Prices and availability are often the best for some of the brands that I like, so this isn’t my first time using Alpinetrek. On this occasion I bought and returned some shoes as they were a little tighter than expected, however the refund was issued without and problems and I ordered another size. They’re a little slow and I suppose my only complaint would be that they use a ‘co.uk’ address when goods are actually shipped from Central Europe. Yes, the expected shipping time IS stated so they’re not doing anything wrong but one of the main reasons that people choose to buy from ‘co.uk’ sites is that they assume shipping will be swift. I feel that it’s a little misleading. They also exclusively use EVRI. Thankfully my experience this time was positive and I appear to have a a good local driver but I would never choose a site using Evri if I could find the same product for a competitive price elsewhere, it’s not worth the risk

Alpinetrek is brilliant. The best large outdoor retailer. Especially because you stock large size shoes and products I can't get anywhere else. Recently your stock levels of some products have been low, but this seems to be a problem in other places. Your delivery & return systems for the UK are excellent. You coped well with Brexit which couldn't have been easy. Also your product specialists are very knowledgeable. The website is also very good. The search & filter options could be improved as they can come up with funny results. That's a minor thing though. I wish you were able to sell Lowa to the UK but I understand they won't allow it. Your courier, Evri, is another story. They are really bad. No customer service, crashing computers which don't allow customers to collect items from a pick up point even though the item is physically there- the computer said no. Lack of and misleading tracking information. That's the only reason I knocked a star off. Alpentrek ***** 5 stars. Evri - * minus 1star 5-1 =4!

Good value for the item I wanted. A little unclear as to the location of the business ie: Outside of UK so potential delivery issues exist which is made more problematic by the use of a poor shipping agency (Evri) with useless tracking facilities.

Item is as described. Was a little late being delivered, took 8 days rather than the expected 4-5, and had to contact them to find out what was happening. However, customer services were very good once they replied.

I was recommended these shoes by one of the Alpine Trek experts. I bought 2 pairs as I wasn't sure about the size. Today I sent the bigger pair back - this order - as they are too big for me and kept the smaller size; I tried the latter yesterday and they seem fine. I have awarded 4 stars as I need to see if there will be any issues with the return.

A wide selection of brands on offer and some good deals if one takes the time to look. I found a very good price on the items I ordered, and just what I was looking for. Promptly dispatched and delivered - a big improvement from my previous couple of orders. I'll be happy to purchase from AlpineTrek again.

Really nice site and easy to navigate - but there is very little product information. Did a compare and contrast with info on other sites to work out whether it was what I was after. Really only ordered with you because you happened to be cheaper.

Exceptional product And ultimately this is what counts. Four stars not five because delivery was slower that anticipated, not that I’m in a rush, but if somebody else was ordering for a particular event, the good may not reach them in time.

Email updates need to be updated regularly. Especially when stuck at customs. That said , when the Leki Nordic Spin Shark poles did arrive they were in good order. Now waiting for my second order for the bag I which to transport them.

The items arrived in original condition, well packed and protected. Tracking package a bit of an issue since it appears coming from Europe and tracking only came to live when in the the UK. Otherwise very good service and good prices.

Good website and items, but actual delivery timescale exceeded what was quoted. Although all goods were in stock, they weren't despatched until the time when they should have been delivered. Delivery then took another 4 working days.

I hadn't realised that goods would come from Germany so a little disappointed with time form ordering to receipt of goods but all in all a good experience - good products/range and support

Ordered a pack of 6 quickdraws and a carabiner. Box was undamaged, but one of the quickdraws was missing. Support offered a 25% refund on the six pack. Will happily use alpinetrek again

Delivery could have been better. I found the item in my brown bin a few days after delivery having looked on the tracking page. A notification would be good if you abandon a package.

Lovely clothes but I’m a new customer & when I signed up I was to get 5% off. I touched code which took me to site but nowhere was I asked to enter code. Didn’t receive discount.

Good detailed description of item, and efficient sizing guide (hiking boots) Free delivery, and very easy and reasonable returns costing makes for confidence when buying online.

Excellent product … read the small print as takes a little while for the item to reach the delivery co who you can track your parcel with . Still came within timeframe though

All items sent in good time, but the cycle jerseys were of poor quality. Very thin and see through. The hat was good and the two cycle cleaning brushes good too.

I received my order ( a Christmas gift) but was a bit confused as to when it would arrive. Fortunately it arrived in plenty of time.
