Love that the descriptions are accurate and items in really good condition on arrival. Prices can be very reasonable, especially if there's a sale but you have to know your stuff to see if it's a bargain or not. Contact could be a lot better and can sometimes not get a response from website messages which is disappointing.

Stone refurb are all to happy to take your money, but as to their so-called tech support it would appear nearly non existent. No follow up calls even when they say they will call. After buying an 'A' rated pc from them, it died four days later. Not good enough for what was meant to be a basically new pc. When it came back it was minus a power cable (more expense). I wouldn't recommend them to anybody

Poor customer service

Reason for poor review I contacted the company a few days after receiving the laptop to say I was concerned about the battery as it needed recharging after a short period of use. I quickly received acknowledgement of my complaint but approx 2 weeks later, no further response.

Hardware fine, software not so much

The condition of the laptop itself was fine, as described, but Windows kept looping through the questions when I tried to get it started. I gave up and installed Linux instead, so this works fine for me, but would be a non-working computer for others.

Fan did not function. Comes up quite clearly with the malfunction at boot. Looks like not refurbed/checked, but just passed on. Luckily only needed for extremely short sessions, so not returned. But disappointing
