Excellent personal service. I used to buy ESE pods from The Coffee pod for many years but after switched to “Dolche Gusto” machine I stopped. I recently saw and advert for them and when I saw they sell pods for my machine I jumped straight back in and ordered a couple of boxes. I’m now coffee aficionado but I know what I like. Great choices, great coffee and the icing on the cake the customer service. I got a phone call from Anne saying one of the coffees I’d ordered wasn’t due in stock for a week did I want to wait or have something else. She asked if I wanted to choose or let them pick an alternative I let them choose and I’m so pleased with it I’ll definitely have some more in my next order. And there will definite be more orders as apart from the great coffees the price is so much cheaper than the alternatives!

As for your reply to my previous review, let me make myself perfectly clear so that you are not unsure anymore. I selected the Slovak Republic as the country of delivery only because the drop-down list of countries of delivery let me select it. Regarding the shipping method, in my first order I chose “International Courier Tracked” (see the first screenshot attached). In my second order which I placed because you had rejected the first one – without contacting me (I did not receive any message from you on PayPal), nor replying to my e-mail sent to you using your website contact form – I had no possibility to choose the shipping method, i. e. the “Courier Delivery Sunday (uk Mainland)” shipping method (see the second screenshot attached) was pre-selected and there was no option to change it to another method. It was, however, still possible to select the Slovak Republic from the drop-down list, and thus, I supposed that I would be charged with the shipping costs later on. It is just as simple as that – plus, on your homepage you state that you “ship worldwide to most countries” (see the third screenshot attached). However, the drop-down list of countries of delivery consists only of 9 countries at the moment. For your information, there are 195 countries in the world. I hope that everything is understandable to you now and I wish you good luck with your “true customers” as you called them on this site in another review reply.

The coffee flavour is great but the pods don't seem to fit properly in my machine, not getting punctured well and causing the hot water to leak onto the worktop when th edrip tray gets full(very quickly).

Hi Mr Hartley, we have checked the details of the parcel shipping details, and the weight was correct for your full order when given to Royal Mail, so must have been a damaged parcel by Royal Mail? There is a 'Contact Us' form on our website, as well as the phone number to contact us on our Home Page, as well as on the invoice attached to the parcel. Just sorry you had a problem with your order.

The coffee is not of the same quality as similar products from other suppliers. It lacks intensity, being somewhat weak, which you do not expect of Italian blend.

The blue mountain coffee was not the same as I have had when purchasing ground coffee elsewhere. It lacked the fig taste that I have experienced before. Your prices are way too high as well. I can purchase senseo elsewhere at only £8.00 for 50.

Hi Michael Sorry you don't like our Kenyan Blue Mountain when comparing to other bands, but it does come down to personnel taste as we sale a lot of it. As for the price please make sure you are comparing like for like, as most others are not packed individually, and at that price it would not cover the cost of Kenyan Blue Mountain green coffee beans alone the cost of processing etc. so they must blend it with cheaper coffees which is probably why the taste is different.

I had the impression that it was going to be a really strong coffee. I now realise that I had ordered the wrong strength, it only being strong if I had a tiny cup of it. I want a bug cupful of it for my breakfast. Having so many pods, I can't justify ordering more until these are used up.

I’m disappointed by the flavour of one of the coffees I ordered. It is very weak in comparison to what I am used to and indeed what I have ordered from the coffee pod company in the past. It has a rating for strength of 8/10 but I would not like to taste a coffee from them any less than this - you probably would think it tasted like dishwater. I will order the strongest coffee next time . I have never had this problem with the coffee pod company before and wonder if the contents of the pods has been changed. I hope not because I will not use them again after my next order.

Packaging is very hard to open. it has a tear strip and as one tears it rips through the pod and coffee spills out. if one uses scissors its ok, but the pod material is very fragile and many packs have broken pods. this increases the cost per useable pod. No issues with the coffee - I am repeat customer, but the new packaging and pod manufacture are terrible

Hi again If you check your emails from PayPal you will see that we did add the reason for the refund when we put the refund through. The option to ship to the Slovak Republic was removed as a country option for delivery at the start of the year when delivery costs were increased by the couriers, and also the need for import & customs costs needed to be paid by the customer. The problem we have found is that some customers browers have 'catched' the option but when going through checkout the options for delivery default to UK. As you know the delivery cost showing for your order was ZERO so you were not even being charged for delivery which if we have been delivering to your country would have been £28 . I could add screen shots, but don't see the point. I would just again point out that we notified you when making the first refund (which was made straight away with out any need to ask for) The reason was attached to the refund through Paypal, and you still tried to order a second time. I am not sure what else we could have done?

Looking at your order Michael, I see you ordered a coffee that is a 'medium roast' maybe you should try some of our darker roast coffees, as they are available, then you may find one that suits you pallet. We do have coffees from across the complete range of coffees,

Hi, not sure why you posted this, we did contact you through PayPal as that was the payment method used. You tried to have the the delivery to 'Slovak Republic' but we don't ship there SO you selected UK delivery so that you could complete the order and make payment. THAT is why we refunded the payments, but you know that

After a week or so trying your espresso dolce gusto equivalent pods, I unfortunately find that they are rather weak and slightly insipid.I don't think that I will be reordering with you and I intend returning to my previous supplier.

I have been waiting for a response to my complaint about some alleged Nespresso compatible capsules that actually ruined my Nespresso machine. My husband loves that decaf coffee so I'll go on buying it. And writing you reviews like this.

Hi Mary, I have checked and we have not received any emails through our 'contact form' with your email address. so we have no idea that you were trying to contact us. The contact form is on our server, so this stops all spam coming through by email, so is the way to contact us, or by phone. I see you have also had 10 orders from us over the past year?

Paid extra for courier delivery, was given a midday time slot by DPD, waited all afternoon and then got a msg that their driver couldn’t find us (despite delivering to us numerous times before). No more info until the next day when we were given a new time slot after we had left the house for the day. A good product let down by the delivery service. Wasted money paying for it!

Pods are inconsistent with Nespresso machine. Some work some don't. It is not the machine as I also have some Nespresso pods left and they work fine.
