From order to delivery of the MeacoDry Arete One 10L dehumidifier was less than 24 hours - fantastic. I was particularly pleased that there was no delivery charge. The unit looks good, is very quiet and easy to use, and collected impressive amounts of water in our large cold rooms during recent dank weather. We appreciated the helpful booklet - so many manufacturers these days just refer you to websites for instructions. Not so with Meaco. Another great feature is the ease of use of the company's website, where I registered the product to confirm our warranty. My final positive comment about the website relates to the background and values of this UK company. The feature "Our Story" details this, and allows you to understand why Meaco has won so many awards for its products. Why go to a distributor when you can buy direct with such a quality of service?

I purchased 2 rather expensive dehumidifiers for our home use, they are rather heavy to lift and move about because the caster wheel feet don’t come with the product and you have to purchase them separately at another expense to me , the cost being £49.98 for 2 sets for the 2 dehumidifiers I’d purchased, I think I’m being rather generous giving 3 stars when realistically 1 star would have also be to higher score, shall we say the stars are for the product and not the fact that your company sponged another £49.98 for something that should come with the product complete, I’m guessing that i wont be the only person to mention this in a review, do the right thing and refund the cost of the casters, regards Len Aaron

Excellent MeacoDry Arete One Dehumidifier
I wanted to order a dehumidifier for drying clothes and they were out of stock, so I signed up to be informed when they were back and was able to order immediately on receiving the confirmation email.
The item is very well constructed and solid. It arrived well packaged and was easy to add the wheels to and set up. Easy to use in operation with an auto switch off if the water tank is full or a certain humidity or set time is reached. The water tank is easy to remove and carry. It has a cover with holes so you can pour it out easily or it suggests you can use the water to water non-edible plants inside or outside. A very good investment.

Excellent product with next day delivery.
Excellent service with next day delivery of a product that exceeded our expectations. Our model 25 is extracting a surprisingly large amount of moisture from the air which has been causing bad condensation on windows and mould growth in most of our rooms which we were constantly having to remove. The unit is placed in our hallway and the problem has now been removed from all the rooms and it's a delight to wake up to condensation free windows and no more battling to keep wiping the black mould away. 100% recommended this product and an excellent company for customer service.

Very pleased with the dehumidifier - does everything that is claimed for it. I would happily recommend that anyone like me, who lives in a damp part of the country and is prone to related breathing problems, should seriously consider buying a dehumidifier. And from everything I’ve seen the Meaco arête must be one of the best, if not the best, available. A word of advise though - don’t wait until next autumn/winter to get one when the law of supply and demand may well dictate that you have to pay more than the advertised price…

The process of purchasing was so straightforward, all information about the product was accurate. the reviews and demonstration i viewed were very helpful.so l decided to purchase one. all l can say now is the amount of water that’s collected is impressive.I bought this product to filter the air as I have pet.also my wife likes to Batch cook over meals which creates excess moisture and when drying clothes indoor due to bad weather believe I am so impressed.highly recommend MEACO and this impressive machine.

Fast free delivery, good strong packaging, quality product, silent, clear instructions and great price direct from Meaco.
This unit has been on continuously and collected a full tank every 24 hours in the last 4 days. Considering each load is 4.8l that’s amazing.
We have three levels with five bedrooms and had been using smaller dehumidifiers on each floor. Didn’t think we had such a problem.
Seems to have practically eliminated window condensation and the house is warmer.

Amazing for drying nappies
We purchased this to help reduce condensation on windows, which it has done a great job at, it is also amazing at drying reusable nappies, which is fantastic when you're washing practically every day. You do need to remember to switch it back to smart mode after using the clothes setting, and with the handy night mode you can leave it in smart mode without worry, but if you want to see the humidity like me you'd switch it off. Would be great if there was a timer for night mode.

Thank you for your review. If your unit completes it's laundry mode cycle, it will switch off, you can then turn it on as normal to resume smart humidity mode, you can also change to smart humidity mode during a laundry cycle if you need. Hope that helps.

i love all the features like having wheels, sleek handle and ergonomics of the water container! Child like is a must too.. i have a curious one year old.. It is not loud too and even like a soothing white noise in the background, in my opinion. Instantly removed the musty wet odour in our entrance (stairs) and took off condensation on our small room filled with drying laundry . AND free Hepa filter for air purification! all for reasonable price! What more can you ask for! 😍

Excellent purchase
We love our dehumidifier. It is compact and sleek, easy to use, effective, efficient and cost saving. We bought it primarily for drying laundry and wouldn’t go back to using a tumble dryer. I place it on the landing outside the bathroom and it helps clear condensation quicker than the extractor fan alone. Ordering was straightforward and delivery was prompt and we were kept informed throughout. The 5 year warranty is a plus at no extra cost. Would highly recommend.

Just what I needed!
Really pleased with the Arete 10L, perfect for my 1-bed Annex. I’m not good with following instructions, but they were easy to follow and it was soon up and running. Laundry mode is really effective.
I love the design of it, particularly the handle! I put the castors on and it moves around easily and not too heavy to lift if needed. Only suggested improvement is the font size in the instruction manual could be bigger, otherwise 10/10!

Good company. Excellent buy
Really good advice from my two calls to advisors firstly about the best machine to buy and secondly about the running of the machine.
We are also extremely impressed with the performance of the unit. We like the fact that it purifies the air as it draws out the excess water. It is quieter in operation than other dehumidifiers I’ve had even from Meaco.
From this experience I would definitely buy from Meaco again.

Extremely efficient, quite quiet, with excellent dust and hepa filters, and mould-resistant water collection containers which are easy to empty. We have used other dehumidifiers in the past, but Meaco are the best by far We have a rambling old flint-built farmhouse which gathers condensation; just bought our second Arete 1 12litres, and we just move them around where needed. Also, the fastest standard delivery!

Your product is fantastic. Your dehumidifier has improved my chronic health issues and has changed the quality of my life indoors; I only wish that I had had it when the children were small. My flat is now damp free and smells lovely :)

Ordered direct with company rather than the likes of Amazon and got it slightly cheaper. Next day delivery by DPD who give you exact delivery times, so what’s not to like about that. Had to phone their customer line because we couldn’t find the casters. They were well hidden inside the water tank. Sorted immediately.

Wish we’d bought these sooner! Been struggling with condensation problems for years. Amazed at the water this extracts from our house! Delivery was quick, set up simple, absolutely no issues. Love SmartMode which automatically turns itself off when reached a certain level then kicks in again when it goes above. Highly recommend!

Good product. Delivery by DPD could be better. Ironically I had to dry the box when I got home; after DPD left it in in full view, in heavy rain at the front door. I have a canopy over the back door, and a garage, both accessible. I've had many poor experiences of DPD in my business for 25 years so no surprise there really.

We have an older property, with walls that have no cavity, so we have to manage the levels of condensation, so invested in a MeacoDry ABC.
It’s incredibly quiet, it helps to dry our washing, and very effective and cheap to run. We are so happy with it, we have bought two more to ensure the downstairs is damp free.

Doing really well so far
Our Arete One arrived in the last week and is pressed into service for our laundry work during a cold, wet spell. Early signs are very promising for this better solution. Plans for other rooms/purposes are in hand. Pleased to see cost savings in prospect too. A neat piece of kit - and a good instruction leaflet.

Works amazingly well removing moisture from air. Laundry function dried bedding in 3 hours. Portable, stylish, easy to use. Delivery was speedy and free. Instructions great to follow. Not needed customer service but hoping it’s as good as everything so far if I do need to contact them.
