My experience with fishdeal has been excellent, i purchased reels and spare spools at very competative prices (by far the cheapest anywhere I looked). Postage was free and fairly quick, (I ordered on a sunday night and they arrived by tracked courior Saturday morning, thats 6 days from the Netherlands to the UK) I think that is pretty good considering I was notified it could be longer due to heavy work loads at the warehouse. The reels are very good quality from a well established company and were well packaged. What`s not to like. Despite all the negative feedback from other customers, I would buy from them again, without hesitation

Worst experience ever...First i got fouled be the name(co.uk) made me think they are based in UK. Placed an order(around £400), didn't arrived after 5 days. I get in touch with them, they said as there is one extra large item(false) and will take longer. After 2 weeks may order was still in courier depot(GLS). According to tracking reference, one of the parcels (they split my order in 3 parcels) was incorrect labeled, and sent back to Fishdeal. After 3 weeks, a second parcel was sent back to them due packing damage. They refund my money, and offer me a free delivery on my next order(which is free anyway if the order is £90+), i don't know what make them think as i will ever order again from them, after such an experience. So if you order for your next fishing session, and this is in the next month time, don't bother.

Hi, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you have had a problem in the order. In our site, there products that are scanned in the system as extra late products. These products need to be shipped with a special courier that can ship extra large products towards the UK. Normally, orders with extra large products take longer to be ldeivred and this is specified at the meant go checkout before making the payment for the order. Would have given zero if I could

Emailed fishdeal 10 days after I placed the order, to say the parcel had been sitting in Evri's depot for 6 days and hadn't been scanned or moved since,fishdeals response was that they needed to leave it another 2 days to contact evri ,emailed fishdeal after 2 days to say it still hadn't arrived and still hadn't been scanned,since then ive had no response from fishdeal or parcel received ,I have emailed fishdeal everyday for the last 3 days asking for them to respond but I've had nothing .I would not recommend buying from this company and I would have never placed the order if I knew they used Evri,as they are by far the worst courier in th UK.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

Avoid at all cost, items returned to sender on 2 occasions, I thought that Co.uk would be UK based, how wrong was I, based in the Netherlands, sent from the Netherlands, items didn't even reach the UK, phone lines only open about an hour each day, and only on about 3 days each week, I did manage to get through, after phoning every hour on the hour, not even an apology from customer service, buy whatever you want elsewhere, then you might actually receive your goods

Waited for the 5 working days before i had to call them to find out where my parcel is. They then told me it wasnt in stock any more but never informed me of anything no tracking info no sorry we dont have in stock anymore. Inwas then offered a refund and within 2 mins of that call ending I received tracking info for the parcel which i was just told was being refunded. Now another week later and ive had to contact them again and im now being told its been stopped since the 22nd at some port! Which means they never had it in stock to begin with absolute jokers they are

I ordered in expectation that delivery would be within the 2 to 5 day window they advertised. It's now 10 days and still no delivery. Despite having rung them several times I've been told that, because of their arrangement with the courier service they use, I can't get a refund till it's been received and nor is it possible to change the delivery address as I will not now be at home to receive the order. Totally ruined my planned fishing holiday; will never use this company again

If the parcel is in transportation, nothing can be changed in the address until it arrives at the UK courier's depo. Then you can contact us to make a change or you can do it via their tracking site. Didn’t have the item I had purchased in stock despite showing in stock on the website. They didn’t inform me of this until a few days later when I emailed them to ask where my order was. Also very slow to respond to emails. You get one reply a day. And don’t bother trying to call them, I was waiting for them to answer 45 min and no response.

try contacting customers and explaining why their order was cancelled before just issuing a refund with no explanation as to why and no reply to customers queries i have spent £100s on you fishing stuff but i can safely say i will not be spending an other penny on your website

very poor dispatch time , tell lies about orders stating its been despatch even stating a tracking number . when it was still in there wearhouse. then giving an excuss about the Rod being to big to ship to the UK, unbelieveable statement. Will never use this company ever again .

dissapointing

ordered items on buy one get one free promotion, 3 days later got an email theyre out of stock, unable to contact them for another week, after this the advisor was unable to offer me any solution other than wait 2-3 weeks or get a refund. Really dissapointing

Built and marketed on a subterfuge.

They use an English name and have a .uk website but they are based in The Netherlands. Delivery times to the U.K. are derisory I ordered on the 22nd of April and am still waiting! (05/05/2023). If they were honest I might not be so scathing but they are not.

ordered ultimate 3 rod pod, didn't come with back rests, so ordered them. as it was a 3 rod pod, seem to me the back rest to accompany the rodpod would also come in 3's. had many discussions with one staff member who fin ally came up with I only ordered 1, why would I do that for 3 rods. No common sense, if they came singly that should have been made clear.
