From order to delivery of the MeacoDry Arete One 10L dehumidifier was less than 24 hours - fantastic. I was particularly pleased that there was no delivery charge. The unit looks good, is very quiet and easy to use, and collected impressive amounts of water in our large cold rooms during recent dank weather. We appreciated the helpful booklet - so many manufacturers these days just refer you to websites for instructions. Not so with Meaco. Another great feature is the ease of use of the company's website, where I registered the product to confirm our warranty. My final positive comment about the website relates to the background and values of this UK company. The feature "Our Story" details this, and allows you to understand why Meaco has won so many awards for its products. Why go to a distributor when you can buy direct with such a quality of service?

I purchased 2 rather expensive dehumidifiers for our home use, they are rather heavy to lift and move about because the caster wheel feet don’t come with the product and you have to purchase them separately at another expense to me , the cost being £49.98 for 2 sets for the 2 dehumidifiers I’d purchased, I think I’m being rather generous giving 3 stars when realistically 1 star would have also be to higher score, shall we say the stars are for the product and not the fact that your company sponged another £49.98 for something that should come with the product complete, I’m guessing that i wont be the only person to mention this in a review, do the right thing and refund the cost of the casters, regards Len Aaron

Very good and simple to use.
The only thing that is a slight negative for me is the fact that it goes into 1 fan mode when the humidity is 15 higher than your set target and so it takes longer to get to your target. I know this is good for energy saving however so there's two ways to look at it. I also wish you could set it to continue into smart dehumidifier mode once it completed laundry mode. Just more flexibility would be cool (but this could create too many options for others and remove the simplicity of the device). Overall the device looks nice and is doing the job that I need it too, nothing complicated about it and I have no regrets. The manual also makes everything clear.

The machine is fine, looks good, works well, easy to use, and nice and quite . Had hoped it would arrive on Tuesday as promised on the website when I ordered it on Saturday but alas arrived Wednesday so was an added cost of lost work.

I like the product although it is early days it seems to work well.
The site led me to believe though that if I ordered by 3pm on a weekday the item would arrive the next day. I therefore assumed that ordering at the weekend (so definitely before 3pm on Monday) would mean it came on Tuesday. In fact it wasn't shipped until Tuesday and arrived on Wednesday.

The product is good and delivery muddled
The product is good and I have no problem with that and look forward to using it.. The delivery was muddled. I booked a next day delivery and the email said that it had been sent with a DPD link to track its progress. The link showed that it had not been received. I rang Meaco and spoke to an advisor who said that I had booked it after 3pm (I had in fact booked it before 3pm) and said it would arrive on Monday. It did arrive that evening much to my surprise, so I was delighted, but somewhat mystified!

Ordering and delivery were fine, in fact dpd were brilliant, lifting it into the kitchen for me
After only a week of intermittent use it’s hard to comment on the product. It seems efficient and easy to empty.
Observations so far… it’s not easy to move around, it’s heavy, would benefit from a better handle and certainly needs wheels.

When buying graded saves you nothing!
The graded dehumidifier was £10 cheaper than brand new, a very small amount. So, I was disappointed to find that Meaco do not send the graded unit out with a hepa filter which you get as standard with a brand new one. To buy filters from Meaco costs almost £10 each so I am mystified how buying a graded appliance from Meaco makes you any savings at all. If I had known this I would not have bought from Meaco direct.

Product is great.
Ordered before the 5pm deadline on Friday and paid extra for Saturday delivery. Arrived Sunday. Full day wasted waiting for delivery. Yes I was able track it but assumed something wrong with tracking status as it didn't change till Sunday

Meaco unable to supply parts
Contacted Meaco due to my desktop 360 fan USB connector breaking, asked if i could purchase a replacement part and they do not stock them. £70 fan is now destine for the scrap heap because I cannot repair it. It’s only a couple of years old. Would be nice to be able to repair now it’s just plastic waste.
