As a first time customer I found the site user friendly , clear and easy to navigate.
I changed my plans to be available for DHL delivery slot as a signature is required. I received a mobile message stating delivery had been made. I saw the van driver drive off, without ringing my doorbell or leaving any message. I eventually got through to DHL on my 3rd attempt, then discovered my wine dumped at the side of my house. Not impressed.
I ordered a vintage bottle of port as a gift for a retirement party. Unfortunately, this company uses a poor courier service and despite ordering the product a full week before it was needed and paying for express 1-2 days delivery, the port did not arrive in time. I pleaded with the company to send a replacement so that I had the gift in time but they refused, saying it needed to be returned by the courier or reported lost before they would refund me. They did agree to refund me eventually but too late to find a replacement gift prior to the party.
I was told a signature was required so I stayed in but the package was left on the door step. I checked on the door bell CCTV and no attempt to ring the doorbell took place.

Thank you for your review David, while we do advise that a signature is preferable for delivery we do also offer an option to leave with a neighbour, or to leave in a safe location if selected. I can see the parcel was delivered safely the next working day and I do hope you enjoy your bottle of Graham's 1970 Vintage Port.

Bottle labelling.
The bottle supplied which was a 1978 vintage port was a gift for a friend. the bottle looked totally different to what was ordered from the website and looked really tacky compared to what was pictured.

No problem at all with the product or service. Very good. I had paid extra to have the gift delivered specifically on my Son's birthday though and the company were let down badly by DHL who actually delivered it 3 days late.

Dear Cristian, thank you for your honest review. We are sorry that the gift box arrived damaged and we were unable to ship a replacement box to arrive the next day as our courier had already collected the outgoing parcels. Instead, we action a refund for the gift box, the only option in this situation. We do hope the recipient enjoys their lovely Graham's Port.

Vintage port 40 years
All was fine except for the gift packaging which I paid extra for. It was supposed to be straw lined but it was plastic bubble wrap instead.

Thank you for your review Jackie, I can see the gift box you selected was the gold cardboard gift box. The bottles inside this come in bubble wrap for protection during transit. Straw lining is included in the wooden gift box with sliding lid.

Impressive range of vintage ports
The impressive range of vintage ports and the useful information provided on each were both highly satisfactory. The web interface, contrary to the spirit of the age, was easy to use and seems not to have been designed by chimps. The one drawback (and reason for dropping a star) was that I was compelled to pay using Paypal, as the credit card option, which I would strongly prefer, returned a 505 error.

Good website. Good range on offer. Quick delivery. Only (very) minor negative is that the rope handle on the presentation box pulled through the hole so the box cracked to the floor when carrying it by the handle. Fortunately no damage done but could have been expensive.
