A very good, reliable, professional service. A long list of various auto electrical items were ordered and they all came quickly (2 working days with Royal Mail), well packed with great attention to detail. Just amazing, every part was clearly identified, helping greatly in seeing what is what, with detailed printed labels on component bags, even bespoke lengths of cable and tubing, neatly coiled, of various sizes all came tagged with labels! Again the despatch note is clearly set out and with mini photos of each item. I could not want more. Many thanks.
They are fine for vehicle electrics and marine cable, terminals, etc, etc, and for customer service but a selection of better quality marine lighting would be appreciated. I recently purchased two chrome finished LED downlighters which had poor quality chrome plating and were of inferior general quality compared with earlier purchases at similar pricing from marine chandlers.

Rapid resolution of delivery issue not their fault
I called because small package hadn't arrived. I called and told with apology that looked as if lost somewhere in Royal Mail. I was told that they would send replacement by priority mailing and true to their word it arrived the next day. Fair enough.

Quality Products But Excessive P&P
The quality of the products I ordered were excellent, but I did feel that the P&P costs were a smidge exessive - especially given my total spend. Of course, I realise that it was entirely my choice to place an order, but the pre-sales technical support I received was very reassuring.

Non genuine CBE sockets
I ordered some CBE sockets and back plates . The back plates were genuine CBE but the sockets were a different make . The holes in the sockets that line up with the lugs on the back plates were too big for the lugs on the back plates and would not clip in.

Hi,
Thank you for your review. The sockets you refer to are manufactured for CBE by a company called Inprojal and they supply both CBE and CBE's sole UK distributor. From our discussions with the UK distributor, CBE does not manufacture any version of these sockets themselves.
We have checked our stock here and whilst the sockets are not a push-fit onto the support frame pins, there is no movement of them within the support frame if they are installed correctly. We have sold these for several years now and have not had any problems with them previously, however, it's possible that you received a faulty part and I understand that you have now been refunded.
