Meaco Arete 20l delivered next working day in perfect condition. Easy to set up, convenient carrying handle, and designed so you can run it 24/7 if you like. Realistically just over 200W/hour, as every ~20 minutes it goes low power for a couple of minutes to measure the humidity and I guess blow dry the fins a bit (since it does this even on continuous run mode). Do not expect near the maximum advertised collection in regular British weather - perhaps 5l/day i.e. one tank - but this is perfectly respectable. Can run with a hose instead of the tank, but N.B. this means that it won't detect if the tank is missing when you turn it on, only if it's present and full - then it waits until you replace it. 5 year standard warranty is v reassuring. Remember to wash the standard ingress filter and that the HEPA filters need to be replaced when they go off colour.

I have just bought the 10l dehumidifier, specifically to dry washing faster in a small flat. The Meaco dehumidifier dries washing very fast - surprisingly fast even - so sheets and towels don't have to hang around the space for too long. More energy efficient than a tumble dryer (so un-green, I feel). Plus the neat design means that it looks fine and fits easily into a cupboard when not in use. The operating sound is low too. Easy to use buttons and tank to empty water collected, neat looking, relatively low priced and extremely efficient, I highly rate this machine. I also bought the same model last year for my boyfriend's flat to help prevent black mould and to dry washing in a place with very high ceilings - good results all round.

I have already got two of the pedestal fans and they were excellent especially in the heatwaves. I wanted to buy the smaller one for my office but was not sure if it would work well on the floor. I emailed the company at the weekend and got a next day reply. I have since bought it and trialed it in my office and it is small, powerful and whisper quiet. I also have a dehumidrier which solves both drying washing and avoiding black mould that my partner has a dangerous allergy to. Cant fault MEACO's merchandise or their customer service.

A brilliant, well designed and efficient must have piece of kit. I bought the original Meaco 2.5l dehumidifier nearly 3 years ago and have been really impressed with it - dries all our washing as well as keeping house dry. This new one is even better and more efficient as it reaches target humidity much sooner and then turns off. I bought the new one because we can't afford to be without one so use older one in a separate room now to dry all our washing. Well done Meaco.

Has brought the humidity down in my two bedroom flat to the recommended 55% in less than a week, it was previously 75 - 80% using a small dehumidifier. Problems with mould and damp, so I am hoping this will solve these problems long term. No more condensation on my windows since I bought the Meaco. I also love that it has an air purifier, I have definitely noticed a better, clearer air quality in my home. Very happy customer. Thank you.

Extremely efficient, quite quiet, with excellent dust and hepa filters, and mould-resistant water collection containers which are easy to empty. We have used other dehumidifiers in the past, but Meaco are the best by far We have a rambling old flint-built farmhouse which gathers condensation; just bought our second Arete 1 12litres, and we just move them around where needed. Also, the fastest standard delivery!

This is my second Meaco Arête One 25L dehumidifier/Air Purifier that I am buying for my son. The first one I bought for myself. I was so impressed by its performance that I recommended it to my son who was looking for a good reliable dehumidifier. Anyone looking for a dehumidifier look know further than Meaco. They’re a trusted reliable product and excellent performer. You won’t be disappointed.

The dehumidifier works like a charm. Very impressed by the amount of water it can collect. Our laundry gets nice and dry in 6hours or less. The noise level is acceptable, can’t tell if it’s too loud when you are sleeping next to it, but you can’t hear it from room next door. What I would appreciate is to have a handle on the water collector to make it easier to carry.

Unbelievable service. Ordered unit online and was delivered direct from the company in less than 20 hours. The Arrette 1 I ordered is very quiet in use and could be left on all night if needed. My unit is situated outside my bathroom door and after a shower clears the room of steam in a short time. This was bought to replace a very noisy cheaper make and is a good buy.

The dehumidifier (only used twice up to now as not had it long) has done an excellent job. However, the delivery firm you use are not good. My parcel was taken back to depo because it was delivered to wrong address. So after waiting in all day and 3 phone calls later to dpd i changed the delivery address to my local post office to make sure i got my dehumidifier.

So far all good , a little pricey, meaco delivers as promised. The only niggle is the stated wattage consumption on the description , is lower than stated on the unit and book . Not by a lot but it is ... It works well , if you get a vibration rattle , put an elastic band or similar on the elec cable holder , should stop it. I recommend this dehumidifier .

Wish we’d bought these sooner! Been struggling with condensation problems for years. Amazed at the water this extracts from our house! Delivery was quick, set up simple, absolutely no issues. Love SmartMode which automatically turns itself off when reached a certain level then kicks in again when it goes above. Highly recommend!

I first spoke to a technical person at Meaco who was very helpful and explained the difference between several models of dehumidifiers. I bought a dehumidifier on line, on a Sunday, and received an email on the same day saying it had been dispatched. It arrived the next day. I have since bought another one to put in a garage.

The product I ordered [Arete One Dehumidifier] is of excellent quality - unfortunately not suitable for my small studio flat, but if I were to move to a larger property would be fine - excellent service form Meaco who sent me a returns label so no cost for me to return - they have just given me a full refund.

So impressed with Dehumidifier purchased recently, passed it on to a friend and purchased another to replace it. A telephone enquiry was handled politely and efficiently. Only sorry that l did not make a note of the name of the gentleman.xxxxx Last Summer the Meaco Fan was a life saver in the intense heat.

I’d already bought the size 20l about 6 weeks ago. I felt it was a bit heavy for me to move around. So I’ve now bought the 12l size. It’s much easier for me to manoeuvre. And it’s even quieter. And my daughter has kidnapped my larger Meaco to use in her very first property.

I am a very happy buyer! I like everything from the design to the price! Quiet enough, energy efficient, drys clothes for about 5-6 hours. I wanted the green one, but it was out of stock, so took the silver colour, very happy! Thanks!
