As a first time customer I found the site user friendly , clear and easy to navigate.
I changed my plans to be available for DHL delivery slot as a signature is required. I received a mobile message stating delivery had been made. I saw the van driver drive off, without ringing my doorbell or leaving any message. I eventually got through to DHL on my 3rd attempt, then discovered my wine dumped at the side of my house. Not impressed.
I ordered a vintage bottle of port as a gift for a retirement party. Unfortunately, this company uses a poor courier service and despite ordering the product a full week before it was needed and paying for express 1-2 days delivery, the port did not arrive in time. I pleaded with the company to send a replacement so that I had the gift in time but they refused, saying it needed to be returned by the courier or reported lost before they would refund me. They did agree to refund me eventually but too late to find a replacement gift prior to the party.
Buying was easy, and the product seems excellent value - now to find out if the delivery is as effective!

Easy website to navigate - do not charge any delivery on orders over £100 would be a an improvement

Thank you for your review and feedback John. We do have free Standard Delivery (3-5 working days) for orders over £100.00. However, if the order is required urgently we offer a Next Day Delivery at a slight charge. We do hope the recipient enjoys their kind gift.

Thank you for your feedback on your shopping experience. While we do not have this feature imbedded in the site, we do have a delivery notes section for customers to stipulate any requirements. Thank you for your using this to request delivery on a later date; I can see my colleague has already emailed you to confirm this.
