ordered online, order cancelled as order was out of stock, but happened two days later by which time it was too late to order a replacement elsewhere. Very poor Edit: in response to reply, I was told the item was out of stock so told I could wait until it came back into stock or cancel. I cancelled and bought on amazon instead. I think this is a perfectly fair review considerin the inconvenience

Thank you for your review I'm sorry you don't have your parcel. This is strange since I can see from the tracking that it was delivered to you on the 9th February. I can also see that the GPS of the delivery was correct and the photo shows the parcel next to a white wall. Would you mind checking your emails from the 9th and see if there's one that says "we have delivered your wilton wholefoods parcel"? There should be a link to the photograph too. I'm concerned that if the parcel has been left outside for 9 days, that it won't be much good now but it would still be good to know if you find it. Still the best on the market

Several years now I'm buying from them and the product is always quality. Never had a problem and the delivery is prompt,no delays at all. The best price and quality on the market. Plus their communication is fast and friendly.

The order itself was absolutely fine, but the delivery was abysmal The parcel was left halfway down a neighbours drive, if we had not seen the picture of the order on the I pad we would never have received the order. My husband aged 83 had to go out looking for it and Carry the box back to our house, Try a bit harder with your delivery team.

Thank you for your review I'm terribly sorry about this. DPD are usually excellent but on this occasion, they have let themselves (and me) down! I have already contacted my account manager and customer services as the driver has clearly not done his job correctly. How can I put this right? prune size

i have had a second delivery of dried prunes and i was very disappointed my first pack of prunes was very nice med large and moist the second was moist but like a large marble one thing is certain i wont be getting any more from you. iff you want to move the small ones why dont you mix the larger with the smaller ones

Thank you for your review I'm glad you found our products were fine but I'm a little disappointed that you have rated us 3/5 for using Evri. We give the customer the choice of delivery company to use, but most people go for Evri simply because they are so much cheaper than the others we list! You had the choice of Royal Mail @ £3.60, DPD @ £5.52 or Evri @ £2.67. We also show the couriers' logos on the website to make choosing that much easier. Your order was delivered on time and in good condition, so I'm unsure why the low rating. If you have something that needs addressing, please email shop@wiltonwholefoods.com so that we can look into it in more detail. I'm sorry you are unhappy with our service and I hope you will consider using us again in the future.

Slight problem.

Website needs updating to identify not available products at checkout. First time I’ve encountered this problem. Otherwise the same excellent service and packing and delivery. Thoroughly recommended, always reliable. Customer service helpful when I phoned.

Thank you for your review! There is actually a very good reason why we don't offer refill packs for the spice tubs. It's because spices require a composite film in order to stay fresh and not transfer their aroma to other products. Composite films aren't recyclable (yet) so it doesn't make sense to refill a pot that is easily recyclable with product from a pack that can't be recylcled! The tubs are made from PET (the easiest plastic to recycle). I hope this won't put you off shopping with us again. All the best Dan

I would like the option to not use Evri for shipping, a cardboard box on a wet paving slab isn't sensible. Otherwise all is good

Thank you for your review I believe you are referring to the delivery charge. We change our default delivery option from Evri (cheap) to DPD (more expensive) on the run-up to Christmas so that customers would get their goodies on time. Evri is normally our default and is considerably cheaper but can take up to 10 days to deliver. Since people are often in a hurry at Christmas time (and they don't read the estimated delivery time), we thought this would be a good idea! As a result, we've had nobody contact us to complain that their Christmas delivery didn't arrive on time. We are constantly looking to reduce the price of our courier options and are looking at signing up with DHL fairly soon. They offer DPD's speed at a lower price, so it's a win for everyone!

Good products poor delivery

As usual the products are excellent but the courier service was poor. Previous deliveries have been very good but this time the courier was Evri and I was not impressed. I have a delivery safe place listed on my account for greenhouse in rear garden if out but the courier left the parcel by the front door in the pouring rain . The package was also slightly torn probably from being picked up by one hand . The contents were damp but seem to be intact . Previous orders came in a box but this time was loose in a plastic bag which may have added to the tendency to break the cover. The courier sent me an email to say that the delivery had been delayed The next contact next day said that they would deliver “today”with a time slot beginning 10 minutes after the email I read this after the email saying that it had been delivered . We were at home but didn’t hear the doorbell so only knew that the package was delivered after an email telling me that it had been! It was lucky that I checked my email soon after this or the contents could have been soaked I didn’t leave feedback to the courier as they ask about the delivery man rather than the overall process and the poor experience may not have been his fault at least in part - nothing printed on package so don’t know if he had instructions to leave in greenhouse I was very impressed in the past by deliveries by Yodel easy to track delivery on line helpful pleasant drivers and no problems I hope that this was an isolated experience as the products are very good

Thank you for your review. I'm so sorry that your parcel was delivered in this state! From looking at the tracking, it appears that Evri had repacked your order after the original box was damaged in transit. The original box was labelled with instructions on where to leave it (safe place) but because the box was lost, the label was lost too! The service used was a "leave safe" service, so that's what the driver did. It's a shame that it didn't go better - after all, the local Evri depot did well to repackage the order and not return-to-sender as is normally the case. We'll make sure your next order is packed well and that the label is on the box. Thanks again, Dan

Great collection of herbs and spices

I've bought a few spices and herbs from them and I can say they are good quality and reasonably priced. The Japanese rice cracker was ok but the hot Bombay mix was not "hot", my definition of hot Is high amount of pepper like samyang noodles so I was excited to try this version but there was no pepper in there, just high amounts of curry seasonings so not as expected. I also bought crystallised ginger but it wasn't the quality I was used to, even though they claimed they used the same supplier as the other site I buy from, the quality was definitely not the same but the issue was sorted out and I really do hope they did look into it. I will definitely be buying more herbs and spices from them, hopefully they add more in the future and keep a large number in stock so they don't always run out.
