Having used Meaco for over 7years now, I can proudly and confidently state that if you are really after a quality brand and a great value for money; please look no further as Meaco Dehumidifiers are the industry number one. I bought the Meaco Arete 25L from Meaco's website for £299.99 and switched it on after 4hours after having it kept upright outside its box. The device is very quiet compared to the many others (mainly DeLonghi) we tried before Meaco. If you want ideal humidity level for a healthy and perfect air, keep it running at 40-45% with a variance of +/-3% where the hygrometer/sensors will do a sterling job and the best of all is the energy consumption. I have a smart meter and it tracks my energy usage, I have to confess that with the dehumidifier plugged in for 24/7, the energy consumption at 40% has been 50-60pence a day for the last one week of use.

I ordered an item with a next day delivery and Meaco failed to deliver, blaming the lack of delivery on the pandemic. The tracking information Meaco provided shows no indication that the item was ever despatched. Meaco was making excuses for the delivery organisation, but every other delivery organisation is getting around the same problems - so I didn't believe them, so I cancelled the order after the entire next day had passed - Meaco asked me to wait for what could be weeks for finding out what happened to my order. Meaco has since refused to grant a full refund, insisting that they must hear from the delivery organisation (Parcel Force), and it's been a week since placing my order and still they have made no progress and have insisted on holding my money. Meaco is responsible for: poor selection of service providers, passing on the problems of service providers onto their customers, taking zero steps to ensure the delivery of an order / deliberately withholding a customer's goods despite taking their money (fraud). If I am ever asked what my worst shopping experience was during the season of the pandemic, I will refer to this one, although technically we have move on from the pandemic ... Careful of this organisation because there is a good chance that what I have expeienced is fraud, and they could do this to you too.

We have purchased Meaco fans before and find them to be excellent. They are extremely quiet in operation and cost effective to run. We only tend to use on the lowest setting but good to know more power is there if needed. The reason for the 4 stars is the process of registering the warranty or purchasing the extended warranty. Both require you to send proof of purchase but Meaco don't issue you with an invoice, just an email confirming your order. This is the most frustrating thing with the company and would be great if they could address.

It is a very nice fan, worth to have it and no doubt to recommend it to everyone. My experience during purchase and after have it : There are 2 options - Grade A and B which A is little bit expensive consider it is a brand new one. I choose A but after received the fan, the screw at the handle was loose, can’t screw on and no guideline how to screw it on. Appear in my mind if I get the Grade A one? If it is Grade A, how come such small thing could happened ?

Easy to set up, makes the room lovely and cool with good features especially in this ridiculously hot weather. Only downside is one of the plastic panels rattles a bit but in 40 degree heat it is worth the sacrifice. Yes they are noisy but it is the same for every air con machine.

Machine is working well. Our bedroom is at about the max size recommended, but is still kept cool. However, the instructions on the window seal are very hard to understand, and we are using it without the seal. Also, screwing into upvc is not a greta idea.

I really like this little fan. It makes the air cooler than another small fan I have and the fact I can move it around without needing to unplug it is a real bonus. The like light will also be fabulous when I am in my camper van. Very happy so far.

Ordered a fan for next day morning delivery which I paid the extra postage for. Nothing received so rang to chase. Not even been dispatched so had to cancel order as I needed the fan quickly. To be fair I was given an immediate refund but a call or email saying it was delayed would have helped.

I have several of these fans and they are well made, reliable and very quiet. However, don't rely on the 24 hour delivery service because Meaco feel that is your responsibility, and if they don't turn up, they see that as your problem. Although, they did offer to call DPD 'on my behalf'.

Delivery as promised. Since realised that there was no indication in the advert for the fan of its actual size . It is much smaller than I imagined and since ordering it I have found other fans advertised at lower prices with details of the size.
