My experience with fishdeal has been excellent, i purchased reels and spare spools at very competative prices (by far the cheapest anywhere I looked). Postage was free and fairly quick, (I ordered on a sunday night and they arrived by tracked courior Saturday morning, thats 6 days from the Netherlands to the UK) I think that is pretty good considering I was notified it could be longer due to heavy work loads at the warehouse. The reels are very good quality from a well established company and were well packaged. What`s not to like. Despite all the negative feedback from other customers, I would buy from them again, without hesitation

Good day, That's annoying to hear! We always make every effort to pack and ship every order as quickly as possible. The majority of all orders are therefore delivered to the customer nicely within the specified time. This is also the reason why we state "1 to 3 working days" as the expected delivery date. You placed your order with us on 31-12-2023 and we shipped it to you the following day. So we have done everything possible to ship this order as soon as possible. We see that your shipment has unfortunately been delayed at dpd. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this and we are dependent on dpd. Of course, we are responsible for this shipment and sincerely apologise for the delay. We hope to serve you better in the future.

Purchased 2 x Penn 7000 carp reels, both arrived, one faulty. Very disappointing, Fishdeal did respond with returns details. I have returned the reel for replacement but no communication as to what is happening. These items come from the Netherlands which delays delivery to UK

Scam

My equipment got to the local DPD delivery depot then on tracking just was marked as returning to Fishdeal. I have emailed but nobody has replied. Nothing was delivered and no delivery attempted. They have my money and I have no equipment

Ok, I was supplied with a defective product. The return possibility was accepted, though it will cost me £6.50. It won’t get back back to their warehouse for two weeks, so I can’t get my refund, less the £6.50, for sometime. And that in turn means I can’t buy an equivalent item elsewhere until I get the refund. I have had much better service from other companies

Hi, We are sorry to hear you received a defective product. When you apply for the return labels via our Guarantee department return labels have no cost given that you have provided pictures or video of the problem with the product. We have looked into this case and see that no picture nor video was provided, therefore, we cannot void the returns costs until we receive the parcel and confirm the product's fault. Disappointed but not Fishdeal's problem.

Was disappointed when I received my order for a 2 piece thermal suit with half of it missing. It had been opened during transit and part of it stolen. Credit to Fishdeal though they agreed to forward a replacement which I am now waiting for.

Order still not arrived. Was not aware when ordered that the items were shipped from The Netherlands & was given a delivery time of 2 to 5 working days so gifts would have arrived in time for Christmas. Customer Service reacted quickly with a response but site should have reflected the issues with the NL postal service. I now have a disappointed husband :(

Good Products Poor Service

Delivery was very slow I know it is Christmas but the time the product spent in the Netherlands was excessive. There was no updates from Fishdeal until I started chasing. The only information was it had been shipped in the Netherland but not received by Evri over a period of 2 weeks. When i chased it came very quickly. Packaging was poor 4 bank sticks and a reel in its unprotected box in a low quality cardboard box with no packing not even some old newspaper. The outer box already had an hole in it I suspect from the bank sticks moving around its a wonder the whole thing had not disintegrated.

Unfortunately, couriers often send back parcels to us due to damage, missing labels lost in transport and/or other issues with the parcels. Sadly they do not notify us of this and we only know of this when you contact us. We are already in talks with the couriers to find a way of them contacting us about this and clarifying the reasons for returning the parcel so that we can help our customers correctly. Hi, We are sorry to hear you had problems with the delivery of the parcel. We see that you placed your order on the 7th and we gave to the courier on the 8th. Until that moment we did everything we could to ship the parcel for the delivery on time. Sadly, the courier was dealing with delays consequence of the Black Friday season and the parcel was tock at their depo. When you contacted and started an investigation with the courier to find the best solution for you. However, this investigation is still open and the courier has not to given a solution yet. We see that our customer service has helped you with a full refund of the order. Unfortunately, the courier had delays as consequence of the Black Friday season and this affected the delivery times. While our delivery times are 2-5 working days, unfortunately we also depend on the courier to deliver on time and if they have unexpected delays, then this affects the delivery times.
