Lovely hair wrap products that I’ve used for many years in colour Butterscotch. However, I’ve changed my hair colour and cannot for the life of me find the correct colour which is a mid auburn brown. I’ve had 7 sent to me and none suit me. So all been sent back at rather a high cost to me. I didn’t realise that I could do an exchange and it wouldn’t have cost me as it doesn’t state this on the shipping note. I’ve dealt with a lovely lady called Pat who has been super helpful. What would be helpful would be colour swatches if requested. They could be charged for and then maybe deducted if a product is purchased. As I’ve not resolved my perfect colour I’m actually going to go to the concession in Selfridges to source what I need. But as I said, lovely after service and care from Pat. I love these products as they make my hair super stylish very quickly when I’ve not time to fancy pancy about.

Also, in your website you can read that people with chronic illnesses like alopecia don't have to pay VAT. Sent an email asking how could I apply to this situation because I have alopecia since 7 years old (I'm 45). No answer as well.
Communication with the customer should be a priority and it wasn't.

Communication with the customer should be a priority

We are sorry there was a miscommunication and we were slow to reply to your email about VAT. All our products include VAT as per UK law. I can see that as you had the item shipped overseas that the VAT should have been removed and wasn't. This has been rectified and you have had a VAT refund.
Regarding the website notification about VAT and chronic illness : The UK government allows VAT to be refunded if you qualify as having an illness that causes hairloss, however this is only applicable to UK residents. We are sorry for any confusion about this issue.

Genuine quality wig sellers. Recommended.
Possibly one of the only genuine wig shops online. I was a bit nervous as have been victim of cons which have sadly been supported by PayPal so have lost money. I know these are sold in Selfridges in London so worth a try. The wig that arrived was the one I ordered and was beautiful quality. The colour wasn’t quite right for me so I phoned their helpline, spoke to a lovely helpful lady , chose a different colour, returned it using their provided label ( I paid the postage which wasn’t unreasonable). Just waiting for the replacement to arrive. I wear a wig for medical reasons, not fashion and am relieved to find a reliable and trustworthy seller.

My wig order arrived much quicker than expected. ving to complete a V.A.T. form in, every time I place an order. Surely they could store your medical details in your account. My medical conditions are permanent and will only get worse, so my V.A.T. exemption should apply every time I place an order. Other wig retailers I have used, take the V.A.T. of the price of a wig when purchased, not after you have received the wig. If you have to return a wig, you refund is what you actually paid when you first placed the order, so a much simpler way of doing things.
As a topper wearer the most difficult part of a purchase is matching the colour depicted to your own. I have had quite a few that I’ve had to return, but it’s never a problem with this company. The ones I have had successes with have arrived quickly and in a well packed box. The customer service is second to none, and I cannot speak highly enough of their understanding.
Marvellous company that will always be my first choice when shopping for hair volumisers…..their prices are always the lowest!

I’ve used Hot Hair for years!
I’ve used Hot Hair for years, ever since I lost my hair to Alopecia at the age of 17. Never had any issues, delivery has always been prompt, VAT refunds have been swift and the wigs always been great quality! I love browsing the clearance section for a bargain!

Good selection of products and delivery. No quibble replacement of goods when last consignment was damaged and not delivered. Only one suggestion in that it would have been nice to have been notified that my email regarding the non delivery had been received and replacements on their way as I had no way if knowing until they actually arrived.

So went to the shop & purchased a second hair piece, both very different to each other. Now I have two quick hairstyles for different occasions in seconds, absolutely over the moon with my hair pieces from Hot Hair

Very good customer service and quality products.
My first order was returned as the colour did not match my hair. There were no questions asked and I got a prompt refund. I then ordered another hair piece which again was deliver on time and I love it. The quality of the hair pieces is really good and the excellent customer services means I would recommend Hothair to anyone.

Absolutely love the wig - Natural Image, April, petite cap size in glazed mocha. Delivery was super fast. Will be buying a second one in the New Year in the same colour and possibly a third in a different colour. So many wigs to choose from. Happy customer here and I will most certainly be back.

Ordered 3 x hair pieces, 1 of which wasn’t due until the middle of June. Hot hair contacted me to check I was still ok with this, which I was. 2 pieces arrived very quickly and were fine. The 3rd piece arrived at the end of May, so much quicker than I thought, again absolutely fine. No issues.

I have large scale hair loss so having continuity of hair style is important to me, this company supplied me with a genuine wig and also a mini petite size that I find hard to find.
They were quick with delivery and not overly expensive, and I am happy to recommend them.

It’s wonderful for colour match and very impressed.
It’s wonderful for colour match, it looks really natural, I love it but would like a better clip as I have problems with my hands and find them hard to clip in as my hair is quite thin these days. It is the best hair pieces I have ever had and have two more on the way.

The pieces are always of good quality but I just wish that they had like a key ring type of a sample with swatches of the hair colours as it can be quite difficult getting the colour right, these could be purchased at reasonable price so that you always have them.

Catwalk hair in seconds!
I just love Hothair products and have 3 to choose from. There’s a colour to match everyone I reckon. Within seconds I can have my hair up and looking glam. For extra glam and 2 more seconds then I add a chopstick. I can’t endorse these products enough.
