Very poor communication from them. Asked for additional items to be added to order and received no reply. Had no feedback on length of time my ebike would take to be delivered. Courier did not contact me and 'Track my parcel' app simply showed it in transit. I phoned them (no phone number on their email) and they promised to get driver to contact me 1/2 hour before delivery, as they will not give any indication of delivery time. They did not, so it was a good thing that my doorbell has a camera on it, so I could see them arrive. Ebike assembly instructions were generic, incorrect and did not detail specific parts of the assembly, such as how to get the Shimano Di2 gears to work. Contacted Bikester for assistance and they took over a week to respond. Their advice was to take it to a local bike shop! Bikester seem to think that because they are busy and dealing with coronavirus, that they can forget customer service because of heavy bike sales. My recommendation is - buy elsewhere.

Understandably this does not necessarily remedy your issue. We shall take note of your issue with the Shimano Di2 gear setup and implement a strategy that avoids this issue in the future. as I've already written to you - the inner tube you supplied has a leaking valve. I didn't return it as it is not worth wasting the energy for such a small item.

whilst ordering, payment and delivery system is good, the instructions to finish the construction of the bike are not easy to understand for a novice, my understanding from the instructions was that it would be very easy, my reading of it, is that the brakes have been reconfigured to British standard from the European standard, but i am not certain. The disc brake on the front was closed and was hard to get the front wheel on, when i did get it on it was rubbing so is clearly not right, there are no suggestions for correcting it. This left me with no choice but to seek an expert to set it up ready for me to ride, as there is no local support from the suppliers. Having paid so much for my new bike, the last thing i want is to set it up wrong. Disappointed that i will probably have to pay someone to complete the bike in order for me to ride it with no concerns.

On the plus side, the website is pretty slick and the delivery was on time. My gripe is that Bikester are nearly impossible to get hold of. Sure, they will point to Corovirus changing trading practices but, frankly, that is a bit weak! There are no telephone numbers published on the website and they take an age (like 3-5 days) to respond to emails. For a consumer focussed business it is just not good enough. So, by all means use Bikester if you know exactly what you want and do not intend to have to contact them, otherwise avoid.

Had issue with bike gear and chain making some noise at higher gears. Raised with customer care team and informed that I am ready to keep bike as I dont have the packaging to return. Instead of offering me goodwill gesture, team member requested me to send proof of bike servicing which we all know that it's not possible soon. Not great after spending more than £200 on bike. Thanks.

I'm quite disappointed with the quality of my bike so far. The delivery worked as promise, and I've been in touch with Michel who has been very helpful, but there are several problems with the bike itself. The chain keeps falling off, and the seat won't stay upright. The lights barely work, and I'm disappointed at the overall cheapness of a bike that wasn't cheap to buy.

The communication from Bikester is not good at all. Having tried several times to contact them through various means, I got very little response. Also their, website wouldn't access card payments. This was also the same for a few friends of mine. However Bikesters prices are good and once order is placed, you are kept informed of the delivery.

The helmet is perfect but the delivery was far too slow considering the cost and was later than estimated. Tried to contact Bikester but was unable too and the email was finally answered over a week later. Service and delivery needs improving, if delivery was free it would not have been an issue but for the cost it needs to be a lot faster
