I had my eye on a particular rug for a long time. at another shop but it was rather expensive so I was putting off the purchase, waiting for a special offer but there never was any on this rug. Then I did an online search based on its description and to my surprise I found the exact same rug at the Rug Shop for an incredible price. I must admit I had not heard of this shop before so I checked Trustpilot and the reviews were great, so I ordered the rug. I even found a discount code on the shop website to take a bit more money off, making it an absolute bargain. The rug arrived a few days later, it’s absolutely beautiful and for a fantastic price. I was kept up to date by email throughout the order process up until delivery. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and with the Rug Shop, and I will be back to buy more.

If you want dangerously high blood pressure, this is the company for you. I was told my rug had been delivered on 25 May but due to a “technical issue” getting a Proof of Delivery from the courier, I was asked to confirm receipt. The rug hadn’t been delivered, which I suppose qualifies as a “technical issue”. I was given subsequent assurances about delivery. Somewhat akin to a unicorn, the rug remains much talked about and yet unseen. While the sales team member dealing with me has kept me updated, the whole process been shambolic. I received an email on Thursday 2 June saying that problems contacting the courier remain ongoing and promising to reissue the rug by this coming Tuesday if these problems continued. By some small miracle, part of the order was delivered later that day. I emailed the rug company to confirm this and to state that I did not want this marked at their end as a completed delivery. It may be due to the bank holiday but I didn’t get any reply, or for that matter the rest of my delivery. I will not be recommending the Rug Company to anyone as long as I live, except perhaps to my worst enemy.

They sent the wrong rug so nun to happy and then the rug I had ordered was no longer available. But customer service was quite good and delt with things reasonably quickly. Just waiting for my new rug to arrive now, that's a different one I ordered in replacement for the one they no longer have

Although delivery was good, the same could not be said for the goods and customer services. The carpet was advertised as shag pile but the quality of the carpet was very poor and nothing like expected,very thin and not sitting flat,as for cutomer services that was a real let down, although advertised as being able to return for a

No email received from Rug Shop UK to confirm purchase, just had to hope the order went through and items turn up. The large rug feels cheap to walk on as you can feel the course hessian base on your feet. Other rugs in a awa me price range are of better quality, from Dunelm and the like.

Prompt delivery. Wrong rug supplied. Absolutely abysmal customer service to resolve this issue. Promised phone calls never materialized. Had to spend 4hrS attempting to have the wrong item collected. Still unresolved. Still waiting to receive refund. Not a reliable company

The rug I bought worth £100 looked about £10 worth. It was so thin and the colour was nothing like the picture. Horrible material. Trying Trying sort out a return but they are wanting £30 for a return even though the delivery was free! Absolute joke
