Was I disappointed I didn't get my Marlboro tobacco? yes. So why am I still giving 5 stars? A number of reasons :-
Shops DO occasionally run out of stock;
Some shops give you a 'store credit' (not that I'd have minded in this case as I WILL be shopping here until I have to give up smoking or I die) - and that after you've had to ASK for a refund - I got my refund automatically without asking;
I ordered two lighters, a really good one for my wife's birthday which was as brilliant as advertised;
My lighter, I thought (from the price) was just one above the disposable lighters so imagine my surprise when I got a reassuringly heavy lighter which was almost as good as my wife's far more expensive one!
An order has been placed and it was shipped after 5-6 days an multiple phone calls all do all of the items were in stock and I payed for priority shipping, no explanation was given for the delay
I like the speed/convenience/good marketing/points. I have had 2 cracked cigars on delivery though which isn't necessarily their doing but a point that they may be able to look into and develop a way to help reduce the risk further. (In saying this the packaging is not bad by any means but potentially there's something different that could be done like tubos just for the sending)
'Land's Tobacco' has been on the corner of Cook's Alley for as long as I can remember. I was particularly impressed to be able to switch to online purchases during the Covid lock-downs. Now, if I am too busy to go into town, I can default to their quick delivery service instead.

Original perterson pipe faulty. Replaced immediately. They cannot be responsible for the quality control of Peter sons, but their approach to customers and satisfaction is second to non.
Cigar turned up fairly quick but quality was poor cigar fell apart half way through smoking

There is room for improvement
I have paid for next day delivery and did not receive my parcel until a 9 days later. During this period DPD didn't know where my parcel is, and when I contacted Havanahouse, the customer service rep was very rude and not helpful. His only advice was to keep on waiting as DPD will deliver eventually. I left it for a couple of days and then rang them again, this time a gentleman called Adam was very helpful and reprocessed my order, which arrived the following day

They are very good. Forgot one of my cigars but got it to me by the next day
Got my first order very wrong, when I complained it was kind of them to say that they fix it by sending the correct order but even the resend had a mistake

Item is a Xmas gift so contents of box not unwrapped. Disappointed that the inscribed box that is part of the gift is damaged. Given the amount of bubble wrap around it the damage had yo have been before the packing stage.
