Excellent personal service. I used to buy ESE pods from The Coffee pod for many years but after switched to “Dolche Gusto” machine I stopped. I recently saw and advert for them and when I saw they sell pods for my machine I jumped straight back in and ordered a couple of boxes. I’m now coffee aficionado but I know what I like. Great choices, great coffee and the icing on the cake the customer service. I got a phone call from Anne saying one of the coffees I’d ordered wasn’t due in stock for a week did I want to wait or have something else. She asked if I wanted to choose or let them pick an alternative I let them choose and I’m so pleased with it I’ll definitely have some more in my next order. And there will definite be more orders as apart from the great coffees the price is so much cheaper than the alternatives!

As for your reply to my previous review, let me make myself perfectly clear so that you are not unsure anymore. I selected the Slovak Republic as the country of delivery only because the drop-down list of countries of delivery let me select it. Regarding the shipping method, in my first order I chose “International Courier Tracked” (see the first screenshot attached). In my second order which I placed because you had rejected the first one – without contacting me (I did not receive any message from you on PayPal), nor replying to my e-mail sent to you using your website contact form – I had no possibility to choose the shipping method, i. e. the “Courier Delivery Sunday (uk Mainland)” shipping method (see the second screenshot attached) was pre-selected and there was no option to change it to another method. It was, however, still possible to select the Slovak Republic from the drop-down list, and thus, I supposed that I would be charged with the shipping costs later on. It is just as simple as that – plus, on your homepage you state that you “ship worldwide to most countries” (see the third screenshot attached). However, the drop-down list of countries of delivery consists only of 9 countries at the moment. For your information, there are 195 countries in the world. I hope that everything is understandable to you now and I wish you good luck with your “true customers” as you called them on this site in another review reply.

Quick delivery but unfortunately I found the coffee I ordered dark roast and expresso too weak and lacking in flavour and unable to use them. Personal taste I suppose

I’ve never used this company before, I was told that my order would arrive within a two hour time slot on Friday 31/12/21. I was disappointed to find it wasn’t delivered, therefore I have to award the Coffepod Company only two stars. I don’t know to whom the non existent delivery accolade should be awarded, however, I’m prepared to review it once again when and assuming I receive my order.

Hi Joan We have checked the details of your order to try and find out what went wrong with the delivery, but it seems you selected 'Standard Delivery' which is with Royal Mail Tracked 48, if you had selected 'Courier Delivery' this is the service with a 2 hour next day delivery.

Hi Barbara Sorry if there is any confusion over working, but we use the correct terms. The Coffee Pod was developed by Illy coffee company back in the 90's and is know as an ESE Coffee Pod which is a bit like a round teabag, and is PAPER & COFFEE. Then Nespresso developed along with other companies the Coffee CAPSULE which is anything made of Plastic OR Aluminum. This is the industry classification, the problem is that now some companies are calling plastic & aluminum capsules, PODS in the advertising etc. which is muddying the waters and causing confusion. But this does not mean that we will move away from the correct terms which are as above: A Coffee Pod is made or Paper A Coffee Capsule is Aluminum or Plastic Hope that helps Not sure why you marked us down on 'Customer Service' as you have not contacted us ? We are always here to help

Can I ask what was wrong? We can't put right what we don't know about?

Coffee is good but packaging poor: misprint on the foil wrapper that is difficult to open without tearing the pod itself. Have to use scissors to open safely. When mentioned to customer services told that I would get use to it !

The last delivery had a large number of broken pods, not something that I have been used to over some time. I have bought some more, the first two are OK so I hope that the rest will be good.

If you want cheap coffee pods that are poorly manufactured, melt and separate in your machine and cause damage to it then these cheaply made pods are just what you've been looking for! I can't comment on the flavour as it was undrinkable on each occasion we tried to use them before giving up. On top of this you get Bob from the Coffee Pod company suggesting it's your fault and that there can't possibly be anything wrong with their product. I hesitate to call it customer service as i was made to feel like the villain under email interrogation and there was no service. I sent photos clearly supporting my problem but all to no avail with Bob. It was me or my machines fault and that was the end of it. Refused to send me a returns label to get a refund. I would have left zero stars but it wouldn't let me. My machine works perfectly with every other pod brand I've used including Nespresso, M&S, ALDI & Morrissons. These pods from The Coffee Pod are really poorly put together. Be warned. Buy at your own risk.

We do all we can, but sometimes customers just want to do what they want to do, they don't want to use the product correctly, they don't want to use it in a proper machine, they don't want a refund, they just want to blackmail a business into doing what they want. It takes a temperature of over 200' C to 'melt' a capsule, a coffee machine should NOT have a temperature of more then 95' C I trust that our true customers will see this review for what it is...................................................................

I have enjoyed the regular capsules in the past However I now need to drink de-caf for health reasons When I came to order, the first option that included de-caf read Mixed Box of 50 Compatible with Decaf. Lavazza A Modo Mio' capsules I ordered this box and then found that it only contained 5 de-caf capsules I have not been able to convince the firm that this description is misleading so I have now had to bear the cost of returning them which I feel is unfair. Otherwise everything about the product itself is excellent

Hi Rick, as we said there is no problem in exchanging the items and US paying the postage to send you the goods. There is a complete list of what the box contains on the web, so that customers know what they are ordering, but still not sure why 'Mixed Box with Decaf' is misleading? as we also have a 'Mixed Box' available without DeCaf.?

I ordered some coffee pods on Sunday 8 August, but they were not delivered until Saturday morning (14 August). Normally they would come in 1 - 2 days.
