My experience with fishdeal has been excellent, i purchased reels and spare spools at very competative prices (by far the cheapest anywhere I looked). Postage was free and fairly quick, (I ordered on a sunday night and they arrived by tracked courior Saturday morning, thats 6 days from the Netherlands to the UK) I think that is pretty good considering I was notified it could be longer due to heavy work loads at the warehouse. The reels are very good quality from a well established company and were well packaged. What`s not to like. Despite all the negative feedback from other customers, I would buy from them again, without hesitation

Hi, Thank you for your review. We have looked into this case and we see that your order was delayed by the courier due to the Black Friday season. While our delivery times are 2-5 working days, unfortunately we also depend on the courier to deliver on time and if they have unexpected delays, then this affects the delivery times. Sadly the couriers do not contact us t let us know of these delays and therefore w e cannot contact our customers with this information. Hi, Thank you for your review. When an order cannot be shipped in 1 parcel, we split the order in 2 or more orders. Then you receive two different messages with the corresponding tracking. Did you not receive the 2 emails with the tracking information? Kind regards, Team Fishdeal.

Hi, We are sorry to hear you had problems with the delivery of the parcel. We see that you placed your order on the 7th and we gave to the courier on the 8th. Until that moment we did everything we could to ship the parcel for the delivery on time. Sadly, the courier was dealing with delays consequence of the Black Friday season and the parcel was tock at their depo. When you contacted and started an investigation with the courier to find the best solution for you. However, this investigation is still open and the courier has not to given a solution yet. We see that our customer service has helped you with a full refund of the order. Hi, We are sorry to hear you have had issues with the delivery. Unfortunately, couriers often send back parcels to us due to damage, missing labels lost in transport and/or other issues with the parcels. Sadly they do not notify us of this and we only know of this when you contact us. We are already in talks with the couriers to find a way of them contacting us about this and clarifying the reasons for returning the parcel so that we can help our customers correctly. Hi, Thank you for your review. We have looked into this case and we found that our team placed the refund for the product on the same day you requested it. Hi, How annoying to hear that your parcel was delivered with a delay. You places the order on the December 2nd and we gave to the courier on the 3rd. Unfortunately, the courier had delays as consequence of the Black Friday season and this affected the delivery times. Sadly we also depend on the couriers to deliver the orders and if they have delays, there is nothing we can do about this. Very Poor Courier

The problem with using Fishdeal is their courier choice. It is worth noting that goods come from mainland Europe. The courier they use is Hermes/Evri who from experience are very poor. My first order went missing, probably stolen. The replacement order some two weeks later arrived in a very battered and selotaped up box. I think I will have to stick to UK based online retailers in future. You also have to spend £100 for free pp. Their customer service is very good though, which is what you want when things go missing.

Pack your goods better please. Don't use Evri ... they are awful. They leave your goods on the doorstep. I'm lucky it wasn't stolen. Try replying to these comments.

Listen to customers to improve your standards

Problems with order again. Poor packaging with minimal effort resulting in boxes coming open and contents compromised. Heavy contents should require more attention to sealing the boxes properly to protect the integrity of the contents. Having to chase up missing or out of stock items on most orders to try and get a refund or redelivery, and longer than average delivery times.

Unfortunately, after giving the parcels to the courier, they do not contact us if there are delays or problems with the parcels, therefore the only way for us to know the parcel is missing or delayed is hen the customer contacts us about it. Regarding the packaging, we are already working in finding better ways to pack and send the orders to avoid damages during transportation, however, there is always a small chance that due to the lack of careless the couriers have with the parcels this ones suffer some damages. The item looks good and a lot bigger than expected. Delivery was bad, and the box was sodden wet. I had to put the calander on radiator to dry out. He was very rude and said sorry the van was flooded!!! Wouldn't use again.
