From order to delivery of the MeacoDry Arete One 10L dehumidifier was less than 24 hours - fantastic. I was particularly pleased that there was no delivery charge. The unit looks good, is very quiet and easy to use, and collected impressive amounts of water in our large cold rooms during recent dank weather. We appreciated the helpful booklet - so many manufacturers these days just refer you to websites for instructions. Not so with Meaco. Another great feature is the ease of use of the company's website, where I registered the product to confirm our warranty. My final positive comment about the website relates to the background and values of this UK company. The feature "Our Story" details this, and allows you to understand why Meaco has won so many awards for its products. Why go to a distributor when you can buy direct with such a quality of service?

I purchased 2 rather expensive dehumidifiers for our home use, they are rather heavy to lift and move about because the caster wheel feet don’t come with the product and you have to purchase them separately at another expense to me , the cost being £49.98 for 2 sets for the 2 dehumidifiers I’d purchased, I think I’m being rather generous giving 3 stars when realistically 1 star would have also be to higher score, shall we say the stars are for the product and not the fact that your company sponged another £49.98 for something that should come with the product complete, I’m guessing that i wont be the only person to mention this in a review, do the right thing and refund the cost of the casters, regards Len Aaron

I have not had my order received after a week, no response to email regarding this. Bad service as far as I am concerned. Will have to keep pressing for delivery of item I have legitimately paid for.

Happy with service and products

We love our Meaco dehumidifer/air purifier. For awhile we weren't able to get filters from anywhere, which made me a bit skeptical that we should have purchased a dehumidifier only. Now that filters have restocked and are available again, we are very happy with the difference having a Meaco unit in our house to keep the moisture balanced and musty smells to a minimum. Your website is easy to use, shipping is fast. There is nothing you could improve. I think the filter dilemma is probably related to the current supply issue with all things. Very happy customer!

The fan came with a very short lead, needing an extension and the fan does not extend very high but the fan itself ossilates so that does improve matters

Thank you for your review. A 1.6m power cable is fairly standard for fans and if you made it any taller it would fall over.

Absolutely terrible service!

You guys delivered the wrong fan - then said you would send the right fan the next day - I waited in all day and it still didn’t arrive! This is terrible service.

Fan arrived damaged and company told me to superglue it!

Ordered a fan which arrived damaged, reported it immediately and had to wait a few days for a response, their response was to superglue it! How it got through quality control is beyond me as the damaged part was incredibly loose.Tried to arrange an exchange with the collection of the damaged fan to happen on the same day as a new fan but a no from Meaco. The measly 10 refund will cover the glue.

Thank you for your review. Please note that the offer is always there to exchange the faulty product for a new one. The option of gluing the disc back on some customers have opted to do and we provide a refund for those that prefer this option. But the choice is always the customers, we will do either. We're sorry to hear about your experience on our website, generally we have positive reviews confirming the ease of use. The whole filter must be replaced when the ioniser/filter button flashes red – it will do this after 2200 hours of use or if it detects a build up of dust and dirt on the filters. Though they cost quite a bit, it is the performance and reliability of this filter which makes it worth purchasing. Using DPD as courier a VERY BAD IDEA! I was out when they delivered and instead of leaving the filter in a safe place they dropped it off to *their* collection point which was a petrol station two miles away in the next village! Even when my son took the card to collect they asked for a QR code (not everyone has a smart phone) and asked for ID to collect. Worse delivery experience ever :-( Free delivery not worth the time and hassle. Good company and good product let down by appalling courier.

There was a lot of firms to fill in before I could return my faulty product. Item was dealt with very promptly once returned and was told a report on the machine would be forwarded to me. This has never been received.
