From order to delivery of the MeacoDry Arete One 10L dehumidifier was less than 24 hours - fantastic. I was particularly pleased that there was no delivery charge. The unit looks good, is very quiet and easy to use, and collected impressive amounts of water in our large cold rooms during recent dank weather. We appreciated the helpful booklet - so many manufacturers these days just refer you to websites for instructions. Not so with Meaco. Another great feature is the ease of use of the company's website, where I registered the product to confirm our warranty. My final positive comment about the website relates to the background and values of this UK company. The feature "Our Story" details this, and allows you to understand why Meaco has won so many awards for its products. Why go to a distributor when you can buy direct with such a quality of service?

I purchased 2 rather expensive dehumidifiers for our home use, they are rather heavy to lift and move about because the caster wheel feet don’t come with the product and you have to purchase them separately at another expense to me , the cost being £49.98 for 2 sets for the 2 dehumidifiers I’d purchased, I think I’m being rather generous giving 3 stars when realistically 1 star would have also be to higher score, shall we say the stars are for the product and not the fact that your company sponged another £49.98 for something that should come with the product complete, I’m guessing that i wont be the only person to mention this in a review, do the right thing and refund the cost of the casters, regards Len Aaron

Wish we’d bought these sooner! Been struggling with condensation problems for years. Amazed at the water this extracts from our house! Delivery was quick, set up simple, absolutely no issues. Love SmartMode which automatically turns itself off when reached a certain level then kicks in again when it goes above. Highly recommend!

Good product, Delivery by DPD could be better.
Good product. Delivery by DPD could be better. Ironically I had to dry the box when I got home; after DPD left it in in full view, in heavy rain at the front door. I have a canopy over the back door, and a garage, both accessible. I've had many poor experiences of DPD in my business for 25 years so no surprise there really.

We have an older property, with walls that have no cavity, so we have to manage the levels of condensation, so invested in a MeacoDry ABC.
It’s incredibly quiet, it helps to dry our washing, and very effective and cheap to run. We are so happy with it, we have bought two more to ensure the downstairs is damp free.

Doing really well so far
Our Arete One arrived in the last week and is pressed into service for our laundry work during a cold, wet spell. Early signs are very promising for this better solution. Plans for other rooms/purposes are in hand. Pleased to see cost savings in prospect too. A neat piece of kit - and a good instruction leaflet.

Works amazingly well removing moisture from air. Laundry function dried bedding in 3 hours. Portable, stylish, easy to use. Delivery was speedy and free. Instructions great to follow. Not needed customer service but hoping it’s as good as everything so far if I do need to contact them.

Great way to reduce damp
It's a good product and I like to see how much humidity is about in the room it is placed in. We suffer with damp and its great to see all the water being sucked out of the air that will ultimately lead to a reduction of the damp. Also love how it helps to dry the washing quicker too

Your site was easy to use and register the warranty with, the purchase was ordered one day and delivered the next The machine itself was easy to remove from the packaging and set up and use. The price charged by Meaco's own website was the cheapest of all online retailers viewed.

Once I managed to catch the item in stock, before it was sold out yet again, the ordering was very simple and delivery very quick and problem free. Hopefully the demand for these products is a good sign of the quality. The dehumidifier worked well on first use, drying laundry.

I’d already bought the size 20l about 6 weeks ago. I felt it was a bit heavy for me to move around. So I’ve now bought the 12l size. It’s much easier for me to manoeuvre. And it’s even quieter.
And my daughter has kidnapped my larger Meaco to use in her very first property.

Easy to order on website. Good description of products. Purchased dehumidifier, arrived following day even though it was a Sunday. Product very well packed and easy to set up. 5 year warranty easy to register online. So far product working well and impressed with results.

Worth waiting for
Had to wait for stock to come in but when it did it arrived super fast. Very pleased with it’s performance- wish I’d bought one years ago
Not too heavy to move around and simple to empty. Hard to tell how good it is at air purifying yet but the dehumidifier is great.

Brilliant at its job
Like all Meaco dehumidifier products I have used, it is just brilliant at its job. However, it isn't very clear for a first-time user to find out that the castor wheels are inside the water tank. There is nowhere in the user guide where it states you can find them there.

Order was shipped very quickly, which is good. However I had barely an hour's notice of the first delivery attempt (fortunately caught it in time) and the "order is on its way" message came after delivery had occurred. So coordination with DPD could be improved.

Love it!
Dehumidifier arrive promptly and is an amazing bit of kit. Clothes are dried really quickly and the water tank is designed so that it's easy to get out, doesn't spill a drop as you transfer it to the sink and then you just tip it up and it empties.
