the information. I was having problems with constant nauseous feeling. I noted from the report that I had a high sensitivity to gluten. I also took note of some recommendations, ie Kefir, which I started to take and I can honestly say that since making certain adjustments to my diet I have felt 100% better. Glad I did it!

Very quick and easy process and results back very promptly. Some results bit strange...some foods sensitive to that have no difficulties with and some that i know I don't tolerate well didn't show up at all! Also, unclear re. metals ... what they are associated with etc

Interesting results. Posted my sample by 1st class post but had to email 2 weeks later because I hadn’t received my results. Was emailed back that the sample had only been received the previous day. Received my results 4 days later.

I received only what is above 85% but unfortunately I didn’t see the whole list of 950 items that were subject to the test.. maybe a lot was not included or maybe it was and this just doesn’t give 100% confidence in this test

Overall good value and worth doing

Overall, I found it to be good value and useful. My 7 year old has been suffering from atopic eczema after having covid in 2021. He has already cut out some things from his diet but slowly the eczema came back. I didn't expect much from this test but he has eliminated some of the the things that the test brought up and it has made a huge difference. Some of the things are a bit cryptic though.

Fascinating Results

The process was slower than I anticipated. However, I imagine this is due to the speed of mail delivery rather than the systems within 'Sensitivity Check'. Results are very thorough and detailed yet easily understood as so well laid out. Lots of helpful advice to assist with moving towards a healthier diet and lifestyle. I most definitely would recommend the service.

Interesting

The tests seemed well rounded and professional. The only thing that confused me and put some doubt in me that it did not show some known tolerances i know to have for certain. To be honest my thyroid levels are up at the moment and the test have shown no issues with hormones. Maybe it's not meant to. Anyway, it makes me take it a bit less serious.

Simple process.

Simple process to follow however there is no communication from the nz branch reciving your sample and we also didnt get notified that the sample had reached the uk. We were beginning to think it was a scam. After following up from our end at the 3 week mark we all of a sudden got results within a few days.

Website use friendly to purchase.

Website user friendly to purchase. From purchase to reciept of report very quick turnaround time. Would be helpful to know the tests for which I was ok with. It says 975 elements tested however you don't see the ones you didn't have a reaction too. That is the reason I wouldn't give 5 stars.

There was an issue with completing some of the paperwork which was further complicated by a cross over of information due to the time difference between NZ and the UK. That said, the online support at initial query stage and the additional support to resolve everything was fantastic.

Took forever and an email query to get a response to say the sample had arrived. Fairly quick with results after that. Interesting results from the tests that I will have to think about. All in all they did what I paid for, albeit very slowly! Worth a try for the price.

It finally found my sensitivity that I thought was lactose but in fact was whey!! There were a few anomalies in my list though - some were things I just don’t like, which was fine. But eggs, chicken and Turkey I’ve been eating all my life without any upsets . Strange!!

Interesting results

When I eventually got round to sending of my sample the service was very quick and interesting and sort of confirmed some things that I had suspected. My only criticism was that I was expecting a sample kit to be send out rather than putting out your own labels etc.

The whole procedure of sending off the hair and receiving results has been faultless. However any queries afterwards seem to take a long time to be answered - am still waiting a response from 2 weeks ago...that is the only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars

Really helpful

Gave me a better idea of what could but causing my son to break out in rashes, after months of doctors telling us it was “viral” we have now had a referral to paediatrician to have some allergy tests done after I presented the doctors with the findings!!
