I was quite late in purchasing my haggis and extras but everything I needed was i stock. The website is really easy to use and easy to find what I was looking for. Paying and choosing the date is also very easy but as I purchased late I was told it would be the 26th and not the 25th which was Burns night. To my delight the haggis was delivered by 5pm on the 25th. I couldn't have asked for more. Brilliant service from online straight to the door and everything was packed well so no leaks or busted boxes. Have used before and will continue to do so and will always tell friends to order their food from here to.

I visited Macsween haggis factory in September while on a visit to Scotland, I was hoping for a shop where their products could be bought, unfortunately the secretary at reception told me that their shop had closed some time ago. Undeterred, when I returned home to N.Ireland I ordered some of their products online. After 3 days I received an email saying that my order was being refunded as they couldn’t deliver perishable items to N. Ireland. I was very disappointed. I realise this is probably a fallout of the treacherous protocol and Brexit fallout imposed on N. Ireland by the incompetent Bojo but a simple message on Mcsweens website would have save me some wasted time. In regards to their haggis, it’s beautiful, second to none! Just

We ordered the haggis for Christmas Day , the use by date is the 24th December ( Christmas Eve ) which means it has to be frozen and anyone who has haggis a lot will know it’s not as nice frozen and defrosted so we still have to buy more but will go to Morrisons this time. , delivery was ok on the other hand arrived as scheduled but I won’t be buying anymore greatly disappointed

Hello. I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with our service. However, having doublechecked, you did order your haggis on November 30th and did not select a preferred delivery date. Consequently our default is understandably to send as soon as possible, which we duly did the next day. In this case the longest possible shelf life was Dec 24th (that is the maximum available direct from the manufacturers). On a personal note, I have successfully frozen Macsween haggis many times with excellent results and the manufacturer also recommends freezing to prolong the life of the haggis, with no loss of quality. I hope this information is helpful. Lee

Product was excellent. However, dpd reported having delivered it 'safely' to us. We had asked them to leave by back gate if we weren't in. My husband was in but they didn't knock & he found it an hour later on the front step. Dpd messaged they had left package in the porch. We don't have a porch!! Rubbish service!

Thought the gluten free haggis was very small for the £3.75 price tag. Also almost £7 for standard postage in a box that was far too large for the item. Will only feed one person

Hello. I do apologise if the website was not clear. I can see that you are referring to the Gluten free haggis product. Last year Macsween discontinued production of the 400g product and replaced it with the smaller size. We updated our site accordingly, clearly describing the new size and, crucially, revising down the price. Taking all this information into account I, respectfully, do not think it is fair or accurate to state that you "paid twice the price for half the product" Regards Lee

Disappointed with the very small size of the gluten free haggis. Have always had larger ones in the past.
