We live in North Yorkshire and found this wonderful furniture store whilst visiting Bath…….what a find ! An amazing selection of traditional and contemporary furniture, displayed beautifully over many floors. Sally, a most pleasant sales lady, helped us to make our choice of table, chairs and sideboard - her extensive knowledge of all the ranges was so helpful and her input most valuable and welcome. Delivery was arranged by Stuart ( of dispatch)…..so lovely to speak to an actual person - who was charming and most accommodating. Our furniture arrived yesterday, transported and delivered by Sam and Jake who were most pleasant and helpful…… even though the trip took them almost 5 hours , they assembled the table and demonstrated how it extends and then positioned everything as I requested- nothing was too much trouble and we are delighted with our new furniture…..it looks perfect in our new kitchen diner. Many thanks to the whole Hays team…….it has been a joy to shop with a company where customer service is their priority……..we'll definitely be returning soon !
Our ordered bed settee was originally due to be delivered at beginning of Dec. 2023. It was delayed by the manufacturer until late Jan this year. but I was only informed of this when I phoned Hayes to obtain a specific day in early Dec. I was told then that I would be informed immediately it came in in Jan. and would be delivered on the first delivery day for our area. Again that did not happen!
However I must give full credit to Frank and Rob our delivery team who took every possible care to ensure the item and our newly decorated rooms were not damaged. They took time to explain the bed settee mechanism and were both very polite
William was so helpful, knowledgeable and very importantly good humoured and T R Hayes have a great range of British made products.

TR Hayes has been amazing from buying products, holding in storage through to the delivery.
The sales staff are helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy, this shop has everything I needed to look at with multiple choices.
Arranging delivery was amazingly easy, with phones returned when promised.
We had an issue (at our end), which meant the goods could not be delivered straight away, TR Hayes held these goods we purchased until we need them, this went on for months, shop has been more than helpful.
Delivery of goods, wow, Steve and Jake were fantastic. Polite, kind, helpful, cleaned up after themselves. They were supper nice to both my dogs, who were helping put the delivery together :-)
Thank you TR Hayes, we will be back when we need more goods.

An excellent experience shopping, which we have found is unfortunately a rarity. Thank you all.
We had purchased a riser/recliner in the recent sale and found the lady who helped us very supportive and patient whilst we made our decision her name was Rebecca.
We then had phone calls with a young lady about our delivery again we were treated in a caring and helpful manner.
Our chair was delivered last Thursday by Steve and Kris who couldn’t have been more helpful in positioning the chair exactly where we wanted. They were also extremely good at demonstrating all the buttons on the control which was a huge help. They also offered to help my husband with our G Plan sofa which needed to be taken apart before the charity people collected it.
From start to finish our whole experience was extremely positive.

House move successfully completed
We have recently moved to a new build house and have needed carpets and furniture. Hayes have such a wide selection of product ranges and their staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. We dealt with Julia who helped us through the ordering process and ensured we has the whole choice of fabric samples etc.
We were given an expected delivery period and our furniture arrived very near to the given date. Delivery was by Steve and Paul who were most helpful and spent time assembling our table and chairs before carrying in sofas and bedroom furniture. All this on a very hot day with no complaints!
Good service and a fair price. Quite rare these days.

Helpful, Cheerful and Knowledgeable !
From the time we asked about beds and mattresses the service and advice received from T R Hayes was outstanding.
On the day before delivery we were contacted to be told a time slot for the delivery.
We have had some very poor experiences with a nationally based store chain when on three occasions the goods were found to be damaged.
Sam and Phil completed the delivery for T R Hayes and were helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable.
We also learned that T R Hayes can often deliver to many parts of the UK.
This is something we will definitley remember for the future if we ever move out of the Bath area.

Exceptional service
I have been buying from T R Hayes for 25 years plus! They are my number one destination when I need to replace furniture.
The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Always happy to answer questions and advise.
Delivery was made by arrangement with a personal call from the warehouse manager , and a time slot was advised on the day of delivery, so no hanging about all day. The delivery team also called me to let me know that they were on the way to me. My furniture was carefully offloaded, all packaging removed and taken away.
The delivery team were very helpful and respectful of my home.

Excellent service today from Marcus & Phil.
Had Marcus and Phil deliver our new 3-piece suite today. It was not easy to get it in through the front door. They persevered and eventually succeeded. Not once did they complain, in fact, they were both reassuring and professional throughout. I can thoroughly recommend the excellent service I experienced during this (awkward) delivery. I really hope T R Hayes and their delivery manager, if there is such a position, fully appreciate these two young men, they are a credit to your company. Please relay my thanks to them both, yours sincerely, Mr Tony Spurrell.

Sofas
Like: good service in store from Ben though did not keep in touch about progress. To be competitive the company should incentivise free delivery.
Very liked: Great delivery guys ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Steve and Paul - they were incredible with my young puppy. Great service.
Don’t like: planning and organisation of the delivery. Stuart was more concerned about being overwhelmed and less concerned about what worked for the customer. I had to take two days off work because of miscommunication. Perhaps he needs some support. Though he did refund our delivery charge.

Professional, friendly, but not pushy, staff who guided us through with clear details and assistance on our choice of sofas.
We did have to wait several weeks over our stated estimated delivery time but are very pleased with our choice and do understand certain problems are always out of control and the communication was very professionally, with a call the day before delivery and the driver keeping in touch on the day.
Our furniture was delivered by Kris and Paul who were professional, friendly and respectful. I would definitely use T R Hayes again.

From the moment we walked into the shop until our furniture was delivered the whole team gave exceptional customer service. In store Caroline and Simon made us feel at ease and enoucouraged us to spend as long as we needed to make our decision (we visited 3 times!) They listened to our needs, made helpful recommendations and gave us space to talk through and wanted to ensure we made the best decision for us - there was nothing pushy! On delivery Steve and Jake were friendly, helpful, professional and courteous - definitely a 5 star service.

Excellent service from the time we walked in the door Will served us very helpful,friendly, and efficient couldn't ask for better service. Stuart the despatch manager rang us on the exact week they were expecting delivery with confirmation the sofas had arrived and to arrange delivery to us again very efficient and friendly was delivered on the day and time arranged by Paul and Marcus who again were very helpful, friendly and very professional. TR Hayes staff were all exceptionally helpful in the sales department of the contemporary store and in the bed sales area. They have an amazing, interesting and varied range of furniture.
The delivery team of Steve and Paul went above and beyond with a particularly difficult instalment of the super king size bed. Steve was amazing and if it hadn’t been for his sheer grit and determination the mattress would have never got up the stairs. Unfortunately he hurt his back in the process and we hope he makes a speedy and full recovery

New bed ordered and delivered by TR Hayes.
When we visited the bed department to try to decide on our next bed we received fantastic knowledgeable, attentive and patient support from Rebecca. Finnaly we choose a Mammoth bed.
Just had delivery from Steve and Paul who contacted us week before to confirm time period on chosen day and then on the morning of delivery another call from Steve saying will arrive in about an hour. They moved and fitted bed swiftly, politely and moved it into our preferred position. All packaging was removed and no trace of their visit!

Outstanding service from purchasing to delivery
It's an absolute pleasure shopping here. Ben in the Contemporary Showroom is nothing short of fantastic. He was so understanding and helpful when my flat purchase was delayed and kindly helped to change my delivery date. Julia in the Bed Department was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and Paul and Nate who delivered my beds and dining table took time and trouble with getting the pieces into place. And they also called when they said they were going to! Very happy with great service.
