Have always loved your jeans so a fan. Have you changed your sizing? I purchased a size 16 S and was surprised to see how long the trousers were. They are even longer that the 16 R I purchased several years ago.

I would usually give five stars but recently I ordered 3 pairs of jeans. The website said that all were in stock. After some time waiting, I made a call and was told they were waiting for one pair. I hadn’t asked for them to be sent together so asked that the two in stock pairs be sent immediately. I waited another couple of weeks, nothing. I called again. They were still waiting for one pair but the two in stock had still not been sent. I cancelled the whole order. Something seems to be happening, we were unable to track the status of orders online. It will be a while before I order anything again

You took payment for a pair of sandals on 6 July 2023. I didn't receive the sandals until 3 August. You have taken a payment of £71.00 for a blouse (on 8 July 2023) & I still haven't received it. I have repeatedly asked for a refund for this item, which you have denied, saying it's been dispatched. It clearly hasn't. Your promise not to take payment until an item has been dispatched is therefore meaningless as it has been broken twice-over. You are clearly liars. I am still awaiting refunds for 3 items returned to you on 5 July 2023 & for which you have confirmed receipt. I had to ask for this confirmation. You have yet to make me a refund of the promised & agreed discount on a full-price hat which I purchased on 24 June 2023. I check with my credit card company every 5 days whether or not the overdue refunds have been received & to date they have not. On 3 August your telephone advisor confirmed your safe receipt of 2 coats & a scarf & advised no refunds had been paid out. He also advised the damn blouse had yet to leave your warehouse. You are now trying to pretend that all this is my fault because I "cannot locate the refunds". Sorry, lame excuse & it won't work. You say you have contacted your head office to check the number of the card to which refunds have been applied. What absolute crap. Just another stalling tactic not to make the refunds. You've had the cheek to offer me compensation of a £20 voucher I can set against a future purchase together with free postage. Do you seriously think I am going to buy anything further from you? Dream on. Seems to me you may be about to go out of business & can't afford to let the money go. Right??

Items ordered often are not in stock, being placed as they say, on back order, wasteing time for shopper, then, returns appear to take far too long to process in Britain, and contacting customer services is absolutely pointless, they pleasantly fob you off without an answer to your query. Or, customer services admit not having the required information available, as is the case due to computer system change over that Peter Hahn is currently undertaking. Not least, they've super complicated invoices which confuse customers, with endless long codes of numbers and letters, far too many often leaving item description out altogether. And does estimated date of delivery actually mean anything at all, or is it set up just to disappoint. I'm sure that those employed are doing what they can with what's available, they seem pleasant enough. How about Peter Hahn also ask customers for their clothes shopping needs, so they can start designing some nicer clothes, far too many tops with large vulgar prints. I hope things are resolved once their new system is in place. However, I'm still awaiting my returns refunds and with tracking showing they've successfully been returned, yet I've had no feedback on refund and no refund to date. Disappointed but hoping things will change for the better.

PETER HAHN offers a wonderful range of clothes, and I have shopped with them for many years very successfully. However, this year my experience with their customer service has been appalling. It took weeks for my order to arrive; one of the garments was not what I wanted and the other was too small. I returned both, asking for one refund and the other to be exchanged. Again I waited weeks for the new order to be delivered only to find both had been refunded. I therefore placed a completely new order, which was confirmed, but weeks later received an e-mail to say the dress was out of stock and the order cancelled. Apparently PETER HAHN no longer do exchanges which I find unacceptable. They excuse their poor service by a system change but my first order was placed in April, and it wasn't until the end of June that I discovered I would not be able to purchase the dress I wanted. VERY disappointing, VERY poor customer service and I shall not be shopping with Peter Hahn again. To add insult to injury, the day after my last e-mail from them I received their latest catalogue - which must be extremely expensive to produce - which proudly states 100% satisfaction guaranteed!! Not with this customer, sadly.

Naturally with any form of IT we encountered some technical issues along the way. We are sorry your first order arrived incorrect. Please be politely advised we have not offered exchanges here at PETER HAHN for 4 years now. We changed our T&C's and it is also stated on your return form that any item you send back will be fully refunded and we kindly ask our customers to place new orders. Any vouchers or discounts used on the original order will always be reapplied to the new order. We cannot comment as to why you were informed the item was in stock when you replaced the order, but it may be that our supplier informed us we could not supply the item to you when we came to pick and pack this. We offer a 100% satisifaction guarentee on our returns. This means we do not specify a time limit on our returns, customers are always within their rights to return an item for a full refund should this become faulty. We appreciate the system update has not transitioned as smoothly as we would like, but our team are working around the clock to try and make our customers experience a more enjoyable one. Buyer beware

Wish I’d read previous reviews before ordering from this company for the first time. It’s over 5 weeks since I placed my order and item still not received. Very poor communication and customer service - the only communication I’ve had from the company is the initial confirmation of order & that they took the money from my account 2 weeks ago , all online updates say the order is ‘in dispatch’ (& has been for several weeks), there is no online tracking . Customer services were pleasant when I phoned them , but I had to wait 25 minutes before my call was answered, it is alleged that a new IT system is the cause of all the problems but I was told this went operational in April …. 6 months of delays, bad customer reviews and nothing’s been sorted really????? There is only a customer service / returns service operating in UK, all orders are dispatched from Germany ……….. my assumption is that they only get dispatched when there is a lorry or cargo load to be transported . Products they sell look great but I will never order from them again

Disillusioned, unlikely to order from PH again.

This company has an excellent array of items to choose from and I have been very happy to purchase both expensive and more modest items from them in the past. However, a return of mine has been deemed to be 'lost' by the post office and I am anxious about my refund. Despite phone calls and promises from PH this return, posted on 28th April and 17 days ago has still not been refunded. PH very quickly debits my account, 17th April money was taken, then the items ordered take over one week to arrive and refunds can take the full 14 days to arrive into my account. This time though, the refund hasn't yet been paid and even accounting for two bank holidays, which means a refund should have reached my account today, my money has not been refunded. Why do return refunds take so long? Of course, they may not be refunding me as the item was lost in the post, but I don't know. And, lengthy phone calls to the 0800 number also costs me.

Avoid this company

Peter Hahn promises not to take your money until your order is dispatched - this is untrue. My credit card has been debited but I've been waiting 19 days now for a pair of sandals & 17 days for a blouse. Peter Hahn took the money without delivering. So much for their promise. I'm so fed up that I tried to cancel these 2 orders - the company refused to cancel. I am still waiting for an acknowledgement (let alone a damned refund) for goods returned to Peter Hahn on 28 June. Service using the telephone order line is dreadful, Average wait time for (seemingly the only) operative to pick up is 20 minutes & the last time this happened I was told to call back next day because the computer was down. I will never order from this online retailer again. I've never experienced service as poor as this before.

I am so disgusted and disappointed in their service. The trusted shop is not worth having because it’s only for 1 month which should be long enough however they take so long to despatch an order, when you finally receive it half that time is eaten up and if you need to return anything for a refund it also takes an unacceptable amount of time. The latest excuse for not processing refunds is “a new system” . Well that doesn’t bode well! Despite chasing 3 times and various conflicting emails I have not received a refund that I have waited 3 weeks for. With the 2 weeks it took them to despatch my order I am now out of time to claim. I am so sick of chasing and waiting! I don’t know what else to do now and it’s very upsetting as the amount is over £400. They just don’t care.

Really disappointed!

I have shopped with Peter Hahn for years. Great choice of products but I have recently placed two orders at the beginning of this month that I still haven’t received! I called them last week and was told some story about them changing systems and things not going to plan but the orders have been sent. I still haveńt received them and I notice the system change didńt stop the money from being taken out of my account weeks ago!. For the prices I am paying I expect better service and I dońt regard a £20 voucher with a time limit of the end of the month and a minimum spend amount compensation! Why would I buy something else when I haveńt received the original orders? Also there is no tracking system to find out where purchased items are in the chain. Really disappointed!

Delayed Order, Lack of Information and Customer Care

I have ordered a cardigan on 14th May 2023, which I have not received yet - 16 working days after ordering. When I wrote asking when I would receive the cardigan, I just got a standard email saying that your delivery time is 8-10 working days, which showed that Chelsea MB did not read my query properly. I think you delivery service is very slow and you haven't let me know when I will receive my order. I am left wondering whether you are aware that I haven't received my order when you have taken my money and the delivery is late. You are sending me further adverts by email and you are still advertising the same cardigan in the colour supplements but I have not received my order. You can improve by letting me know when I will receive my order.

Serious supply problems and poor communication skills.

Serious supply problems but that I can comprehend. What I can not understand is why, when you order an item, you get the online reply "in stock." You are then told (often after payment details have been given) that the item is not in stock and you are given an estimated date of delivery. Next, you find that the date has elapsed and you hear nothing from Peter Hahn. When the customer then contacts Peter Hahn the customer is told that the expected delivery date has been extended. In conclusion, Peter Hahn's online communication with customers is lamentably poor. I have been a loyal PH customer for years but have just cancelled an order and I question whetehr or not I shall consider purchasing from PH in the future.

I ordered long boots online from Peter Hahn on the 6th of April 2023. After about 25 days I sent them a message inquiring about my order. They replied that they never received my order, and if I'd like I could order again from them. I used my debit card details online to order from Peter Hahn in the first place, and now I don't know where this order went and who got it, if it didn't reach Peter Hahn. I find that this is a very dangerous negligence, and I certainly don't want to order anything online from Peter Hahn again. I hope that someone could explain to me who received my order, and whether the details of my debit card are safe. This is a very worrying experience.

Quality of goods is great BUT dispatch DREADFUL… twice I have ordered from here, and both times, there has been an unconscionable delay, which has been blamed both times on system upgrades, and I have never received the goods within the timeframe promised. It has also necessitated several phone calls to customer service to try and get the items that I have ordered. Nobody minds delays and problems if one is notified. My gripe is that nobody lets you know that the item is either out of stock or being delayed by up to 8 weeks. I wish I could give a better review, but I have been left very disappointed by this company indeed on several occasions .

The service has deteriorated considerably over the past few months. Communication is poor with no confirmation of order, problems with processing payments probably due to the excessive delay for deliveries. Orders often incomplete with items from one order being delivered over several weeks despite being in stock when ordered. This never used to be case, service used to be excellent. Come on Peter Hahn get yourself back on track, I won't be ordering anything I need quickly or for a special occasion because I can no longer rely on it appearing on time. The two stars are because of the high quality of the merchandise which is consistent.

Service does not match quality of garments

My experience is of lengthy delays with both delivery and (if needed) refunds. This, despite the fact, that emails arrive every day to encourage more purchases and regular deliveries of glossy brochures. When they are arrive the clothes are very beautiful and of excellent quality, but the prices are far from cheap. It is a pity that the company service does not match this. Staff have few or no answers when I telephone to find out what is going on and I feel very sorry for them. The “system change” the company has undertaken seems to have been the excuse for the poor service for an inordinately long time.

Apparently PH changed over their system and had major problems getting orders out - but not getting money out of my account! Wrote several times to ask where my order was - no reply. Rang a couple of times and each time got a different story as to when the items had been despatched. I love PH clothes and have never had a problem in the past other than delivery is very slow, but this time it was appalling. I appreciate something not working but at least get everyone singing from the same hymn sheet and don’t offer compensation that has a time limit and spend limit!

I ordered a ladies cardigan on April 20, 2023, and about a week later received an e-mail from Peter Hahn informing me that because of a problem with their suppliers the order would be delivered no later than June 26, 2023, some 2 months after the order was placed. As the cardigan was intended as a birthday present for my wife on May 2 the surprise has fallen a little bit flat to say the least. While I appreciate that Peter Hahn do not have any control over suppliers' problems, I do not think I will be ordering anything else from this company anytime soon.

PETER HAHN - not recommended as a trustworthy online retailer

I have been a loyal customer of PETER HAHN for years. I am now experiencing for the second time, the absence of a refund - this one for £486.95 - which is a considerable sum of money. In the past, I did not have to check because refunds were processed quickly and accurately. This has changed. I am having to check and when I complain, I find out there has been an error, but that is not corrected immediately. The explanation of a change of system after months no longer washes. I do not recommend PETER HAHN, despite their lovely clothes ...

Ordered on different occasions two pairs of sneakers one pair on 24 April and another pair 5 May. Both pairs were returned immediately and haven’t received refund for either pair. Very annoyed as this will incur interest on my credit card. Will certainly think twice before ordering anything from Peter Hahn again. Spoke to someone on the phone who said I would get my refund, but still no luck. I could have been to Germany and back in the time it is taking to get my refunds. Waiting For Refund Still

I returned an item which unfortunately was too big on the 30/06/23.It is now the 24/07/23 and I have still not received my refund after 4 phone call.Which is very bad service.Never had this trouble with other retailers,in fact just did a return to London and the second day a refund was issued.What is going on Peter Hahn.I have since ordered from the retailer in London the clothes are quality and gorgeous and they don’t hold on to your money.I think twice now before ordering from a Peter Hahn for this very reason.

Had to call and ask where my delivery was as it was 7 days beyond delivery date as on the order email. Was told that item was back dated to September. I had not received any communication about this change of delivery. Had a specific date/ event that I was hoping the dress would be appropriate for. Was very disappointed in such awful customer service. Cancelled order. Will definitely think hard before ordering with them again. Already know that they are slow to refund returned items from previous experience.
