This is a fantastic product standing strong with only the shelf space to be configured according to buyers needs. The semi assembled storage unit made things easy, simple and interesting. My only issue is with the carrier, and the delivery man. Three times they called to find out if my post code was correct. They are inefficient courier using old post office data base. I tried to guide the driver how to get to my address with the van when he called me. They are two main roads to get to my address but one had been blocked by the council and we can only use the other one even as residents in the centre of London. Despite my guidance, he used the barricaded road and had no option but to use trolley to transport the unit over some unnecessary distance to my address. When he arrived I showed him the route he should have used seeing many cars parked on the street.

I recently ordered Office Depot 100 grm wove paper as the call centre sale staff couldn't find Conqueror despite being given the catalogue code. Thank god I checked it, finding it substandard definitely not 100 grms nor 90 grms more like a cheap photocopy paper. I would suggest this be removed from sale, Trades Description would apply here. I was fortunate to have a competent person to deal with the return he found the Conqueror immediately. I have yet another issue which wasted hours of my time on an order placed in July 27 which I noticed was going to the wrong address ( I just happened to be on the computer) and phoned back 5 minutes later to be told it couldn't be cancelled and would have to be sent out and returned. So I had to raise another order to the correct address, however, the consequence of this was no credit notes issued and three threating letters despite several phone calls about this. On my last call it was done Credit Notes raised ,balance at 00.00 I note that the concerning invoices are still listed on the statement ( 7301916 & 7351049 ) Finally I'm finding it very annoying to access statements and invoices with this ridiculous Corrivo timing out etc. I've never had so many problems with Viking in all the years I've used them as I have in 2020/21 .You will start to lose customers, so train your staff properly to understand the order process, accounts etc., and value your customers. I would also suggest that a review of your programming is needed, it is not user friendly.

Placed order before 6pm on 31/05/22. Received email advice that day stating "Your delivery is on its way" . Tracking link to Menzies showed that "Your consignment is with the driver" at 07:21am on 01/06/22. Did not get delivered that day. As following two days were bank holidays, we did not expect to see them until Monday 06/06/22. Menzies tracking link showed the consignment was with the driver again at 07:23am on 06/06/22. DID NOT GET DELIVERED AGAIN!!! I have just telephoned Customer Services, and I confirmed that they had the correct delivery address, they tell me that the order has now been returned to their Warehouse!! They did not notify us that it had been returned to them either - so we would not have known if I had not called them. They offered to replace the order - but would still have used the same courier to deliver it - so no guarantee that we would get it either (so have routed it to my home address, just in case). They also told me that delivery is 24-48 hours from placing order - and not the Next Day Delivery (for orders placed before 6pm) stated on the website!! If it did say differently, it was not very prominent on the website!! This has happened before when Viking use Menzies as their courier. We are unable to contact Menzies to find out what the problem is, and we never find out from Viking why Menzies returned the shipment. Menzies tracking system does not show that it has been returned either - still says "Out with driver" on 06/06/22!! We have CCTV that shows that Menzies never even attempted delivery to our workshop, and no-one phoned for directions either! NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED EITHER. What I can see is that the shipping address that is shown on the email advising me that the order is on its way is only a partial address, and not the full address that was shown on the order confirmation email. ... and Viking had cheek to ring me up at beginning of last week to see if there was anything they could do for me, and offering me discounts! This may be the straw that breaks the camel's back, and we switch to an alternative supplier!

I needed some files urgently 6 days ago so ordered them from Viking as they were in stock and if ordered before 4 pm would be delivered on the next working day. I still don't have them. They wouldn't let me update my billing or delivery address online "for security reasons" (which don't seem to affect any of the other online sites I visit regularly). It took me 5 goes on Live chat after constantly being thrown out as I was near the end of the process. When the order hadn't shown up 5 days (3 working days) later, I rang to enquire about my order. Eventually (after the agent I was on with spoke to the credit department - baffling in itself as I'd paid by debit card on an account with ample funds in) I was told my order had been put on hold but would now be released for delivery. WTF - was anybody ever going to tell me what was happening with my order or would I have been waiting come Christmas. I'm still none the wiser as to what the issue was. Now I want an invoice. Are they sending me one? Of course not. They want me to register with some website and then go on it and generate my own invoice. I made my next stationery order online with Ryman in less time than it took Viking to tell me my order had been put on hold. In summary - all too much hassle to use them again unless there's no option. My wasted time is more valuable than whatever I might have saved on their prices.

The product I ordered did not arrive on the scheduled day; when I checked tracking it said it had been delivered and that there was an image of a signature. I had been in at the time it was supposed to have been delivered so I knew there was an issue; I reported this to Viking and over a week later have heard nothing from them. Fortunately, a kind neighbour came with the parcel - it was delivered to the correct house number but the wrong street; my neighbour was out when it was delivered and the delivery man put it through her letter box and clearly signed for it himself. Although this was an issue with the courier rather than Viking themselves there was no after-sales customer service from Viking and if the my neighbour had not brought the package to me I would clearly have had issues resolving it.

My 'next day' delivery took 6 days to arrive. The tracking information said the driver had set off with my parcel on day 3. It eventually arrived on day 6. Not Viking's fault perhaps, but still affected me as a customer. Also, the day after placing my order, Viking emailed me to ask me to phone them to discuss my order. It took about 25 minutes of digital menus and recorded music before I eventually reached an assistant who simply wanted me to confirm my delivery address, which I had already correctly stated in my original order. Overall, it was an inefficient and slow process. However, the goods arrived in good condition, they were a reasonable price, and the ordering process on the website was straightforward.

Firstly the lack of care with address identification and complete lack of my postcode on the parcel - so Menzies told me. This meant once they had that information the parcel was delivered whilst I was away as the delivery was delayed. Secondly lack of protective packaging meant one of the tubs of foldback clips was dented. The box containing the stapler was battered too. Then I try the stapler to find there are no staples in it! There is no clear indication of what staples should be used though written on the box is '24/6-26/6' this may be the size it takes but whatever I have none to fit it. I am so annoyed

Was cold called to place an order, which I did. Was told I would get an invoice to pay. Was then called & told I had to pay up front as I hadn’t ordered in a while. Asked if I could pay online & told yes. Tried accessing to pay & then found I couldn’t do that so had to call to pay. When I did I was told my order had been cancelled as I wanted to pay online!! Asked to reorder the basket but then the discounts didn’t apply from the sales person originally. In the end bought my cartridges cheaper (nearly £20) elsewhere. Realise I shouldn’t order from cold calling!

Not to be trusted. I contacted their Customer Service team to ask for an estimated delivery time for an item before ordering and was told "5 - 6 days". Over a week later I contacted them for an update, only to be told that they would not receive stock for that item in their warehouse until the end of the year... if I hadn't asked, I would still be waiting for a parcel that was never going to arrive. Very disappointing as their prices were good, but there was no offer of a replacement item and their communication was contradictory.

THE worst call centre experience I have ever had. Clueless operative who asked repeatedly for the same information, even after I had typed it into the chat window already. No Help No Clue where my item was or when it would arrive only that it would not be that day. So I bought from somewhere else on Express delivery for Saturday morning. Vastly more expensive. And then the boxes arrived out of the blue. So I wasted time money and energy for absolutely no reason. Lucky none of these sites have the ability to record a ZERO rating,

Ordered 4 items. 1 (box of paper) arrived within a couple of days but the second box containing the other 3 items hasn't arrived after another week. Customer Services (sound to be based in South Africa) weren't helpful and sounded annoyed with me for bothering them. Told me to wait another week because they should turn up. Alternatively I could re-order the items (and pay again). Eventually they agreed to refer it to a separate team to investigate it and I'll have to wait another few days for them to contact me. Frustrating.

Appalling service this time. My order didn't come. I rang to chase it up. Was told he'd check it out and get back to me. Nothing more heard. I rang again. She told me the Delivery department would call back within 8 hours. Nothing. I phoned this morning and was told by helpful Pumeza that the record showed the items had been lost somewhere in transit. But apparently nothing had been done from that point on. Only this morning, as a result of my call, did the delivery get set up again. Appalling service.

I placed an order with Viking last week, I was informed it had been dispatched and I tracked it to the point of 'Out with driver for delivery' on 31st May, 2022. It did not arrive and when I contacted Viking, after looking into it, I was informed that the parcel had been returned to the warehouse as 'could not be delivered' !! Both my husband and I were at home all day, and no-one tried to delivery anything, and certainly did not try to contact us about it. The problem is with the couriers !!

Ordered and goods did not arrive in time. When chased was told no way of sppeding up delivery. Totally stressed me and my colleagues, a team for 6 who had no materials to deliver to a group of 1020...had to take time off work to go "searching and shopping" for materials needed. Why can they not send you a text of the delivery date and window of time as to when they are going to deliver (like everyone else in the 21st Century!!? Will not be using them again.

deliveries are not what i expect from your company. having been given the option of delivery dates my order came partly on one day the courier was supposed to have 4 parcels and could only find 2 and said he would bring the others the day after and came with1 parcel said they could not find the other parcel got in touch customer services and i am still waiting for a reply one week after my order being placed

I ordered 5 reams of paper, assuming they would be delivered in their ‘outer’ packaging. Unfortunately they were removed from that into an oversize box with absolutely no padding. All 5 reams of paper and the oversize box were delivered battered and damaged. Whoever is responsible for picking and packing the order needs to be trained properly of have their employment terminated pretty quickly.

I accidentally placed an order which I tried cancelling a few seconds after, and I was told I had waited too long to cancel!!! They were meant to come and collect they item and I am still waiting. They keep saying they have to re-order the pick up for some odd reason. Also, Viking Direct keep calling me by the wrong name, they call me Joanne !?), we haven't got anyone by that name. Cathy

Several times orders have arrived with odd mistakes in the order; a lever-arch file we never ordered in the place of a storage box we had ordered as part of a set of 2 boxes (1 arrived, 1 didn't). These problems are frustrating and becoming very frequent but what is more frustrating is how poor the customer service is after, giving us the inconvenience rather than the company.

I ordered some A4 paper. It didn't arrive so I emailed to ask where it was. They said the carrier had returned the delivery to them. They couldn't reissue the order as they don't store card details; but they have automatically refunded my payment. (How if they don't store card details; and, in any case, why didn't they just reissue the order instead of refunding my payment.)

I ordered a box of pens on 01/06/22. The package was dispatched on 06/06/22 and Menzies were supposed to have delivered it on 07/06/22. however no package was delivered and I was at home at the time Menzies state it was delivered. I contacted Viking customer services who still have not resolved the non-delivery of my package in spite of it being 2 weeks since I ordered.

I have had an atrocious experience. I ordered and paid for some files and dividers on a promise of "next day delivery". I received an email to say that they had been despatched but they never arrived. I had to email a complaint and received a reply that they were now due to arrive within 11 working days. The dividers arrived 4 days late. The files have still not arrived.

Deliveries - I can never get my order delivered in the morning. We are a small office and only work mornings the delivery group they use will insist in trying to deliver in the late afternoon one week on and I am still waiting for my order. They used to be so great and have used them for over 20 years, looking at going elsewhere as we need next day delivery.
