Repeat order with this company after my first purchase which consisted of a mixed selection of coffee ESE pods. This second order of 2 types of ESE coffee pods chosen on the taste experience of my first order arrived extremely quickly, ordered on the 13th July, arrived on the 16th July. Packaged securely but with the minimum waste cardboard, plastic, paper etc which I approve of, as I hate excessive unneeded packaging. This company has a vaste choice of coffees to choose from, and at one of the most competitive prices I have found online. Once order has been placed and paid for there is an email almost immediately confirming your order, and in fact my order was ordered, paid for and shipped on the same day. Kept up to date daily via email on the progress of my order. The postage price and choice of carrier for delivery of the orders is excellent. I will definitely be ordering more of these types of pods from 'The Coffee Pod' and try more of their range.

If you want cheap coffee pods that are poorly manufactured, melt and separate in your machine and cause damage to it then these cheaply made pods are just what you've been looking for! I can't comment on the flavour as it was undrinkable on each occasion we tried to use them before giving up. On top of this you get Bob from the Coffee Pod company suggesting it's your fault and that there can't possibly be anything wrong with their product. I hesitate to call it customer service as i was made to feel like the villain under email interrogation and there was no service. I sent photos clearly supporting my problem but all to no avail with Bob. It was me or my machines fault and that was the end of it. Refused to send me a returns label to get a refund. I would have left zero stars but it wouldn't let me. My machine works perfectly with every other pod brand I've used including Nespresso, M&S, ALDI & Morrissons. These pods from The Coffee Pod are really poorly put together. Be warned. Buy at your own risk.

Can I ask what was wrong?
We can't put right what we don't know about?
Coffee is good but packaging poor: misprint on the foil wrapper that is difficult to open without tearing the pod itself. Have to use scissors to open safely.
When mentioned to customer services told that I would get use to it !
This time I ordered beans as on the previous order I had requested espresso grind and it was insufficiently ground for my Gaggia non pressurised coffee maker. Hencw very weak coffee!! The sachets were however very good.
The last delivery had a large number of broken pods, not something that I have been used to over some time.
I have bought some more, the first two are OK so I hope that the rest will be good.

We do all we can, but sometimes customers just want to do what they want to do, they don't want to use the product correctly, they don't want to use it in a proper machine, they don't want a refund, they just want to blackmail a business into doing what they want.
It takes a temperature of over 200' C to 'melt' a capsule, a coffee machine should NOT have a temperature of more then 95' C
I trust that our true customers will see this review for what it is...................................................................

I have enjoyed the regular capsules in the past
However I now need to drink de-caf for health reasons
When I came to order, the first option that included de-caf read
Mixed Box of 50 Compatible with Decaf. Lavazza A Modo Mio' capsules
I ordered this box and then found that it only contained 5 de-caf capsules
I have not been able to convince the firm that this description is misleading so
I have now had to bear the cost of returning them which I feel is unfair.
Otherwise everything about the product itself is excellent

Hi Rick, as we said there is no problem in exchanging the items and US paying the postage to send you the goods.
There is a complete list of what the box contains on the web, so that customers know what they are ordering, but still not sure why 'Mixed Box with Decaf' is misleading? as we also have a 'Mixed Box' available without DeCaf.?

I ordered some coffee pods on Sunday 8 August, but they were not delivered until Saturday morning (14 August). Normally they would come in 1 - 2 days.
