Upon ordering I was a little skeptical due to the long delivery time however that is because of the corona pandemic that caused disruptions everywhere. 11 - 15 working days was promised for delivery and i received it well within the allotted time frame. I would have received it a day earlier however UPS (the courier) was delayed. Exact time from order to delivery took two weeks.
Now on to the bike. Once the package was received, everything was very neatly placed inside the box. The bike was mostly pre-built (as advertised) and all it took was a little assembly of the front tyre, handlebars and the seat which already attached to the seatpost. This was simple enough and there are instructions as well as online videos to help. The bike rides well, the quality is great and totally justifies the cost. Overall a great experience, I totally recommend.
Very poor communication from them. Asked for additional items to be added to order and received no reply. Had no feedback on length of time my ebike would take to be delivered. Courier did not contact me and 'Track my parcel' app simply showed it in transit. I phoned them (no phone number on their email) and they promised to get driver to contact me 1/2 hour before delivery, as they will not give any indication of delivery time. They did not, so it was a good thing that my doorbell has a camera on it, so I could see them arrive.
Ebike assembly instructions were generic, incorrect and did not detail specific parts of the assembly, such as how to get the Shimano Di2 gears to work.
Contacted Bikester for assistance and they took over a week to respond. Their advice was to take it to a local bike shop!
Bikester seem to think that because they are busy and dealing with coronavirus, that they can forget customer service because of heavy bike sales.
My recommendation is - buy elsewhere.

Your service was without fault upon ordering. I had a good experience. Namely, finding everything I needed for my trip. I was surprised when I found out that I would need to wait 2weeks for delivery - I just missed that your operation was in Stuttgart. I was reassured about delivery tracking and times being as notified. So, I was happy with this also.
What I would say going forwards is that I have yet to recieve a response to my emails regarding the pannier that broke at the beginning of my trip. All because of a little, tiny component that I would like replaced. I have also emailed Red Cycles (the brand of pannier and Rear rack) who haven't replied also.
Of course, we are all experiencing unprecedented times and I'm sure that it is just an oversight. Being ingenious as I am = my temporary fix has lasted some few hundreds miles now. I will follow up on y emails and see how we can solve it to everyones satisfaction. I wish you all at Bikester - the very best and healthy years' ahead. Peace and peddling!
Asked to rate but still waiting to receive my order! Why?
Time taken to process, dispatch and receive order is way too long. This isn't communicated clearly when making a purchase online.
Assuming all branded products I have ordered are accurate and not faulty I can only recommend using Bikester.com if you're not in a hurry. Wiggle, even with their free delivery service usually gets your order to you within 3 working days.

After sending an email opening a case about late delivery of my new bike, I was told that i was send a DHL tracking email in error (it never showed my package existed). Then i was reassured a different courier was being used, Koch International, who should have been in touch with me (they hadn’t). I replied asking for this to be chased up but no answer. I’m appreciative of the Xmas and COVID-19 difficulties but the responsiveness so far has been poor. I’m still waiting to even to get news of an estimated delivery date.
